More like this please!! Maybe do a monthly “leave at the store” video in conjunction with the monthly favorites videos? We need more influencers who tell us what NOT to buy.
I’m going to sound like a crotchety old lady, but I hope we all realize at this point in time that in the beauty space, TH-cam, Instagram, and TickTock have become huge marketing platforms. So many content creators are more about the PR, paid promotions, collaborations, subscribers, hits, and so on than they are about honest reviews. Because of the ubiquitous use of filters, we can’t even rely on what we’re seeing. All that being said, I do enjoy watching certain content creators, but over time I’ve become immune to the hype and FOMO.
You are absolutely correct, there are very few makeup creators that I watch. Most are current or former professional makeup artists who don’t believe in filters and PR from brands they don’t use on their clients.
This may not be popular, but I have tried almost every product from Westman Atelier and find they do not perform well in terms of longevity and just overall quality. Peau de Peche highlight compact is the only one that is unique but the price is still too high. Yes, the newer lipsticks are good but you can find the saturation of color and comfort elsewhere at much better pricing. Makeup by Mario and Lisa Eldridge lipsticks are examples. Her products are not bad but they are not groundbreaking and certainly not worth the hype and the exhorbitant prices. Not sure how she gets away with the pricing. Did you see her $600 mini brush set on Sephora’s website? People are basically saying “stop the madness”. Sofia, thanks for your wonderful content. It really helps to remind us to think about our options!
Finally someone said it! I thought something was wrong with me because everyone loves Westman Atelier but I was not impressed by anything I have bought from this brand.
❤ Westman Atelier (many products). The Lit Ups, The Face Trace and The Blush Sticks are one of my HG products 🎉 oh and the Eye Pods. On the other hand, Lisa Eldridge products tend to not work for my, but no problem, so I can spend my money on another British icon 😂
The mini brushes set look like a joke 🤣 Last time I go on the web site and I see a cute makeup bag … the price is way too high. When after I look YSL and I am it’s a good price 🤣 it’s because Westman Atelier is just way too high. YSL is not a good price! Sometime I have the impression it’s a competition where we can push the price for the client buy our products 🫠
I think $600 is insane for a mini brush set, that being said I really do love her entire line (except for her mascaras). I would MAYBE consider her brush set if it were her full size brushes and if there was a sale going on but even with that it’s still a little crazy.
Natasha has the best eye shadows, it doesn’t matter if you are makeup artist or just want to have nice look for your everyday appearance, her eye shadows are the best
I know I am in the minority and may anger some...but the new Lisa Eldridge refillable lipsticks are over $80 when you have the component and packaging. I know this is not a Sephora product, but I needed an outlet for how offensive I find the price . Creators so far just rave and really don't mention the price or suggest just buying the bullet with no packaging, which is a never for me. I understand Lisa loves vintage makeup and wanted to offer her clients something elevated and refillable, which might make sense if I never put it in my handbag or travel case.but to me if I am investing in Lisa Eldridge cosmetics (which I have including lipsticks I love) I want new packaging bright and shiny with no scuffs. Also as much as I love Patrick Ta on my cheeks, all but 1 duo of his new eyeshadows are nothing special and I would rather buy a Natasha Denona palette with 18 shades for less than 4 of the new formula of Patricks. Thank you for an outlet for my rant, it was cathartic! As always thank you for great content!
@susanmims I find the price you quoted odd 🧐. Because after is release I bought one for a birthday gift for my sister and it cost me 60€, shipping included. Granted, I live in Europe. Actually when I made my purchase the component wasn' sold seperately, it was 59€ component+lipstick. For a 100% recyclable lipstick I found that a much better price than the Guerlain ones. 60€ is still a hefty price but it makes for a great gift. I can't wait for my sister to open her beautiful gift 😍 Thinking about it now it actually cost me more than 60€: only bc I added the offer of the initials engraved at the bottom (it cost 4€)
How much is the refill? How often do you use up lipsticks/rebuy the same shades. If you're someone who has a lot of lip products and doesnt really go through them then i can understand the outrage but if you're more along the lines of someone who just has a couple shades and potentially repurchases them over and over again then i think it could be cost effective in the long run.
@@flowerchild2657i think they may be talking about Canadian prices. Theyre $89+ cad which is up there but when you compare it to other brands that do refillable lipsticks (guerlain etc) its fairly on par.
