I don't know if anyone said it yet but I wanted to share this fun fact about chameleons! they don't actually change color based on their environment to blend in or anything, they usually change color based on their mood :D if they're uncomfortable or upset they'll turn darker duller colors, if they're trying to fight another male or impress a female they'll get all flashy with it :3 it's really cool how they use their colors to communicate to eachother! (I think they also change color depending on the temperature of their environment, but that could just be "cold = sad :( warm = happy :D" lol) but enough of the chameleon fun facts, HE'S SO CUTE!!!! I LOVE HIS STUBBY LEGS!!!! AND HIS FACE IS SO!!!!!!! EEEEEEE

An extra button on a character can cost and extra million dollars. Whereas 3D can be produced far more cheaply. The truth is Disney doesn’t care about quality anymore. They’re just cheap.

I love chameleons (well, reptiles in general but lizards in particular) so I actually think Lenard turned out quite cute! I love his little stripes and the way his tail is curled up is adorable. 11/10 he is friend-shaped.
This was my favorite LPS as a kid, like everything about it made me happy I used the mechanism for stimming as i have ADHD and it was my only reptile so it was treasured
Okay I actually LIVE for the fanmail 😭😭 It’s SO freaking cute, and I love how encouraging you are to young artists :) We’re around the same age (I’m older for sure; recently became ancient actually) and it can be so hard for adults to look at the efforts of young people and see it as like,, idk, valid?? But it is, it SO is, and they are so inspiring and so freaking BRAVE and confident and unafraid. Not to get sappy, but I feel like I’m a better person for witnessing their passion, and your love for it. I’d die for those little artists tbh

I absolutely adored this lps when I was little, whenever I brought it to class everyone wanted to play with it, the tongue sticking out was fun like a stress toy, one of my favs always 💖
i had a panther chameleon for 5 years his name was kraken. im so happy to see an lps custom of a chameleon!! they are so cute and as pets a lot of work but worth it.
My repeat movie was, and honestly still is, how to train your dragon. Lenard turned out adorable, i thought he was very cute even in the sculpting phase, but then again I kinda have a soft spot for fugly little critters

the body shape I actually think turned out super lps! The issue is just that there wasn't much you could do to save that head; not because of the shape or the material it was made of but because of its size and placement. Lps reptiles mostly have long slightly thicker necks and thinner heads than a lot of other lps molds and the original base more than didn't have a neck- it intercepted Leonard's back placement. So I think with that in mind you actually did a decently solid job replicating style with what you were given....
I must not be able to sense ugly because Lenard’s before was rainbow chaos perfection. The pink striped tail made me think each section could have different accent shapes. Swirls, flowers, triangles, spots.
Also I think a horror movie you should watch and if I remember correctly it's not body horror is a movie called us. At first you think it's going to be a zombie movie but it turns into something else. Also warning if I remember implied eating rabbits though I don't remember it being actually showed in real life just drawn and talked about. But it is a awesome movie in my opinion.
I used to watch Matilda on repeat. I’d replay it over and over and over, to the point I’m pretty sure my mom moved my mini-tv to my room so I’d stop playing it where everyone else could hear lmao

A childhood movie I would love to watch on repeat would be Treasure planet, the animations were amazing and seeing all the little details are incredible, 2D animations with some 3D rendering while still looking like a 2D film, absolutely gorgeous.

Can highly recommend The Secret of Kells, Song of the Sea, Wolfwalkers, The Breadwinner, & My Father's Dragon. Some of these had me bawlin my eyes out 🥲

I'm traumatised by the movie Spirit. When my little brother was a toddler and I a preteen, he used to watch the movie on repeat. Literally, he would watch it from start to finish, rewind and repeat. During that time, I was home sick a lot, so I was forced to watch as well. I could quote the whole thing by head. I'm Dutch, so we watched the Dutch version, but we had some family in Germany. When we went to visit the my younger cousins were watching Spirit the German version and I was able to mouth along the Dutch lines as it was playing. Unfortunately this means that I have never watched Spirit as an adult.
Hello Mother Studios, with the return of LPS my urge to customise these gremlins has come back full force. So I thought I would ask what clay you use to sculpt on them, and whether it is air drying or if you have to bake them (if you bake them how do you do it safely?). Thank you and I love Lenard
I think she mentioned she uses polymer (baking) clay in one of her videos cause it's a little stronger and better at holding it's shape. She also said she doesn't recommend it for beginners because you can melt your LPS.

You can remove super glue from your skin gently with sandpaper
allow me to sand my skin
