- Other than that her birth name was Mireille Pagès, I know nothing about French singer Pascale Concorde whose recording history appears to only span the years of 1968-70 according to the two main Internet databases I regularly use. Both highlight two labels for her - Barclay and CM Records. For Barclay she released an album, two EPs and a single and for CM Records a further two singles.
Her self-titled album is of interest since it included the track "Le Jour Est Venu", a French adaptation of the Les Reed and Barry Mason song "It's Your Day Today", English versions of which had been recorded by P.J.Proby, Slim Whitman and Jimmy Young. French lyrics had been provided by Pierre Delanoë, who had previously performed a similar task with Les and Barry's "Kiss Me Goodbye" for Petula Clark, and written the original words to Gilbert Becaud's global hit "Et Mantenant".