I love Laneige lip sleeping mask. I use it before bed and in the morning. Its one of the few products that are truly eczema friendly that work without tasting and feeling like medication.
I can’t wear ND because it is irritating to my eyes and actually stains the lids. Pat McGrath is the same response. Huda does not hurt my eyelids, Dior does not hurt my lids, tarte does not hurt my lids.
You might want to look at sensitivity to talc - just looking at the ones you tolerate, one commonality is they don't have talc compared to the ones that are irritating for you
I tolerate the “glitter eyeshadows” from her quite well but some matte eyeshadows not so well, although I'm still testing to see if I can find out why. Whether it is simply because some have an outfall, i.e. because of particles that dust into the eye - I am very sensitive - or really an ingredient. Unfortunately, I've had to give some products away because I couldn't tolerate them, especially when I've tried new brands. Especially foundations. I hope you understand me, as my mother tongue is not English, sometimes i don't know if i find the right words 😉
Natasha Denona cannot do cool toned eye shadows. Huda can, so I prefer her over ND - all of the ND palettes pull orange on me including glam/nude. I don’t care how nice the formula is, I’m not meant for orange makeup.
I agree with you! I’m a Huda Beauty fan also. I got a great deal on the Icy Nude collection on the HB website and it came to me within four days. The quality is excellent!
I have to agree, i much prefer huda over ND. Apparently Icy Nude is her last large palette that she's going to do so a bit sad about that as her 9 pans are hit or miss.
Well.... Huda can not do browns that aren't purple nor pinks or greys that aren't PURPLE 🙄every darn palette no matter the name is full of shades that have strong purple undertones
Honestly I love the big huda’s palettes I wish she would not stop releasing them. i think her palettes are fun with the different textures.. so it’s in a different lane than Natasha so I think it depends what’s your style with makeup
In defense of Dior lip oils, they’re super plushy on my lips and I use them as sleeping masks. You wipe it off in the morning, it exfoliates your lips so well your slips are moisturized and smooth all day. The Ami Cole ones are too pigmented and leave sticky stains on my teeth so much I cluttered them so fast
Sofia great job! this needed to be said about these just average products. Natasha Denona is the best - all others are secondary! - buys older ND rather than new Mario or Huda. Again superlative job!
my dearest Phyllis, I don't understand why your comment is getting so much hate and negitive reactions from others- just ignore. It's just your opinion about makeup and you weren't mean nor did you put anyone down. Fellow commenters need to smoke a joint and chill. Yes it's legal in my state!!!! Spark up haters!
Exactly, that's how it is. Instead of an Hourglass palette, I simply treated myself to one of your blushes, which really suits my skin tone. I'm very happy with it. I also recently ordered my third Hourglass eyeshadow in Smoke because it makes me happy and satisfied in all respects (durability, compatibility, appearance, shimmer). + They are quick to apply, my favorite one and done's. I not only want to be responsible with my money but also with my storage space, which is why I prefer to have smaller pieces. Greetings, Maria 🦋
Thank you! I really appreciate this type of content. I was VERY disappointed in the Dior stick foundation on my dry, 63-year-old skin. No matter what primer or SPF I used, it looked dry and emphasized my pores. In addition, the scent irritated my skin. I returned it to Sephora.
I found this too on my dry 29 year old skin! I just could not make it work at all! Idk how people are doing it! But for the price, absolutely returned it!
i love your honest reviews omg there are a few of them that i’d been tempted to get!! but was not sure if they’re gonna be worth the price. thanks so much❤
You know I felt like I have been crazy for years because everybody is loving Hudas eyeshadow formula. Some were saying it’s one of the best. I don’t think it is at all. It’s not terrible, mediocre in my opinion.
Same!! In my case I foolishly kept buying her palettes because of the hype. I owned 18!!! at one point 😢I did not love a single one😅! Mediocre mattes that very often are purple undertone no matter how the color looks in the pan which on my skin tone comes out strong. Very chunky highly textured shimmers that don't look good and are difficult to apply or dry thick satins that have no actual shine..... I like indie shadows so I know how to use super shiny or sparkly shades. I don't mind glitter. Huda's just aren't very good
Totally! There are drugstore products that are better! I got a mini HUDA pastels palette for half off at a Sephora sale (so like $16 ?) and the mattes were dusty and the glitters were straight up chunky mess!! I threw it away. Natasha Denona is way better!
