  • After the thrill of a new track in Poland for round two of the 2024 series, riders now return to the well-known venue of Leogang, Austria, for more high-speed excitement.
Round two featured standout performances from Marine Cabirou and Ronan Dunne, both achieving top placements. Heather Wilson and Asa Vermette maintained their perfect seasons with consecutive victories. While many riders have been concentrating on training since Poland, a select few, including some World Cup athletes, competed at Red Bull Hardline in Wales last weekend. Ronan Dunne continued his impressive form, adding another first-place finish to his wins at Hardline Tasmania and his inaugural World Cup victory.
Nina Hoffmann's season, however, faces uncertainty after she disclosed a dislocated elbow injury sustained after the second round in Poland. Currently ranked fourth in the women's overall standings, Hoffmann might miss crucial points with the top spots closely contested.
Prepare for an exhilarating weekend of racing in Austria and keep reading for more information to get ready for the third round of downhill racing.

Pinkbike content has been weirdly behind the curve lately. The Hardline stuff especially. Yours and others channels do an amazing job of keeping us informed and feeling involved which is great 👊🏼

This is excellent - need coverage like this in the build up and aftermath.
I think it’s Bruni, Kolb, Dunne for first - third place

Great to hear it from you Dean, with such great experience on the circuit.
Good predictions. Erice VL could win I reckon, she wants it bad and is very capable.

Nina's injury is at the elbow. Other than that great overview. This podcast is my onetogo for the preview and post race. Are you guys going to do a race comentary with Frotha?

Tracks need to change, it's a shame they don't change too much. There is so much opportunity at the normal venues to change it up, but there doesn't seem the desire or creativity to change it up. It doesn't take much to significantly change the way a section rides.

Well we are back on a track some have raced world cups on many many times. It's a marginal gain in a sport won by marginal gains. Not sure the young guns have the same level playing field as Poland.

I feel like ronan is gonna crash this or next race. Even though he seems very composed I think he'll get too hyped an be to close to the edge.
