Kackie if I can ask you and your wonderful viewers a question. I am in love with the muted red FENTY lipstick in the color HBIC. Only thing is the formula is horrible. I was trying to find the color in a different more comfortable lipstick 💄 but the closest I found at Sephora was Ma Biche by westman atelier. Can anyone give me some recommendations? 🙏🏽
Depending on how "muted" a red you're looking for (some pics of HBIC look kinda soft, some are a classic true bright garnet?) you might want to try Givenchy Le Rouge Deep Velvet in 37 Rouge Graine (this is hands-down my fave matte bullet formula), Dries Van Noten in Favorite Red matte (my second-fave matte bullet formula). Orrrr Nars PowerMatte in Vain, or Prada HyperMatte in Pompeii (haven't tried this formula, but sounds promising)?
Maybe LE 's Ashes of Roses. That is pretty neutral. I also just got Chantecaille's Acacia Lip Chic for $30. That one is weird, it's kind of bricky, kind of berry. I recommend googling swatches.
You are so right about ADHD and being cold, you nailed the issues that come with it and the inability to complete tasks. Its people like you talking about things like this and being so open that allows more acceptance, so thank you. ❤❤❤
I have ADHD & have a hard time with heat (especially humidity.) It drains my energy like nothing else. I love the cold, that could be that my small fiber neuropathy also calms down when it's colder so I'm not in as much pain.
I've been a sub for a long time, but something about the vulnerability of you saying "if you like my personality" like you were holding something precious out for the world to consider made me adore you all the more.
Lisa seems like such a top quality human being. So genuinely kind, considerate, positive without being saccharine, generous, funny, realistic, creative, happy for others, curious about the world, eager to learn and happy to share her expertise. I only want good things for her. (This turned into a maid of honor speech 😁)
Her appreciation for history and study of human nature. I'd rather buy her products if I have dollars to spend than ... say...certain CT products, honestly.
I love your videos and your extensive knowledge of color. I suffer from anxiety and depression, but your videos always pick me up. Keep doing you and your son is lucky to have such a fun-loving mom, even if you tire out from time to time.
Kackie- I’ve been trying to figure out how to approach and turn around my recently persistent malaise. I came here to watch one of my favorite creators put on makeup. I didn’t realize I would come away with such a humane, relatable, and valuable framework for building myself back up. Wow. Thank you. The makeup is beautiful too of course. ❤

Seconding all this! I also want to add a suggestion: read a book you've read before, or one you enjoyed when you were a teen. It's easier, and it's calming to the brain because you won't be surprised by what happens. I like to do this when I'm feeling really overwhelmed or burnt out.
Librarian here. Even I lose my reading joy once in a while. Lock down was particularly difficult, anxiety was at or near redline every moment. I retreated from my usual SF&F and nonfiction, into the land of Nora Roberts romance novels for about a year. She's a hack, it's the same plot in every book, just different lovers pairing up, but I needed the brainless escape. Go to your local library and ask one of the Librarians to help you. It's what we do!
@@valariebrown3768 that is great! I think that is the fun of a romance is you know it has to have a happy ending and the stakes are often low. Mysteries are also fun because the cases has to get solved
I completely understand what you are saying…..firstly I have cancer. I tell people I use all of myself to deal with cancer and I have very little else left to deal with anything else. The little things send me into a tailspin and yet on the surface I deal with cancer like a champ. But…..I need to run the sweeper, drive in the dark, etc….. those seemly less important things (everyday things) put my brain into over stimulation and panic. It sounds exactly what you are saying….just different….if that makes sense. Glad I’m not alone in these feelings. Love the vid!!! Thank you🫶🏻
love your reviews! and I CANNOT BELIEVE you did that flight turnaround and still showed up looking so fab at Lisa's event! that would definitely not be in my skill set...
Glad to see you! At 54..... very sick...and raising our adopted 5 yr old granddaughter....We've got this! You rest when you need, have fun all you can and remember to give yourself "self compassion and GRACE". THIS TO SHALL PASS!❤
The things you shared about your experience with ADHD and overloaded circuits resonated so strongly with me. I recently stepped back from my job a bit for the same reason (fortunately, I have an amazing boss). I appreciate your candor and vulnerability. You made me feel like I wasn't alone in this. I am new to your videos, but I haven't watched one yet that I didn't enjoy immensely on so many levels. Thank you for what you do! I wish you well in your recovery from overload.