I have the rose quartz palette bc it was so hyped...needless to say every time I use it, I hate my makeup. I refuse to buy another one. I just don't vibe w her formula at all.
For lip balms, I like Laneige and Summer Friday’s because Glossier has lanolin which is a common allergen. Gives me welts. But before the welts, I just had peeling sore lips and couldn’t figure it out. Derm said it’s extremely common. So if your lip balm is making your lips worse, check the ingredient list.
I know this is probably an unpopular opinion but… Merit beauty just isn’t that great to me. I’ve tired a lot of their products and most have been complete flops. I’ve either thrown them away, returned them or given them to my mom or sisters. Their lipsticks at least the first two they came out with were SO MID. It might be my fault because I’m a high end lipstick girly through and through but I hated everything about those. Their cream eyeshadows are nice but dry out… The only thing I’ve truly enjoyed from Merit is their Great Skin Instant Glow Serum. It’s really nice under makeup in the winter. But… it’s also dupable because I have a few other products that do exactly the same thing. 🤷🏻♀️ I doubt a lot of people will agree with me on this based on the brand’s popularity but I know I won’t be wasting my money on them anymore. Anyway, thanks for posting Sophia. I really love your videos. Happy holidays! 😊
I love the Merit Blush balms on my mature cheeks and don’t mind that they barely show up on my post menopausal cheeks for a non makeup make up look. I agree that the lipsticks are overhyped. They are not comfortable and hydrating on my lips although I do like the colours and wish they did live up to expectations. I won’t buy the single shadows based on reviews.
@ Okay. Maybe there’s hope for the brand. Their blushes aren’t something I’ve tried before so who knows. Maybe I’ll give them a go at some point. Thanks. :)
Same. I love the Merit serum but have thrown out 3 lipsticks and 2 blush balms. Not trying anything more. They all faded within an hour on my pale skin.
This is the first year I actually bought the hourglass palette. I used the single powders or the trio palettes. This is the first year I liked all the shades in a holiday palette. For expensive makeup I try to go to store and actually see the product. But I am a sucker for pretty things
Appreciate your takes on these products. I personally returned the new Mario palette and opted for the Natasha Denona I Need a Warm palette (I have the Nude and the Glam, so this one I feel rounds out my collection). I agree with you about the Laneige lip masks and have been enjoying the Ole Henricksen lip treatment balm. I also ordered the Dr. Jart teddy bear lip balm, because I couldn’t resist the packaging 😂
Can you do a perfume version? I love this. I was so close to buying the makeup by Mario ethereal pallet but stopped myself. Really after swatching it, I was real with myself knowing that I wouldn’t wear it often enough to make it worth it. I personally love the charlotte tilbury exaggereyes pallet. I wear it everyday day pretty much and get soooo many compliments on my eye makeup.
I bought into the hype and bought the Huda palette. I loved the colors. I should have known better as I gave the last one to my granddaughter. I used it once and the fallout was so bad. I did my eyes first and tried to clean up the fallout but still had glitter all over my face. I returned it and I very seldom return anything!!
I wish I had seen this video sooner. I bought the HUDA palette and it does not compare in formula/quality to Natasha Denona. I do like the Mario, but you are correct about the mattes, they are not buildable. In fact, as you blend them, they tend to blend away. But I do like the looks I’ve created.
I was just thinking, It’s a little too late for many. She might save some of us from ourselves yet. I personally get only 10% so I always skip this sale around Black Fridays other sales.
I passed on the first ethereal eyes palette because I don’t care for warm tones. What appeals to me about the newer edition really is the convenience and how compact it is for travel. My eyes look effortlessly pretty every time I use it and I was so afraid it would sell out like the last one I bought it before the sale. Looking back I wish I was patient enough to wait 😂. The Huda palette is a pass for me since it looks like I Need a Nude which I love and can’t wait to pull out more this winter. Great video!
Love your honest reviews! I purchased and returned the MBM Ethereal Moonlight palette. The shadows creased on me, even with an eyelid primer. They ended up looking patchy on me. I much prefer Natasha Denona's palettes (debating whether to order her Roxa palette even though I don't usually reach for purple shadows).
