VANG VIENG, LAOS | Ultimate Hike Guide! Best Mountain Viewpoints & Top Tips

We LOVED our time in Vang Vieng. Not least because it was the perfect place to get out into nature and explore what this beautiful region has to offer. We dusted off our trainers and climbed the main peaks and wow!! Not only did they get our hearts racing but the surprises at the top were lots of fun including a Pegasus, a Plane & a Motorbike (amongst others). What an experience and definitely worth the excessive sweating! Although maybe not the dengue fever which Ewan contracted a few days later thanks to one of the hikes being home to an immense amount of mosquitoes 🙈we share which one in this video so don’t make the same mistakes we did and cover up!

I think most of them open around 6am but best to double check before going. The earlier the better if you’re going during peak heat season.
