Congrats on finally playing with your sewing machine. I still refer to my sewing machine’s instruction manual occasionally. Make sure you buy the correct bobbins for your machine, the manual should tell you which ones. Buy extra needles, “Universal” would be best for you. I buy mine at Fabricland - whatever sewing or fabric store is near you will sell them. Don’t get discouraged and try out the buttonhole foot sometime, it’s fun. 😘
Thanks doll. I'm going to try my luck with Amazon and if I don't have luck there I'll go to Fabricville. It is clear across town so don't want to go if I don't have to :) Thanks for all the information! I may pester you with questions :).
Thanks for the review, Bobbi-Jo. When I get a place where I can set up a craft room, I plan on getting a sewing machine. So it was great to hear your review. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the review! I found this machine for $50 on marketplace… I’ve never seen a day in my life. Do you think it’s worth it to buy? Can you sew simple clothes with this? Thank you!!
Class 15, standard sewing machine needles, available at WalMart, JoAnns, even seen them at the grocery store. #80 or 90 for most light to medium weight non-coated fabrics. 80/90 sharps for quilt weight wovens, knits take a more rounded point needle like universal.