FABULOUS VIDEO... more more more! I purchased the mini Natasha Denona Starlette palette to try her shadows, and invested a little more with the Patrick Ta Major Dimensions II . NOT IMPRESSED WITH EITHER. I got horrible fall out no matter what I did. I know people love their shadows, but I used several great primers on my eyes and the fall out was still awful.
I don’t get the laneige thing- agree they feel exactly like Vaseline, and all I can think is how nasty they get. Ole Hendrickson are my favorite lip treatments:)
Thank you for knocking sense into us😊only buy what, you’re gonna use and if they are worth it👍🏻👍🏻About time someone do a reality make-up check👌🏼👍🏻👌🏼👍🏻👌🏼👍🏻
Anything Patrick Ta. Both him and Mario think they are pricing Chanel or my favorite Dior products. I WAS SHOCKED when I saw the price of his new foundation.......Absolutely dumbfounded at that price!! Never will I buy products from either.
Can you pls provide your opinion on the "Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette"? It's not new but I'm not good at make up so the "tame" matte colors here seem safe, but curious to know if you have an opinion about the quality?
I've said this before, but all of these glowy gels are just pale imitators of the Becca shimmering skin perfectors. It's really unfortunate they went out of business, because so many of the popular formulas/styles are things they were doing 10+ years ago.
Sofia, this is the first video of yours I have come across and, you've got a new subscriber. ..I enjoy knowing what I am buying ,..I am searching for a new setting powder.----- have you tried the kosas pink pressed powder ?or the iconic setting powder???...I tried the Dior stick foundation and that has to be set with powder,.. or it will slide off the face and my skin is dry,...the huda setting powder I have,... doesn't play well with it..... I would love it if you could do a setting powder review,....and I agree I've always loved hourglass' finishing powders myself...anyone who can use ND is so lucky,..carmine is used in many of her shadows and it's a big allergy for me.,....--Can't wait to come back again...😇
3:37 Oh girl that one looks like a basic 😻 I gotta get my hands on this one. I was considering the Mario mattes or the Patrick Ta, but I like the look of this one you’ve mentioned, and I trust your critique.
Thank you. I put items in cart since first day of sale but didn’t want to spend the money but thought missing out. Thanks for reality check. I’m going to just get a lip combo and I’m more than thrilled. 😁
Hi new subscriber here ❤ I’m glad I found your channel. I agree with your list. I’m trying to only buy restocks or products that really suit my dry sensitive skin.
Yes we need this type of video if not i need a printing money machine...lol.🤣🤣 I have enough of make-up that can last me for a lifetime (ok that is overexaggerating but still a lot to me, 3 big palettes and a few small ones and all the other make-up for the entire face) and skin care products but luckily i control myself and i love watching TH-cam like yours and Michele Wang which i trust your and her recommendation. Thanks for sharing 😘
Unfortunately, I didn't tolerate one of the ingredients in the oil, I can tolerate the Bee Bee lip balm, but I would like it without color because the (light) color stays over the lip if you don't apply it precisely.
I thought really hard about the Huda beauty palette but the more I looked at reviews I realized I have the ND I need a nude and the midi xenon and I can actually get really similar shades from those to palettes together
This girl is spot on🎯🎯🎯 I have never liked the Make-up forever lipliners as well, I have dry lips so they either scratch my lips or you can’t see them…. I like me some creamy, lipliners👄💋👄
Thank you for your honest opinions! The Laneige didn't work for me either. I was about to get a Mufe lip liner but will look at CT or Pat now. Thank you
Thank you so much for the video. It was great to hear your take on various products. I love the Makeup By Mario Moonlight palette. I’m just love the idea of cool neutrals that are not overwhelming and the blue shade inspired to to pick up some Makeup For Every eye liners in Lagoon and Forest offset the neutral eye shadows and bring out my brown eyes. I started to return the Icy Nude palette but I watched a bunch of videos and decided to keep it. I tap off my brushes and have no problem with fallout. I ‘m a big SDJ fan Bum Bum cream. I think it does make a difference on my skin and I love the fragrance. It’s worth the money to me.
Amazing, thank you. I'm proud to say I don't have most of these brands. I did try the makeup forever pencil won't buy that again. I have the elephant hourglass palette from 3 years ago still good and being used. The rest not needed!
