Sagi Vans I completely understand that a biker stands no chance against a heavy car. Therefore I can understand why he would run the first red light (even though I think he could have evaded the car without running that red light) , but there wasn't any reason to run that second light.

@@billeyjbob5000 That's not what happened at all. The car turning right had started to pull out and block an entire lane of traffic. The biker saw this and waited for him to stop. Then the biker started moving again and as soon as the bike was in front of him, he hit the gas.

Some motorcyclists are of the mentality that they prefer to get hit rather than give up their right of way. It's a pride thing. The motorist in the first clip was in the wrong but the motorcyclist could have easily avoided that. A lot of motorcyclists also haven't been taught that cars always win against motorcycles in collisions, or haven't been taught the pecking order of the road in general: motorcycle beats bicycle, car beats motorcycle, truck beats car, bus beats truck, semi-truck beats bus, and train beats semi-truck

LOL at La Costa Ave 6:46 Almost got killed at the Piraeus St streetlight there by a red light runner a couple years back while I was in a car. People drive 60 mph on that road so any major mistake can become super dangerous.

He didn't necessarily smash it because he ran a red, he smashed it because he cut him off very dangerously. By running the red himself he didn't put anyone in danger, although I can agree that doing that was indeed stupid.
It's rider's main fault. He was driving well above the limits. He should be happy he is still alive.
I agree with the people who are memeing about how much space the bikers seem to need to not consider someone pulling out as being cut off, but on a bike its seriously much scarier. At 30 in a modern car, it's hard to really injure yourself in a crash. On a motorbike, you fall over wrong at 10mph and you can lose a limb.
