exactly. that is one of the purposes of the item. that is the natural quality of leather. we need to have an idea of items before we review them. the skins are what they should be.
I think the whole point of having the leather is that you want the patina but, of course, it's about how it matures over time. Even that blemish it came with might add ti it over time. If you don't want the patina, you may as well get a vinyl leather-look skin. My issue is that you only get protection for the lid and to my mind, that's no protection at all. I was all set to get one of these but I can't see the point of a leather sticker for just the lid. You'd have thought they'd give you some vinyl skins for the rest of the laptop, if they can't do it all in leather.
I agree. I'm going to see how the patina matures over time and will do a before and after photo on my IG in some months time to show progress of it. I also thought I'd get some protection for the bottom part too, but it's just for the lid which is unfortunate tbh. But I totally agree with your feedback!
the scratchy looks fine on leather is the whole point. if you want a plain uniform color you never buy anything made of actual leather. that is what make leather pieces each look different
yeah dBrand also mention patina process on their product page, but it all depends how long it takes to get to a point through that process where it starts to look good again. I have a feeling that to go through the process, you'll have to go through a long period where it looks very scratchy.
No bottom unfortunately - only top, which is disappointing but expected because the fan dissipation happens at the bottom of the laptop and if its blocked by a thick leather skin, it could cause the Macbook to overheat.
that's the beauty. it's called patina. you develop patina on leather, which comes from wear and marks. it's like art to some.

this guy leathers.
Lol it's leather what did you expect. It' obviously going to have marks on it.
bro never experienced leather 😂
That’s part of the beauty of leather isn’t it supposed to scratch and increase in character?
Yea hes absolutely mental

Your gods can be reduced to leather accessories??

From the guys on reddit, they mention the imperfections going away through the patina process? I just bought one from Dbrand with the leather balm

You didn't get the leather balm?
Where's the Update?
I’ve ordered the dbrand - monogram for midnight air m3
we both have the same laptop lol
Why would you order a leather skin that is suppose to get scratched and aged naturally by use and cry about it? That’s literally the point.
leather has natural imperfections, it is skin after all.
Won't this make your macbook overheat?
No, it’s just on the top part
Thats why they only provide it for the top lid, and not the bottom
@@TrendingReviews yo bro, took my answer smh
Does it come with the bottom?

Interesting, I thought the fans wouldn’t be covered. Wish I could order the matte black bottom with it or something 😊
