Hi, OpenNest packs 2D polylines, if you have curves, you need to convert to low poly polygons and then transform curves based the result. You have two options: 1) Follow the solution here: discourse.mcneel.com/t/opennest-rhino-freeze/118218/7 2) Download from www.food4rhino.com/app/opennest OpenNest (the most top version) and check the example file with curves. If you cannot solve the issue yourself, post the file in McNeel forum under category OpenNest, where we could give a more detail support based on your study case.
You can now download a new version of OpenNest 1.3.3 with added text font option and a simple box packing. Download at: www.food4rhino.com/app/opennest
There is an option to nest another degree of curves besides degree 1? thanks

Just tried this in the trial version of Rhino 8 and it works!
WHY ARE THESE TUTORIALS NOT VIRAL LIKE THE OTHERS?
You are welcome to share the tutorials ;)
Great! Thanks!
does this work with text dots?
Yes, I have just tested and it works.
TextDot is also just another rhino object that is referenced as GUID.
