    This is defintely one of the best Skoolie builds I have seen. I love that the front door was moved to the middle of the bus. Plus the design on the door is awesome. I could live in this.

    This is the best family of 4 setup I've seen yet. I'm partial to split bathrooms (so that both halves can be used simultaneously), but otherwise this is exactly what I'd imagined for my family, and so beautifully executed.

    Not only are you an accomplished craftsman, you're quite the wordsmith as well. Your organization of thought translates perfectly into your extemporaneous delivery, as it does to your obviously high level building skills. This is actually one-off, bespoke manufacturing, including all structure and all systems. Truly a custom coach. Well done!

    I love the Wostman Ecodry toilet. Would've been nice to see it all tied up on the outside. Solid build overall.
    Still not sold on Skoolie suspension unless you can ungrade it from the school bus rig for better system.

    Very nice build. Very clean looking and spacious. The center door is nice and the paint scheme is beautiful. The only thing I would've done differently is put the bathroom in the middle of the bedrooms separating them so you wouldn't have to walk thru the bunk area from the master bedroom to use the bathroom.

    I absolutely love this bus. I pray one day I can afford to get me a bus for me and my family. I dream of having this kind of freedom to go wherever we want n just be free to live how we want where we want. I feel so lost n stuck in my current situation as soon as I get the money I will have skoolie like this with a couple changes like I gotta have a wood burning stove and a working office/school station everything else is amazinf

  • @marciam6224
    @marciam6224 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Nice but there are a few things I would change. First off, switch the bathroom and the bunk room. Closer to the "master" bedroom is always better and you don't have any smells from the bathroom infiltrating the kitchen. Second, turn the master bed sideways and have the side tables next to the head of the bed, NOT the foot of the bed. And third, NO TV allowed and a separate washer & dryer.

    I have to agree, even though there are sooooooo many great components, the coat hangers at the entrance!
    I mean it when I say this is a home, truly, when you fulltime in a bus, it can be, a horrific, but the phnominal workmanship is breatless, this is what anyone would dream of! I salute you, your crew, and thank you for sharing this masterpiece Skoolie!!!!!

    First video I watched was of the amateur built bus. Your work is very good and obviously good. You can immediately see the differences.
    My parents have been RV living with various setups for 30yrs. 12yrs straight in their 1st setup.
    Dads clever enough to take an older 25yr old leaky 5th wheel rv and turn it into a great rig to live in the mountains over the summer. (Sleeps 3. My tiny frame fits fine on open couch)
    He just installed a split unit and pulled out the roof ac. Minisplits are awesome for RVs done right!
    Nice compost loo in the bus. I'm all for getting rid of the black tank and using a cassette for smaller rvs used occasionally for weekends. (With a flush hose to dump)
    Hubby finally found out he is interested in RVs but we have seen so many RV failures by the big manufacturers.
    Seeing great work that withstood real use is nice! Have to learn how to fix them before committing to it because you're always going to have something to repair, replace or maintain!
    Id buy a used build off of your clients!

    шкафы без ручек, очень хорошая идея. обеденный стол, из двух частей, выглядит тоже отлично. внутри светло. телевизор занял место+ электрический привод...просто игрушка, потребляющая энергию. замечу что внешний блок сплит системы, выделяет очень много тепла, летом, и очень много холода зимой, не место ему под автобусом. не нравится, что у мебели острые углы. место над водителем пустует, там поместится кровать, с лифтом. удачи с постройкой автодомов!

    I love it. But i would of had the bathroom between the bunkbed n master bed... and the night stands in master would of been from the floor up! That would be my build. And idk the couch going all the way to the wind shield. I think i would of turned the end face front. Like and actual motorhome front cab. But all and all beautiful.

    Very nice bus, clean build for sure, well thought out and executed plan for a schoolie, and the diesel pusher is a big plus, I absolutely love the extra windshield, BRAVO! Problem is the cost of the build usually exceeds the value, I mean I have seen some asking prices that go over what you can purchase a nice older Prevost for, yes that is two totally different kinds of buses, but it is worth mentioning. Of course you can go places with this bus that most wouldn't dare take a Prevost. With a build, you are paying dollar for dollar for all the systems, whereas a well maintained professional conversion depriciates over time to a more affordable option, and most are well appointed high end builds.

    • @bill8582
      @bill8582 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I might also add, that the maintenance of a Prevost is probably double or triple the cost of a schoolie, but any bus will cost a lot to maintain, and most people just buy these, build them and then drive them until something breaks, when you should start with making the bus dependable at the beginning, which includes wheel bearings, grease, brakes, fluid, oil and fuel filters, radiator clean or replacement, hoses, and belt replacement, of which it is a good idea to keep extras on the bus, along with tools, for just such a breakdown. This will ensure a good start on your journey, and less chance for problems to arise. I watched one build that went on forever, and they never started with the maintenance end, wound broke down not far from thier house, a quick patch fix, and they broke down again, when this all could have been avoided.

    I noticed that with the top bunk bed you have enough room to sit up, but the bottom bunk you don't. Get rid of the storage drawer below it so the person who has the bottom bunk can sit up as well. That would be important to me as a kid and as an adult!

    Of course very nice design, decor which I presume is top end and very expensive. Just a few thoughts....can't believe there is just a wall behind the stove. To me it makes sense to have a vent, window, something to allow heat, steam to escape. Thought we were going to see separate toilet/shower but this isn't really separate. There isn't any way both can be used at the same time but it is nice. There is no mention of enclosure of the shower..... like those doors that are self cleaning and disappear. Would not like a shower curtain but with a tub is that the only option? I have often wondered why more "composting" toilets didn't have external access to empty. I agree it would be ideal but the added expense is probably is prohibitive for many. I have seen the hidden TV and is a great idea.