I love that you have such a keen self awareness about media consumption, emotions and brain/body relationships -- I hope this catches on, it might be the only thing that can save us... from ourselves.
Kackie, you have quite literally saved my skin. I started using the FAB ultra repair cream after you said it worked for your perioral dermatitis and oh my!!!! My skin has never been better. Thank you!!!!
You put a term to what I’ve been feeling for ages. Adrenal fatigue perfectly describes what I’ve been feeling over the past month or so. I thought it was just SAD symptoms. Would love to hear an update once you’re feeling better 😘
I'm also curious if it's mixed with side effects OF the dosage increase. The tiredness is overwhelming. I'd love if it went away when the dose stabilizes.
I used to get depressed in SoCal simply when it got darker, now I live in a place with actual seasons, and I am right there with you. It's incredible how powerful these shifts are. I am glad you are pushing through. Love the look you created, and the Lisa Eldridge Skin Tint is my #1 also. Tried the Patrick Ta foundation because of you, and love it so much and will also skip the eyeshadow duos based on your review lol. You are a gem in every way. I am so happy you got to spend time with Lisa; I am sure she enjoys you and your passion/knowledge very very much.
Can't wait to see more of the new Lisa Eldridge lipsticks, they look incredible from what I've seen. Will definitely buy some Vieve now- I wouldn't have considered that brand before your videos.
GIRL - Pluto is finallyyyyy moving out of Capricorn where it's been since 2008. November 19th brings about a HUGE celestial shift for us cardinal signs - Aries, Cancer, Capricorn and Libra - breaking this intense 16-year cycle. As Pluto moves into Aquarius, we'll be stepping into a new era of transformation, truth and equality. We can breathe a sigh of relief after 16 dang years!
I would love a color analsys of the color «ashes of roses» or something along those lines from the new refillable lipsticks. It’s so hard to tell how pink it actually is from the photos, and you give such good info on the color things. (I am a very fair olive girly, and while I don’t mind pink, it’s so often just too pink)
I really appreciate your honesty on your struggles and the way you're working through them. We all need those words of understanding and encouragement to remind us we're not alone. There is always a way to the other side, if we are willing to start with the basics. Thank you for sharing! Now ..onto the makeup... It's gorgeous and you have inspired me to check out Vieve. I already have a serious girl crush on all things Lisa Eldridge so there's that 😊💄💄💄
You nailed exactly what I'm feeling and going through. My internals are an anxious filled, fried to total burn out, hot mess with crazy mood swings, and I'm just trying to find distraction to soothe my soul. Arrrrrgh. I needed this...thank you... I truly appreciate you for the awesome, strong arse woman you are💪🏼! And, what a gorgeous look! 💜💜💜🫂
That lipstick launch looked amazing. It was so cool to see so many people whose videos I watch there too. I met Lisa once at a pop-up shop launch, and we all had a chance to exchange a few words and get our picture taken with her. I treasure that photo. It's really good to see you using some Vieve products. I especially love the eye wands and sunset blush balm. I also have a face palette that I think is discontinued, but it is the best colour combo for me - a neutral pink and a peach blush, bronzer, and highlighter. I always take it travelling with me, as I do the eye wands. Must try more of the products, and I will look forward to your full face of Vieve video.
I just had a “ah ha!,” moment, listening to you… It makes so much sense as I’ve been feeling the same way. I found myself scrolling mindlessly thinking to myself. I don’t even like doing this… I’m not even watching an IG video all the way through. I do love reading and do it on and off… I think it’s time to pick up a book again and get back into meditation… Thank you for sharing it really true with me.
Your connection between the mind and body is so astute. You explain so much about life that I've experienced, but haven't been able to put into words. Thank you! (I can barely hear the leaf blower- but what is the point of those blowers anyway?)
Finally, someone raved about Lisa Eldridge. I have followed her since the beginning and I can't get enough of all of her creations! I am a bit jealous of your trip thow! ;)
I'm late watching this video, but commenting anyway! I relate to you RE: the leaf blowing neighbor on a deep, spiritual level. Also, I'm the only person in my home who doesn't suffer from occasional to semi-frequent life altering depression plus ADHD (I've got that sweet sweet anxiety, though) so hearing you talk about what's going on with you and what helps you get out of the cycle is really helping me understand what my family is going through currently Loved this review as always! I'm so excited to try the Lisa Eldridge lipstick!
