Hello Liz, Just came across your channel here 🇨🇦 . Watched a few of your videos, i enjoy the candid musings and comments. I ride a '19 Tracer 900GT and a R1200C. Thanks for the time and effort you put into bringing us your thoughtful videos. Mark
Great series, love your attitude, love the vlogs , in 1987 I went to Newquay on a scooter rally age 18, the now famous “ some people said there was going to be a storm “ by I think Micheal fish 😂😂 forecast , got absolutely drenched and we still talk about it today with long standing friends ,all the BEST liz 👏🏴✊KTF.
There’s apparently no need to apologise for anything. 👍👍 the weather forecast was rubbish and that’s not your fault plus that’s why they have the rally in winter to test your endurance levels. 😂😂🤣🤣😂 anyway a huge thank you for being so friendly to us fans 😂😂 next time I bump into you I won’t be so star struck 🤣😂🤣😂. Ps can you ask your dad or brother to give you a big hug 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗. ride safe all the best From Ed
I had a lay in was one of the last off the field. Got up about 9 maybe 9:30 didn't look. Cooked my breakfast packed up everyone camping with me had gone. Had an easy ride off the field no need to go round tents. See you all next year.
Sounds very relaxing, I like to get home as soon as possible on Sunday so I can spend hours in the bath recovering 😅, so we were out of there about 9am
I find a pair of large black " marigold" type rubber gloves that fit over your regular bike gloves, a life saver when doing large mileages in the UK,sodden gloves are dangerous.
Badges on hat... hat gets heavy and awkward to wear and is easily lost along with the badges. ( I lost my 50th Anniversary hat at the 2020 rally 😢) As has been suggested a leather waist coat or denim 'cut' to pin your badges to is best (extra large to go over your bike jacket). Especially as you are now officially a 'Stinky Dragon Gribbly' 😆 (Epoxy glue or soldering the pin closure on the badges will also help stop them coming adrift)
Yes, it’s only a one night event, I guess traditionally the weather and conditions would be too dire for anyone to want to do a second night, this and last year were so nice I’d have happily stayed on 😅
Really enjoyed this series thank you. Better to be over prepared than under prepared 😊
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it 😁

Your blogs make me smile, you can't ask for more than that. You never know I might one day, just for the badge of honour. They don't skimp on them.
Love the videos - I have a BMW GS310R - easy to push when the going requires it! 😀👍
Good see u riding 😘

Forecast couldn’t have been more wrong 😂
It was lovely to meet you! Hope to catch up with you properly next time 😁
haha, I ignore weather forecasts for North Wales as they're constantly bllx. I live in the Conwy Valley, glad to hear that you enjoy yourself here! 😇
I should’ve learned by now not to bother with weather forecasts and just prepare for everything 😁
Liz fair play girl well done 👏 👏 👏 👏 👏 YNWA ride safe mate

Nice to see a fellow Honda CT110 owner in the petrol station. Dropped his glove though. Oops. 🙂
Was it you!? I’m so oblivious all of the time
@@R1_Liz Ha, it was not. 😆

You need to wear Merino wool next to the skin to stop smelling. Awesome stuff.
💗🤗💗
Yeah the next morning and faced with say a 4+hr rough mission/return journey doesnt thrill me. I'd have to find a B&B n have a long soak.
DRUDGERY
It’s best to prepare for the worst? I did same? Took loads of stuff that I didn’t use!
Only 1 night there Liz ???
😁
Get a leather waist coat to put badges on 👍

Did you find your RR friend? 😁
No! Wonder how they got on and still very curious about if they had luggage/what they used
Most people go by 11 usually! Depends how drunk they were the night before lol
When a british person is walking around in a bra and nothing else, you know it's at least a scorching 6 degrees
6! That’s more than half way to double figures 🥵
