I'm still waiting for mine to be delivered. But the plan is for it to be my pocket device. I know it's pricey, and there is cheaper handhelds. But it being so powerful and having the android stand by, in a smaller form factor is very valuable to me. Plus it has the look of a Sony device and the PSP was my favorite handheld growing up, so that plays a part.
Thanks for the review. Getting tired of every reviewer calling every smaller device “tiny by mighty.” Why not something more unique like “truly a jumbo shrimp” lol (No hate. I’m just messing around)
Bro I pre ordered bought all accessories hoping the same I was so disappointed almost 270 shipped......luckily I was able to get my hands on this!! Last two weeks has been awesome!
This is definitely a great pocket PS2. I'm even running some games at 1080p with texture packs. I wish it came with 512GB storage, as I'm now limited with the amount of texture packs and apps I can install.
@@Brxin_R I have a 1TB sd card in my Odin 2 mini already. However, Android apps and games install to the internal storage. Which means my texture packs go the internal and I’m pretty much out of storage already.
Didn’t like the ergonomics, I would have liked the analog sticks to be at the bottom because with the current ergonomics setup it would be more for side scroller based games in my opinion
It’s not a brutal downgrade if it’s literally called a MINI and it’s expected to have some shavings. You expect an iPhone 13 mini to have the same screen and battery as a iPhone 13 Pro? You need to get your expectations in line. On that note it has a “brutal” upgrade in mini led 😊

How do you like your mini? I just got mine a few days ago and wow. It's really fucking nice.
I got mine last week and love it. It will now be my main retro emulation handheld.
I plan to pick this up eventually I own a retroid pocket 4 pro and will give that to someone in my family
NHL hits 03 is great on the Odin 2 mini…loved playing it on my commutes to work this past week
Excellent review 🎉
Thanks Petey! ❤️

Oooh wish I thought of that!
Great review. Thanks buddy.
Thanks Cho!
Is yours the base or pro?
I was hoping the RP4 Pro would be the pocket ps2, this seems like a more worthy handheld. But it also seems like neither are really that “pocketable”
Agreed.

Yeah I too wish it was a bit more dpad focused.
Wow, "not" a ps vita.
lovin my Odin 2 Max!!
Odin 2 Mini is a brutal Downgrade in my Opinion!
5000 mAh vs 8000 mAh
5 inch display vs 6 inch display
It's called the mini... So the screen is smaller... Fucking duh
@@fillerbunnyninjashark271 screen is smaller and 3000 mAh less battery = brutal downgrade!

@@EliasPfaiffer screen is actually superior to the original. The latency is significantly cut on the mini.