Kind of random, but have you ever tried knitting? I started years ago because when I was in school for mech engineering it was A LOT of math and science and my brain loves that, but I was also a single mom at the time, working two jobs and it felt serious mental overload sometimes. I started knitting just to give my brain a creative break / outlet and I’ve never looked back. The rhythm of it can be sooooo mentally soothing. It doesn’t have to be knitting but hobbies are such underrated therapy. Find something you can fall in love with, something that’s just for you, and I really believe it will do wonders for your mental health. Anyway, I loved the video, as always. Hope you feel better soon and that the US doesn’t burn down. 🫠 ❤
lol so my mom owned a yarn store for almost ten years I think? I can definitely knit. I tighten the yarn more and more around my fingers and then they turn blue and then I notice a mistake way down on the project and my mom goes "you have to fix it!" And TINKS (backwards knits????) to get to the mistake and then puts me back where I was like a hot knife through butter and I'm like you clearly enjoy this. This brings you satisfaction. I will do...something that brings me satisfaction 😂 cause this ain't it.
@@kackieyou might have the same response to this, but how about crochet? I was also a frustrated knitter who ruined projects with bad tension as well as forgetting about projects for so long I’d have to start all over. I picked up some of those little crochet animal kits last winter and it was different enough from knitting that I could develop better habits, do just a few rows a day, and have a squishy little critter at the end. I saw a short from a crocheter that really resonated with me advocating these fun and fast projects (and staying away from big projects like blankets and granny squares) if you have ADHD.
Yay! I am so happy you were able to get to London even if it was only for a quick jaunt, and it fills my heart that they worked so hard to get you there. They lerrrrves you. ❤ Dude. Your Fitbit comment really resonated. All that data would not be a source of fun and gamification; it would be a source of anxiety, worry, and obligation... and one more fucking thing to manage (and fail at, and resent, and hate myself over, lather rinse repeat). As for adrenal fatigue, YES. Our brains/bodies aren't designed for constant stress. Screen-free days feel like a comforting, calming hug from the early 2000s. Thanks for being you-- you rock socks.
Oh my so much going on here! You are so talented and am just realizing this year that I actually have ADHD. It just hit me like a rock at 52 and I have never heard anyone explain it or feel the same. I feel less crazy now thank God! You are so fun to watch and learn from. Thank you for your integrity being so genuine with your reviews! ❤❤❤
I'm a big fan of my ADHD meds. Doctors kept putting me on Anti-depressants and I always felt stagnated and stuck. The last ones gave me heartburn. Thanks for the makeup. Thanks for the chats. I have one of the new Lisa Eldridge lipsticks. I love that it's mine and I don't wear lipstick all the time but I like that it's a little art object in my bag.
Hi, a bit of science from a nutritional therapist. 😊 Adrenal fatigue is related to long term over production of stress hormones (cortisol and adrenaline). I’ve had it. It’s terrible, and it takes a long time to recover from. Cortisol helps regulate our circadian rhythm along with many things. So imagine feeling completely depleted of energy (because cortisol gives us energy) but unable to sleep (because cortisol helps regulate circadian rhythm). Dopamine is produced in the brain (and also the gut). It’s primarily a neurotransmitter in the brain whereas adrenaline and cortisol are more primarily hormones within the body (vascular dilation, increasing blood sugar levels, etc).
I would love a video about you favorite glitters or alternatives to the Patrick ta duos. I would love some glitters for the holidays. Especially some one or two and done.
I absolutely love listening to you talk about ADHD! It's like we share a brain ...or at least were issued the same model. I also deleted Instagram and Facebook off my phone. Everything is too much rn and I'm tired.
The book Lets Pretend This Never Happened by Jenny Lawson is the most hilarious book ever! I have a very good feeling Kackie, you would LOVE IT! Audible!