Agreed with you on everything but the Laneige - unfortunately its the only lip product that is currently still on the market that doesn't make my lips peel 😭 I'd gladly use a cheaper product but unfortunately it does work well for me :')
Sofia---thank for the recommendation of the Dior backstage smoky essentials palette! I saw your original review of this palette, but didn't pick it up. As I was browsing in Sephora yesterday, I happened to see it---I swatched in store and bought it immediately. I had steered away from these because I wasn't a huge fan of the formula, but this one is just gorgeous. The looks I have created are subdued and soft---very elegant. The white shade is actually a very, very light pale pink on me--and I just love it. Might even pick up another color story before the Sephora sale ends.
I loved this video, thanks, Sofia, so honest, super crystal clear!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩Here? O wow, no Sephora here. The Dior foundation stick is good, stays good on my dry sensitive skin, but, prepping, and using extra soft primers in advance...it's tooo fragranced for a product of which i want to choose: directly on my skin or a primer. The contour sticks i really love, easy to apply! But that's the 2nd layer. I did not purchase Dior foundation in a very long time, and again: so fragranced. I really wanted to try this one, back in the days, the Tom Ford stick foundation did not work for me either, lavender oil in the ingredients, and they still do that! I hope Merit comes to Europe, everybody talks about their foundation stick! Thanks again for this very good video, have a wonderful day!!!😘😘😘😘
You called it right on so many overhyped products. I hated the MUFE artist pencils. In defense of the brand though, I do love the Aqua Resist eyeliners they have. All day, no budge for me.
Hi Sofia! Great tips as usual! Mine is what I mentioned during your recent live… Neutrogena lip oil all the way! My lips feel exfoliated and soft every morning.
Thank you! I have never understood the popularity of the Makeup Forever pencils. They do not last! CT and Pat McGrath are my go to as well as About Face at Ulta for a lower price with lots of shades and lasts until you take it off! I bought the Backstage Smoky Essentials based on your Sephora sale recs and could not be happier! It’s GORGEOUS on the eye and so flattering for “mature eyes”
Thanks for sharing the truth. I thought the same. I love Dior backstage palettes and I love YSL 100. I used a lot Tom ford 35 too. But I am so difficult to persuade myself to buy the New Huda and the new Makeup by Mario. 😅 you are so brave and honest my lady ❤Have a great day🎉
SAY IT Sister!! I pressed LIKED so quickly! I haven't purchased a Huda palette in years! WAY over hyped and if I want sparkly pigmented eyeshadow, I have others that I reach for. Same with Makeup by Mario, you are right Viseart's mattes are much better and the new formula for mattes that Natasha Denona did is incredible. I am guilty for getting the Hourglass palette simply due to FOMO (and that Lotus packaging). But this is the LAST TIME (I think ROFL). I have 4 of them and wanted to get bronze one but that one you showed from Ami Cole is really cute! I had to laugh at the Summer Fridays, Laneige and the Makeup Forever because those I have the same comments. But you are going to have to pry those Sol de Janerio creams from my cold dead hands! ROFL
Oh, and on a side note…last video you mentioned you have a discount code for BK beauty :) which travel set to do prefer? The Angie H&F? Or the original burgundy one you got for your mom? Curious how the bags and brushes compare in your opinion
I held off on buying the Mario & am glad I did. The shimmers swatched horribly at Sephora - they were more like a topper. Also someone said the shimmers irritated her eyes. I have heard negative things about the formula of the first Ethereal Eyes palette, so I'm definitely passing on the new one. For cool tones, I'm going with the new Viseart that just launched😎
I have to agree with you on everything Sophia 👍. I decluttered the Huda eyeshadow palettes from my collection a long time ago. Really did not care for that formula.
For the Dior lip oil dupe along with Ami Cole (which is amazing so cushiony) if you like the doe foot applicator, go with inn beauty lip oils. They have the applicator, the scents and tastes nice, gives you a bit more color and they are only $18 so you can get different color washes for the price of 1 Dior lip oil. Eadem is amazing!! The applicator is so nice and cooling. I have different colors and I sometimes use butter mochi (clear one) as at night and it keeps my lips nice the next morning.

@@Monica68817 agreed! The beauty industry is so over saturated. There’s no way it’s all worth our money.
Finally someone is speaking honestly!!!! Thank u!!! ❤ From Greece
I love the blush sticks, but that’s it.
It's funny, what gets me the most compliments on my lips is literally Vaseline. 😂
😂 too funny
Sofia, you are spot-on with these reviews. I have tried many and couldn't agree more. Thank you, as always, for your honesty
Thank you! We need more videos like this. There are so many products, we can't possibly know about all of them.
