      My critical thinking tells me he sounds more like a cunning, manipulative, highly trained KJB Operative. 1) If he actually knew his Jewish ancestry, he’d know that Moses was the original “Woke” Social Justice Warrior who led the Jews out of Egypt and the reign of a Tyrant (aka Dictator), the evil Pharaoh, rescuing them from over 400 years of Slavery…building all those Pyramids still existing today; 2) that before the fall of the Greek and Roman Empires, we’re the fallen Democratic governments of the Babylonian and Persian Empires…as per the book of Daniel in one of the Jew’s 3 Holy Books, and the Old Testament (same 3 Books) found in the Bible. 3) Further, if Konstantin Kisin loved his purported relatives in Ukraine, why doesn’t he support them in their fight for their freedom of Democracy against Russia?
      His story is loaded with a narrative that would happily please Putin, thus questionable at best. But, of course, without a better understanding of Judaism and what Ukrainians are fighting for, you’re critical thinking skills are sorely lacking. Typical of Trump supporters. He took an Oath, swearing on the Bible, to protect and defend the Constitution, when in fact, he intends to shred it, as one of his efforts to overthrow our Democracy in favor of a FEAR MONGERING Fascist Dictatorship…just like Hitler. Psychopaths are Pathological Liars, Superficially Charming, and Irresponsible Blame Shifters….just to name but a few of the 20 Traits of a Psychopath.
      Would you like some Bible verses accurately depicting Trump, both OT and NT? Just ask, and I’ll provide a few. One can’t really have critical thinking skills without the Bible…a true book of Logic. Males prefer Logic over Emotions, yet most don’t even know the Source of Logic. So they get sucked into a vortex like Trump, like the Tornado or Dust Devil he is….all the while merrily, yet unknowingly, spiraling out of control, leaving a wake of destruction behind. Like the death in Charlottesville, VA….the Grossly Negligent handling of Covid….the BLM Riots stoked by never ending Racism, much provoked by Racist Trump, as was, of course, the J6 Insurrection, leaving 5 or 6 dead, and 150 Law Enforcement Officers injured. Ya, the self-proclaiming “Law & Order President” provoked all this death and destruction. Truly a man of VIOLENCE. Pray tell, why do some men pay big bucks to watch other men beat each other to a bloody pulp in a boxing ring?
      “Blessed are the Peacemakers….” ~ Jesus, in His first sermon, the Sermon on the Mount, beginning with the Beatitudes, the series of phases in the Christian walk. Trump hasn’t even taken the first step, for he doesn’t not acknowledge his Brokeness. The word “blessed” means “happy.” Google it. Trump is a miserably unhappy man who gets his kicks out of hurting others. That’s what makes him happy, which is a sickness. Boxing fits his narrative.

      Kisin's theory sounds sexy but I'm not buying that the Russian propaganda machine destabilised the entire west. We used to say awful stuff about each other in the 60's 70's and 80's. 1971 to 2022 was the most peaceful period in the history of man, Apartheid ended in South Africa the Berlin wall came down, we fixed the hole in the ozone and across the globe people became more socially conscious. The west got to a place where it had evolved enough that it could contemplate what a kinder world looked like for future generations. So feminism progressed, then PC and woke were a natural progression. I agree that the woke pendulum has swung too far. It always does in social change, ask anyone that remembers the 60's. The thing about pendulums is they find their balance. The sky is not going to fall down, the west is not going to come to an end.

His underlying point, that there is a section of the right whose brains are so broken by Western history that they turn against the West, like the woke left, is absolutely true. What you call those people is up for debate, but they clearly exist. Tucker Carlson is basically there. Candace Owens is in there so deep it's startling how she managed to come across as a mainstream conservative for so long.

However, I think both men, whether they agree or not with each other, care about truth and bettering society. I would caution you to consider that the the non-Progressives of the world shouldn't eat each other over small matters. There's a bigger picture that's much more important right now. Take care.

      That's not what the constitution says:
      "We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
      See how there's elements of collectivism in there? See how justice, domestic tranquility, common defense, and general welfare are mentioned? Where is capitalism mentioned? It's not. Freedom is mentioned, but not "individualism".. whatever that is. Everything about the constitution smacks of unity and "collectivism", not corporatism. Besides you can't have private or individual anything without "collectivism". And what the hell is that anyway? Step away from the TV and social media. They're turning your brain to mush.