I really appreciate your candor. I find walking in nature to be a good detox from over stimulation. The Japanese call it Forest Bathing. I lived in Germany where it is dark and gloomy regularly. I found getting out and having even a quick walk in the woods helped lift my mood and I enjoyed watching the seasonal changes in the woods and the color changes of nature. ❤
lliterally every time you mention a youtube account or podcast it's exactly what i listened to or watched the day before. it makes me believe i have good (if not lightly weird) taste :)
Telling that leaf blower to leaf you alone cracked me up. Leaf me alone is a stupid saying between me and my youngest daughter. Makeup looks gorgeous as usual and I’m obsessed with your eyebrows. You cost me $$$ everyone I watch🤗 It’s my dopamine fix
I got the Lisa Eldridge lip sticks and omg I tried them last night. I didn’t even know the event and or influencers where going to talk about the lipsticks. I’m in love with them and last night I even thought to my self that I could now just get rid of most of my other lip sticks.
Your reaction to cold weather is soooo interesting! I have the exact same thing but I don’t have ADHD, but some issue with my immune system but it is so hard to find a proper diagnosis for…
Living in the north (next to Lake Superior) can be tough in winter! I deal with autoimmune crud which intensifies when there's less vitamin D to be had. I need a week in Florida or some sunny beach for a week for a pick-me-up. My symptoms went away within two days on my last southern vacation! And the fight goes on! You've got this!
I can’t read fiction either! Reading for learning are a great dopamine hit for me…and you get the benefit of doing something hard while you are doing it. Tapping into depth is key for me when I am searching for something uplifting. Love you channel and real personality. Keep doing you. You are on the right track and making a difference!
I got Ashes of Roses and Simone and I am loving them both! My book recommendation: Your Brain on Art by Susan Magsamen and Ivy Ross. Also: Color: A Natural History of the Palette by Victoria Finlay
You’re such fun lady.I keep waching you and your comments with a big smile on my face.LE pink looks so nice on you this is what i’ll get for myself too .
You’re truly unique sweet Kackie. You’re so damn knowledgeable when it comes to skincare/cosmetics AND the formulas used to create them. A creative mad scientist. It’s obvious that you know so much about why products perform the way they do and you educate your viewers. Keep us informed on your adrenal overhaul. ❤
Sorry, I have a question... if you had to choose.. would you pick the YSL quads or the Surratt individuals shadows? I checked out Surratt's website for an eyelash curler & OMG!!! The shadows, the shadow souffle ( which you've recommended) & their blushes!!! THE COLORSSSSSS... ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
I would love for you to do a video on best makeup/color for the light gray you are wearing. I find myself buying a lot of that color but then struggling with makeup. I am a low contrast person like you but with blond hair.
TMI warning: I'm prepping for a colonoscopy right now and it's still less of a s*** show than life at this moment. Thank you for talking about it. And yes, our brains do get "overheated" and the only thing we can do at that point is give it time to cool down. Like when our skin is irritated, we just have to let it alone so it can heal. You are an awesome chick. Thank you for always being real and helping me get pretty, too! ❤
I’m also prepping for colonoscopy (because Scorpio season decided my insides were the thing to obliterate?) and I’m with you with somehow life being more messed up? And ditto, thank you sharing both the hard stuff and all your fun makeup chaos!
thank you for an honest review of the patrick ta shadows!!! such reviews are truly lacking at the moment, whereas putting blame on people who a) are critical of the price tag and b) try to review them honestly is extremely prevalent online
Thank you, thank you, thank you..for two things. I am ADHD and only found out now at 50. I laughed as I recognized the traits we share. But mostly...my anxiety was killing me as I waited for "some colour" of Lisa eldridge tinted moisturizer to fly across the world. You told me it was great, and I am here to say it's bloody wonderful, so thank you. (I can not believe I got the colour right!! Yay me)
Kackie I bought the YSL Kasbah spice quad on your rec and I LOVE IT!! You were so right, it's warm but it's not terrifyingly orange warm the way it looks in the photos
Love watching you. Thank you for all the info. I'm a light medium complection dior foundation stick 2.5 N is my perfect shade. Here is my ? No matter what eyeshadow I use it goes dark on me. I see people use peach eyeshadow and it looks beautiful I try the exact same it looks brownish. I have tried primers and correcting concealer still turns dark. Even tried white eyeshadow stick that helped a tiny bit. Any thoughts ?