This is so helpful! Would luv more of this type of video in the future. ❤
Agreed! Don’t buy it videos are my favorites.
Same here 🙋🏻♀️
You might want to look at sensitivity to talc - just looking at the ones you tolerate, one commonality is they don't have talc compared to the ones that are irritating for you
I tolerate the “glitter eyeshadows” from her quite well but some matte eyeshadows not so well, although I'm still testing to see if I can find out why.
@@mewv3 thank you. I will look into that.
@@MariaM-nn4fp I think it is from a red pigment that is used, called red lake 15 or something similar.
@@tanya32757 Great to hear! I’m hoping to pick it up for Black Friday from her site.
I love every single Huda eyeshadow palette that I own!
I agree too, I wasn't even impressed with visart after ND! And Huda is a rip off
Natasha denona runs ashy on me. Let’s not be so vehement about it.
@@Natalie27552 you are the one who sounds vehement, Ms. Phyllis was merely expressing her love for the brand- get over yourself
@ expressing love need not veer towards hostility for others. We can be positive without pushing others down
my dearest Phyllis, I don't understand why your comment is getting so much hate and negitive reactions from others- just ignore.
Why do you not have so many more followers? Your reviews are so thorough and so good! Thank you!
I recommend combining Dior stick foundation, Ilia Face Milk, and EltaMD sunscreen for a polished look. Perfect for normal skin like mine at 46 🤗
Same experience, and I had a hard time finding a shade that matched. The neutral shades were orange on me
While I don’t agree with all your opinions I do appreciate your honesty
I wish more commenters were like this! 😊
I love the Laneige sleeping masks. They do last a really long time and are really good value for money.
If you happen to live near a Trader Joe’s they have the same item that I love for $6. I like it so much I’m gifting it for Christmas stockings
I really enjoyed this Sophia! Nice to hear you talk about not feeding into buying too much. I really love your honesty 🎉 thanks so much.
i love your honest reviews omg there are a few of them that i’d been tempted to get!! but was not sure if they’re gonna be worth the price. thanks so much❤
You know I felt like I have been crazy for years because everybody is loving Hudas eyeshadow formula.
You just won a new subscriber ☺️love your hosnesty👏👏👏👏👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍
ME TOO
For lip balms, I like Laneige and Summer Friday’s because Glossier has lanolin which is a common allergen. Gives me welts. But before the welts, I just had peeling sore lips and couldn’t figure it out. Derm said it’s extremely common. So if your lip balm is making your lips worse, check the ingredient list.
Read the ingredients - and I'm sorry about your allergy.
Finally. Makeup forever lip pencils last 5minutes!!!
I didn't have anything like the Mario ethereal eyes in my collection and I love it!
A few women threw a fit over talc and now we all suffer! Thanks! Talc never hurt anyone.
Some people do have talc allergies so it is good to have options
That’s so funny, I really don’t like the summer Fridays lip balm and find it reeeaaallly drying but love the laneige
Same, I don’t get the hype. I also still like the Rosebud lip balm and the Ole Hendriksen one.
Sofia, I see trending videos about old forgotten favorites. Would you make one?❤
What do you think is a dupe for the serum?
Viseart is very good and it’s underrated.. love the cool matte & Paris nude palettes ❤
And they have 20-50% off sales regularly
Viseart just launched a gorgeous new palette that probably will be part of a black Friday sale.
I decided to skip the Huda palette and instead have been using ND INAN and Xenon together to get the same effect
@@kbt4906that sounds like a great combo
I passed on the first ethereal eyes palette because I don’t care for warm tones. What appeals to me about the newer edition really is the convenience and how compact it is for travel. My eyes look effortlessly pretty every time I use it and I was so afraid it would sell out like the last one I bought it before the sale. Looking back I wish I was patient enough to wait 😂. The Huda palette is a pass for me since it looks like I Need a Nude which I love and can’t wait to pull out more this winter. Great video!
@sophiaseesbeauty loved your format today, very helpful! Can you please comment on Pat McGrath eyeshadows? Mothership V?
Good to know about the mufe pencils. I purchased the set. Will be returning and trying again with something else
What are your thoughts on the makeup by Mario neutral palette, worth it or pass?