      I’m glad that you recognize this explanation but why did it take so long?     This interview gave me a different perspective on British Foreign Secretary David Lammy's recent speech at the UN, in which he proclaimed that he was "speaking as a black man." The Russian ambassador was poker faced, but inside he must have been thinking, "Our demoralisation policies have borne fruit. Thank you for confirming, Lammy, you useful idiot!"

    constantin is a voice of reason.
    no matter what you think, the most critical thing we can all do is stop thinking of those we disagree with as being ill motivated or an enemy. united we stand, divided we fall, and division is exactly what he was talking about. we have so much more in common, and we need to keep reaching for the middle ground through mutual respect and compromise and keep in mind that we all benefit from some measure of unity.

    Well, I'm one of those people who believe that the truth is, in fact, nuanced. It would be great to explore that with people who are similarly disposed. In my personal life though, every one I know, almost without exception, has tribalized. Rather than having interesting conversations, like I used to have decades ago, now I am reduced to watching balanced podcasts and mumbling to myself. Even attempting to have meaningful conversation has cost me relationships. It's not a world anymore for thinkers.

      Thank you for your post. I am experiencing the same with my family and friends, the people I love. Most of them cannot sustain any meaningful conversation. If I express any difference of opinion, they immediately assign me to the enemy tribe, and that means the end of any conversation, and meaningful discussion.

      That is so true. I cannot even say word one to my family, who I am a polar opposite politically as number one, their minds are completely closed to any alternative view and number two, it would be a complete shitshow and I would be attacked for it.     What he's not talking about is that in 2014, Russia annexed Crimea in response to the US-sponsored coup which overthrew a democratically elected president in Ukraine. And overwhelming majority of Crimeans prefer to be with Russia.

      Yep, it’s a shame, Konstantin is usually very clear sighted, but perhaps he’s too close to this issue. He’s not alone though. Ukraine reneging on the Minsk Accords sealed their fate. It’s now a matter of accepting that Russia have annexed the Eastern Provinces and that NATO isn’t an option for the remainder. Terms will be determined by Russia.

      The problem with any country or region that has different people living on the same land mass is that eventually a split will happen….borders are never permanent, they ebb and flow as people migrate and time passes. In Ukraine, some people would rather align with Russia, and others Europe….its the same the world over…..

When the CEO's of these companies finally admitted to these claims with regret... No one blinked an eye in the legacy eye nor apologized. They said Trump was working with Russia and Putin to sow discord... that also turned out to be false... and no apology or statement of correction was made. The wealth both neocons and dinos have accumulated as career politicians (masquerading as public servants) is staggering...Under Trump, we were told WWIII was on the cusp if he were re-elected... despite Trump not creating new wars or fighting any by proxy. We've already got 2 under Biden-Or whoever is running the country (wars by proxy - one of which now has US Servicemen with boots on the battlefield) and we have never been closer to WWIII than we are right now... and that is THEIR fault. It's not Trump's. Funding the Ukrainian War would make sense if they could account for the money, but most of it is unaccounted for... yet we still keep writing check after check after check. Is Trump perfect? No... but we don't need a morally spotless leader... We need a leader that will demand action that improves our lives FIRST.

      It's a junk word, it's slang, it can mean a lot of things depending on the person using it and how it's used. In this case I had no problem understanding the meaning, they even go into explanations of what their talking about. It gained widespread use beginning in 2014 as part of the Black Lives Matter movement. By the end of that same decade it was also being applied by some as a general pejorative for anyone who is or appears to be politically left-leaning. That's when the right-wingnut faction of our nation made it "junk" word as you call it.

BLM may have kick started it being used again, but soon was adapted by anyone fighting social injustice. Like anything that gets blown out of proportion it starts to become unrealistic and loses it's original purpose, that brings us to now. So in cases like this where people are saying the woke virus, they are just referring to the unrealistic version that many are pushing for in society today. It don't mean people are unaware of it's original meaning, it just means they are aware it's gotten out of hand.