Beautiful video, Kacki!🧡👏🏻 now I KNOW getting rid of TikTok was the right choice!😊 TH-cam is much more laid back, folks are more kind & we learn more than what a 30 sec video can toss at us!😉 Stay brave, strong & gorgeous!🥰❤️💄💋👑
Thank you for your honesty and sharing about the struggle. ❤ Makes it lighter for the rest of us. There is research that certain autoimmune conditions and both types of diabetes end up running through dopamine faster than normal as a chemical process, so you’re naturally going to be depleted. Unrelated, I’m super excited about picking up a Lisa Eldridge lipstick (hopefully soon). 🎉
Completely agree with the YSL quads lmao they are so lovely snag my first 2 during the Sephora sale and I am so happy with them. My Lisa Eldridge lipstick will be arriving today. I got Lisa and Ashes of something (forgot the name) and I’m so damn excited. Can’t wait for her to bring more shades like a cinnabar in these would be ideal.
Gorgeous lip color, can’t wait to see more of them on you! I can’t recall, have you reviewed Lisa’s new eye palette yet? Also would love to know what games you’re playing lately…
Yes! I did review it and the new liquids. I've been playing breath of the wild mostly and it's spooky like the inside of my brain. It really matches my energy.
Love BOTW, I feel like that's the only 'true' game I can hang with, otherwise it's Stardew Valley for me😅I will revisit your last LE review, that Fawn palette looked like it could produce something bedroom-eyes-brown adjacent...
The lightest olive shade is sold out every time I go to her website. I ended up getting the number 9 which is a neutral/olive shade for light to medium skin. It actually worked perfectly last night when I tried it. But as the winter Approaches I’ll need the one for fair skin. I kinda want to try the shade for true olive which is one shade up from what I got in her foundation just to see if it would work for me. I’d been wondering for a long time if I truly was an olive complexion but I finally started using neutral in the last few years. TH-cam beauty peps have taught me a lot. People always use to say I was warm but I actually lean towards the cool side of olive neutral. So crazy. Now I need to try Lisa Eldridge’s skin tint. I love my Fenty easy drop so I’m thinking I’ll love Lisa’s too.
I love Allies of skin i wish they would call me and ask me if i need restocked 😂 i actually just started using the brand 3 months ago and im in love. I haven't tried the GF serum yet but i think im gonna order it. Im in love with the Advanced Peptides. I love u 😂 ur hilarious you always put me in a good mood. Ooo and ur skin does look really good . Girl it's still 80 degrees here I'm so happy I dont live where it's freezing and grey outside.
Hey did you see danessa myricks came out with some desaturated earthy blush colors with some brighter adjusters in her little holiday pack? Could you review them pretty please? I think they're going to be great and want to hear your opinion! The name is "yummy skin 4 ever flushed lip and cheek set"
First off, love your channel and *you!* Now to my question: what brand and formula of mascara would you recommend for oily eyes? I have tried many brands/formulas but they end up weeping and coloring my lower under eye 🦝 the latest is Bobbi Brown's No Smudge mascara which is only a bit better at keeping raccoon eyes at bay, but am looking for something that will just stay *put* and not wander about. Any suggestions would be very appreciated, thank you!
I am paralyzed too when I’m cold. I even get that way in the summer in Texas because everyone has the air conditioning so high. If I’m cold I can’t get up and do anything! I can’t imagine living in an area that’s cold a lot. I would do nothing.
Those were so good. So creamy. These are scratchy. He's like "it's expensive because no fillers!" But then he's like gel based. But then they're so scratchy I'm like is it gel based? And then apparently it's molding for some people so maybe he needs more fillers in the way of preservatives. It's giving flop.
Oh and I went back a couple days later before ever trying her new lipstick and ordered a monogrammed lipstick case and ordered another three lipsticks lol, I got Ashes to roses which I think I’m going to fall in love with too. Already in love with Romy. I got the shade Lisa and Medici as well. So I’ll have a total of five shades from this line to start out with. lol so in love. They made my lips feed so hydrated and actually dare I say they fixed my dry lips. They are a keeper and I have a feeling I’ll need to buy replacements in the future which I’ve never done before with any brand.
The only thing I know of that you didn’t mention for SAD is a light therapy lamp. I found it truly made a difference in energy level. Just make sure you get one that is the right type of light and use it for the necessary amount, which isn’t very long. When I feel over stimulated by technology, I go old school, like pretend I’m in the 80s where tech was very limited and it was consumed at a certain time for a certain amount and then you had to go analog for the rest of your day. I remind myself that all this advanced tech was purposely designed to keep you attached and engaged, regardless of the benefit or harm it does you.