Love your honest reviews! I purchased and returned the MBM Ethereal Moonlight palette. The shadows creased on me, even with an eyelid primer. They ended up looking patchy on me. I much prefer Natasha Denona's palettes (debating whether to order her Roxa palette even though I don't usually reach for purple shadows).
Such a good video! For spring we need it the week before the sale! Thank you
FABULOUS VIDEO... more more more!
Dang I really love the Huda formula 😂
Andreea Ali hooked me on the MUFE Lip Liner and it’s the perfect color and consistency for me, big love 💗, you broke my heart 😂😅😂
Can you pls provide your opinion on the "Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Eyeshadow Palette"? It's not new but I'm not good at make up so the "tame" matte colors here seem safe, but curious to know if you have an opinion about the quality?
Your video will definitely help save time and money for anyone shopping the sale. Thanks for sharing your thoughtful recommendations! 🙂🙂
I've said this before, but all of these glowy gels are just pale imitators of the Becca shimmering skin perfectors. It's really unfortunate they went out of business, because so many of the popular formulas/styles are things they were doing 10+ years ago.
Amen Sister!! Loved the video!! So appreciative of your honesty! ❤️❤️❤️
I think the bum bum cream is worth it because of the scents, its the only lotion i've gotten a compliment on EVERY TIME I wear it.
Thank you. I put items in cart since first day of sale but didn’t want to spend the money but thought missing out. Thanks for reality check. I’m going to just get a lip combo and I’m more than thrilled. 😁
Hi new subscriber here ❤
I’m glad I found your channel.
For the same price, the Guerlain Kiss Kiss Bee lip oil is much better than Dior. Totally agree about the Bum Bum cream!! 🌴
Unfortunately, I didn't tolerate one of the ingredients in the oil, I can tolerate the Bee Bee lip balm, but I would like it without color because the (light) color stays over the lip if you don't apply it precisely.
Love your honesty and integrity!
As always, great advice. It is overwhelming, for sure. I love to buy at this sale for Christmas presents, so I love getting good advise. Thanks!🙏🏼👍🏼💕
This was a good information! Thank you!🙏
I thought really hard about the Huda beauty palette but the more I looked at reviews I realized I have the ND I need a nude and the midi xenon and I can actually get really similar shades from those to palettes together
Totally agree about Huda palettes. I just don’t understand the hype. I need to try that YSL palette. Gorgeous!
Totally in love with Make up by Mario Ethereal original and Moonlight. 😍
Agreed with you on everything but the Laneige - unfortunately its the only lip product that is currently still on the market that doesn't make my lips peel 😭 I'd gladly use a cheaper product but unfortunately it does work well for me :')
Same here la neige is my favourite have multi flavours.
Thanks again for this very good video, have a wonderful day!!!😘😘😘😘
Sofia I would like to know your comment on ABH eyeshadow palettes specifically the new ones
Thank you thank you thank you! I really appreciate your honesty.
Yessssssss THIS is the content we need, Sofia! Love this ❤
The makeup forever waterproof ones that are new- those I really like. They last way better.
I love this content... can you review the Dior couture pallet.. thank you...
Loved this video! Thank you for sharing your perspective. Would you please share the mascara you're wearing in this video 😊
I personally love some of these products 😅
I'm still living off my OLD Dior Backstage Pink Blush!! Don't tell anyone!! 😅😅😅❤
Spot on on all the products mentioned … ditto opinion of them 👏👏
Thank you!! We all needed this!
I bought the Barneys Hourglass palette and enjoy it, but I know it’s expensive. I love it and do use all of the shades.
Thanks for sharing the truth. I thought the same. I love Dior backstage palettes and I love YSL 100. I used a lot Tom ford 35 too. But I am so difficult to persuade myself to buy the New Huda and the new Makeup by Mario. 😅 you are so brave and honest my lady ❤Have a great day🎉
I purchased the new Mario palette - and I returned it. It wasn't what I expected. I purchased the Dior Soft Cashmere instead.
Thanks for the RMS code! used it 💄🥤
Yasss Girl👍🏻👍🏻Good call outs‼️
I do NOT support Huda at all‼️‼️
(I do NOT like their formula and dishonesty) L🤍ve Natasha D❣️
I didn't just like this video, I LOVED it. So good! I think the Tarte Shape Tape concealer should be rocketed into space, ha!
