Good info. I found that it took a day or two of occasionally hitting it with heat and applying pressure on my Pixel 6 Pro. I ended up only using the bottom half of the back, for aesthetic reasons, but it looks like it was manufactured this way.
Yes, but at your own risk. dbrand Leather Balm was developed with 95% natural beeswax and 5% cocoa butter, validated for use specifically with our grade of full grain, vegetable tanned leather.

Would've been useful information to have back when I installed mine - a full week and a half ago. Instead, it was essentially installed, following the /how instructions as a normal skin and is now peeling. Good job dbrand!
@@austindotwav Yep, that's what I thought. That and the fact there wasn't a dedicated video to it gave me enough confidence to just go ahead and apply. And boy did I mess that one up.
No. You're thinking of chrome tanned leather. Far more resistant to elements like water, but also doesn't develop a rich patina (or any patina at all) the way vegetable tanned leather does.

Hey Guys! Can you please help me! Ive got the Black Leather top skin for the Macbook. I was trying to Patina the leather with your wax, however, as the surface area was too big, the wax kept drying down while applying the coat. Now my skin is covered with a lot of fingerprints. What can i do to get rid of them?
We need custom option! I want cognac➡️ Matt black ➡️ black leather on my pixel 6pro! However, the adhesive is too weak for pixel that heats up all the time.
Dbrand sold out of the leather skins. Hopefully Samsung, One Plus and Google begin making leather options available like the Chinese brands Oppo, Huawei and Xiaomi. Enough with these slippery glass backs already!

Hey @dbrand got my skin today, I absolutely love it. And thanks for the little drawing cool idea :)
So.... how did you apply your new skin on your body?

all you have to do is add heat
This process is the exact same for every skin dude

You can use mink oil to add a little water resistance but will darken it a bit

Hello dbrand, can you suggest some way to clean your leather? I like patina development, but in some places it is gotten a little too dark/dirty

How do you keep it smelling like leather?
Great
Can I still use a case with this or is it too THICC?
Too thick, all their other skins will work, just not the leather drop
How to patina leather: *just wait* lmao
dbrand, what if I like the current look of the Tan skin and don't want it to patine that much but still want it to remain in great condition?
Then you would want a leather pattern vinyl sticker.
Don't even bother buying leather then. That is its nature
Umm dbrand.. you forgot to say “To secure the skin in place.”
Can I eat the leather balm?
If I had known that the leather was considerably thicker prior to purchase, i wouldn't have purchase it.

not "dbrand"
Of course my phone just had to be the first device to sell out :(
