Due to the stringent requirements for qualifying for Aid and Attendance, including income limitations and medical evidence demonstrating significant care needs, a substantial number of initial applications are denied. Most indicators of need for assistance (eg, home health utilization, dementia, stroke) were associated with significantly higher probabilities of receiving A&A.
All you should have to know is who your local vso is. Haven't gone to the VA for years and had no idea there was a regional office I know there is no patient manual and there's no patient rights Policy for lack of better word. Unfortunately some things of essos are not allowed to talk about like the shortcomings in travel pay an assistance. Etc
Yes, retirement income received is countable income. Annual income for VA purposes is the money earned in a year from a job or from retirement or annuity payments.
My father was a WWll vet he was financially well off he has never been in the va system when, I placed him in the Va system the minute they saw his finances they cut his services and appointments , no I’m not making this up I work for the va, even though he used his hmo to pay for services way to go va
Notice the laughter: because this is so complicated with so many hoops; it's a joke. If the govt was serious about helping vets we wouldn't need "help' and it wouldn't take "months and months" and wouldn't be "hidden" in the first place.
You suck worse! Just say what was missed instead of shouting from nowhere land. He had alot of good information. Act like a Veteran and have some respect! Happy Thanksgiving🎉
Easy to say you are qualified but actually getting approve the "benefit" is totally different story. And you have to apply every year. Hope the new guy President Trump pointed get these bs policies fix.

The "benefits" are hidden for a reason. Such as they don't exist.
Everyone has a different story
Shame you have to be in a certain date that evolves around war time
Your doing a huge disservice to veterans. Your not even close on a lot of your talking points
