Laurel... that's probably because homeowner(s) don't have KIDS... lol... That's how CLEAN our house looked before we started having kids. Once they arrived, it has never been the same; our whole house carpets are stained with their drinks and food, writing on the wall here and there with permanent markers, their food crumbs everywhere around the house under the table couch, sofa, bed, etc. No matter how hard we try to keep our house clean within 10 minutes they will mess it all up. lol...

We had to have our sheets off the bed early Saturday morning. They were washed and hung out to dry. After they were put back in our room along with any clothes we had to make our bed and of course put all clothes away. No toys or eating in the living room. No eating in the bedroom either. I think back then (late 60's early 70's) we didn't have a lot of stuff. No computers, 1 tv, a few toys that were always in out bedroom and put away unless we playing with them. We also had a Marine Corps drill instructor father who thought we were mini recruits and inspected our rooms with a white glove.

Yep totally, I live in the bush and my toilet is outside in winter it’s cold but in summer (now) it’s ok, also I grew up in a house with only an outside toilet so it’s not too bad. But I do enjoy friend’s inside loo’s when I house sit. 😂

Dog’s usually only get separation anxiety in the first 20-30 minutes when you leave, the best thing is a toy that has treats in it, that will take them a little while to get out. This dog doesn’t have that as they wouldn’t be lying down, they would be pacing back and forward and not being able to settle. Beagles just howl a lot. They also don’t process time like humans, so if they are playing or fall asleep they don’t know if it’s been 5hrs or 5 mins,Thankfully.

Dog’s usually only get separation anxiety in the first 20-30 minutes when you leave, the best thing is a toy that has treats in it, that will take them a little while to get out. This dog doesn’t have that as they wouldn’t be lying down, they would be pacing back and forward and not being able to settle. Beagles just howl a lot. They also don’t process time like humans, so if they are playing or fall asleep they don’t know if it’s been 5hrs or 5 mins,Thankfully.

you don't know that, this is as much an overreaction as the dog. my dog will be pet for 10 minutes after a long walk and as soon as I focus my attention back on work she starts to cry. do you have a dog?