The leaf blowers currently drive me crazy every single day at my apartment complex and I work from home so it's just all day long sometimes. We can go crazy together

I love the chaos here sometimes. It’s how my brain works and makes me feel less crazy 🤪 😂
💜💜💜🫂
We've got this. We just have to remember how to be humans sometimes.
thank you for being the amazing person that you are Kackie! 🖤 your videos seriously have helped me so much!
Thank you so much 🥲
That lipstick launch looked amazing.
Love the makeup, but the conversation I needed.. Definitely love when you share this type stuff.❤
Also, I'm the only person in my home who doesn't suffer from occasional to semi-frequent life altering depression plus ADHD (I've got that sweet sweet anxiety, though) so hearing you talk about what's going on with you and what helps you get out of the cycle is really helping me understand what my family is going through currently
Loved this review as always! I'm so excited to try the Lisa Eldridge lipstick!
You explained the the hierarchy of needs in a way I’ve never understood before!! Thank you!!❤
Kind of random, but have you ever tried knitting?
❤
Well, I guess you already paint so maybe my advice means nothing? lol. Anyway, sending love!
lol so my mom owned a yarn store for almost ten years I think?
@ lol. TINK.
Yay! I am so happy you were able to get to London even if it was only for a quick jaunt, and it fills my heart that they worked so hard to get you there. They lerrrrves you. ❤
Dude.
Antidepressants helped me, but wow did the ADHD meds make the biggest positive change!
My girl always save the day♥️
Can we get terracotta blushes swatches party any time soon thoooo 👀 it’s a phase u knw..
Audible!
“I cannot game-ify my life” I love this and cannot relate more
KACKIE!!!!! PUUULLLEEEEAASE DO A FULL FACE IN VIEVE! I would encourage you to use VIEVE straight all over your lid. Just gorgeous!
Forest Bathing. That is so beautiful.
Your videos have been so much help to me post election week. 💙
The Pepsi comment killed me 😂❤️
lliterally every time you mention a youtube account or podcast it's exactly what i listened to or watched the day before. it makes me believe i have good (if not lightly weird) taste :)
It's a little pocket of a similar kind of humor I think (unhinged misfits) and, well, ADHD 😂
Oh my gawd…leaf blower tangent had me rolling! Thank you! 😂💙🤣
Thank you for sharing your journey, Kackie. This helps me understand a member of my extended family better.
And the blush is divine on you!
Your reaction to cold weather is soooo interesting! I have the exact same thing but I don’t have ADHD, but some issue with my immune system but it is so hard to find a proper diagnosis for…
That LE lipstick looks phenomenal on you. Wow wow wow 😍
Most CLASSICS are fiction & certainly worth the EFFORT, brian power required
Kackie, you have just enlightened to me how I'm feeling! I couldnt articulate it but you did it brilliantly ❤
I got Ashes of Roses and Simone and I am loving them both!
My book recommendation: Your Brain on Art by Susan Magsamen and Ivy Ross.
Also: Color: A Natural History of the Palette by Victoria Finlay
Aw thank you!
@ I hope you enjoy them!
I kept seeing you in the background of other people's Lisa videos and was hoping you would talk about it too 😂🖤
You’re such fun lady.I keep waching you and your comments with a big smile on my face.LE pink looks so nice on you this is what i’ll get for myself too .
Tanja you're just the best 🥹
😊
Sorry, I have a question... if you had to choose.. would you pick the YSL quads or the Surratt individuals shadows? I checked out Surratt's website for an eyelash curler & OMG!!! The shadows, the shadow souffle ( which you've recommended) & their blushes!!! THE COLORSSSSSS... ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️
I like the YSL better but I wouldn't kick Surratt out of bed
@kackie oh lawd... both!😂😂
I appreciate your authenticity more than you know!
Welcome to the Universe if Kackie!!!😮❤❤❤
So true about the skin comparison! My brains moisture barrier is a wreck! 😅 good luck with the colonoscopy!
I’m also prepping for colonoscopy (because Scorpio season decided my insides were the thing to obliterate?) and I’m with you with somehow life being more messed up? And ditto, thank you sharing both the hard stuff and all your fun makeup chaos!
