      My pleasure, hopefully a future production will include some archival footage, including scenes of the powerhouse etc.

    Thank you - there's some very valuable footage there. Any idea of the age of the powerhouse? It's an attractive building.

    7:23 Good thing you were at a distance, those kangaroos might've been a bit angry...... "hopping" mad! LOL

      The kangaroos are generally fine, though there is one huge male kangaroo amongst them. You've got to watch them certainly

    5:07 That looks like a narrow-gauge miniature rail track running through the centre of this image.

    • @australiasindustrialage689
      @australiasindustrialage689  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes there is a 5" gauge system in the area

      @@australiasindustrialage689 Yeah, later in the video you showed the miniature railway, that's what triggered my interest in visiting the place. Sadly though, the Walka Waterworks are closed until further notice due to asbestos being found on-site around the buildings and possibly elsewhere in the surrounding park.

      @@neilforbes416 that area was restored back in the 1980's

    There's a reason why the railway was "miniature", it had been left far too long in the wash cycle and *shrunk!* LOL😁

    Another interesting video.
    Look forward to future Hunter coal ones.

    As tip to your editing, don't use labels that blur the scene. All of your labels do this in the bottom third of the screen. Why not use labels that just show the words yet don't interfere with the scene as this detracts from the viewer seeing the whole shot.

    T and digesthe scenes are too fast to read dialogue and digest.

    Not very interesting. Your labels/notations are displayed too short especially the longer ones. Most of the scenes are meaningless to anyone who hasn;t been there.

      Well thanks for your feedback, I didn't have a great camera when I took the image and the software is old, I'm hoping to re-do in the future, this sort of feedback will help make a better video
