    I’ve been struggling to find a lightweight bag to carry all my hiking, camping, and photography gear. The weight of all my gear adds up to near the airline limit so every pound of weight is extremely valuable but also wanted a quality bag. Seems like this is a niche need in the luggage market and my search has been a struggle, but this bag seems to strike that perfect balance. Thank you so much for walking through all the specs especially since website specs can be inaccurate. Those specs have been so important in my search. Great review, and might have to check out your hiking or eclipse book! Cheers!

    Thanks for your review, Aaron. I own this bag because United Airlines damaged a suitcase of mine and replaced it with this one. I will be traveling to London and Paris in December (flying Virgin Atlantic going but returning from Paris on Virgin Atlantic operated by Delta). Since it's going to be cold i figured I would need heavier clothing and it made sense to me to travel with a 29" rather than a 25" suitcase i own... but seeing the comment below that it exceeds the dimensions I'm concerned. I guess i'll have to give the airline a call.

      I've flown with the 29" model many times. It's the 50 pound (33kg) weight limit they're after. I've yet (knock on wood) to have an issue with dimensions.

    Thank you for the review I just got this bag yesterday. I was concerned when I realized there is no structure support in the corners - so I’m worried about it’s longevity (underrating if cuts weight). I’m also hesitant with single wheels instead of double wheels for each roller.
    How is yours holding up?

    Would you get charged extra to fly with this bag?

    • @ALinsdau
      @ALinsdau  26 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Since it's a checked bag, as long as it's under your airline's weight limit, it "shouldn't" be more expensive to check than any other bag.

    This suitcase exceeds the dimensions for checked bags with delta. yikes.

      Your comment was posted a year ago. 5 months ago, I flew on delta with same suitcase to London. So I would say thats a false statement or there was a change in policy.