LOL, I think my brain barrier is too permeable on many different levels! @@kackie
@@elissae3280I know, right? It feels fitting.
OMG - great minds - I did my prep last Tues, so no wine or snacks while watching election returns. But all went well on Wednesday!
thank you for an honest review of the patrick ta shadows!!! such reviews are truly lacking at the moment, whereas putting blame on people who a) are critical of the price tag and b) try to review them honestly is extremely prevalent online
Yay me)
I'm so glad 🥹
Kackie I bought the YSL Kasbah spice quad on your rec and I LOVE IT!! You were so right, it's warm but it's not terrifyingly orange warm the way it looks in the photos
do I get this orrrr the vieve palette? (asking both you and @kackie and everyone lol)
Omg. I never understood how to explain my suffering when I’m cold before. Your experience is so relatable
😂😂😂😂😂 love the leaf blower rage
Beautiful video, Kacki!🧡👏🏻 now I KNOW getting rid of TikTok was the right choice!😊 TH-cam is much more laid back, folks are more kind & we learn more than what a 30 sec video can toss at us!😉 Stay brave, strong & gorgeous!🥰❤️💄💋👑
Thank you! And omg have you watched Chad Chad's video on TikTok self care 😳 no wonder people are running back to TH-cam
@kackie no mam, but I'll check it out!! ASAP!👀 btw, I saw you're a Tallahassee gal... I grew up in Marianna... not far from you!😁
Thank you for your honesty and sharing about the struggle. 🎉
Also, old but useful book rec: Future Shock by Toffler.
Does anyone know what Kackie used in her brows ? They look so good 😮
probably, Kosas....that is her go-to.💙
It's the Merit!
@@kackieohhh love it !!
How likely are you to incorporate Normotim into your wellness routine?
AYO makes light therapy glasses. I use them for my SADs and it helps! ❤❤
🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 the LE Rouge lipstick in SIMONE is my new favorite!!! And her Skin Tint is my new favorite foundation!!! I need more LE LOL!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍
Same with me fitbit… i felt controlled and exhausted…. And didnt work out more 😂
The lightest olive shade is sold out every time I go to her website.
My first two lipsticks are Aubrey and Romy and when you mix the two colors it’s so beautiful.
Hey did you see danessa myricks came out with some desaturated earthy blush colors with some brighter adjusters in her little holiday pack? Could you review them pretty please? I think they're going to be great and want to hear your opinion! The name is "yummy skin 4 ever flushed lip and cheek set"
Thanks for telling me! I had no idea!
FOR THE RECORD its better for lawns and beds to leave the leaves 🍁🍂
First off, love your channel and *you!* Now to my question: what brand and formula of mascara would you recommend for oily eyes? I have tried many brands/formulas but they end up weeping and coloring my lower under eye 🦝 the latest is Bobbi Brown's No Smudge mascara which is only a bit better at keeping raccoon eyes at bay, but am looking for something that will just stay *put* and not wander about. Any suggestions would be very appreciated, thank you!
Hi! Absolutely love how you articulate your thoughts and reviews! Do you have a thrive discount code? Your link was not working. XO
I am paralyzed too when I’m cold. I even get that way in the summer in Texas because everyone has the air conditioning so high. If I’m cold I can’t get up and do anything! I can’t imagine living in an area that’s cold a lot. I would do nothing.
This reminded me of Stolen Focus by Johann Hari and Digital Minimalism by Cal Newport. Also available as audio book on my library app.
Something about the Patrick Ta shadows remind me of the MAC pigments, or the OG L’Oréal infallible eyeshadows that everyone used to be smitten with
Those were so good. So creamy. These are scratchy. He's like "it's expensive because no fillers!" But then he's like gel based. But then they're so scratchy I'm like is it gel based? And then apparently it's molding for some people so maybe he needs more fillers in the way of preservatives. It's giving flop.
@ omg scratchy eye products make my skin crawl, nope, no thanks, pass
I have the same feel on reading like you, sounds like homework/task.
Perfect description of the bisou balm. It has staying power of about 5 seconds for me.
I love that lipstick color on you!
Had to pause this video to go see Allie’s new launch. Can’t wait to see your review on it!
Omg...is that why I can't function when I'm cold..I need to look into this!
The cold weather is very offensive lol and also hilarious to see how the weather affects everyone's productivity in an office setting
😂
