corporate tax rate does not have a material impact on workers employment or pay. When trump lowered the tax rate, companies used those after tax incomes to buy back stock and increase executive pay.
This is basically Fable 3's good or bad options when you're the king. Take money from people to have a better chance at survival or make the people happy but at the cost of massive losses.
Let's look at the fact that taxing income is both immoral and uneconomic. I would abolish all taxes on income of any kind and go to a straight consumption tax much like the Fair Tax.
I can't exactly say but I feel like you guys are missing a lot of information when you came to your conclusions. However I do have a couple of critiques of your critiques. So when it comes to kamala's tax plan and what would make hers more beneficial is what you said makes Trump's tax plan barely beneficial. Another thing to note is even though tarrifs would brinh prices a bit higher with certain imported goods their is a lot of incentive to invest in development and production in the United States based on Trump's tax plan which you seemed to have either over looked or ignored. I can't say if that's the case but it is a very overlooked aspect of the economy evolving. I know I'm not addressing everything in great detail but this is just what came to mind listening.
I would have liked to see a comment on the incentives of domestic production with the hiked import duties. I'm in favor of bringing back production to the US, but I don't personally feel qualified enough to form a full opinion on his plan of raising taxes on imported "American" products.
