That's an incredible review. Subscribed! That graph explains why I find the Space Travel sound more pleasant, even if not as detailed. Now that my Moca are dead, don't update the firmware(!), I'm back to the Space Travel and that presence area is nicer and the bass "tighter". The Moca case does not fit the AZLA Standards tips.
Nice review as usual... i must decide if buy this or edifier tws1 pro 2... seems like moca is a good overall package, but maybe that one is good too? Kz carol can be a thing too but as far i've understand they are worse than those 2. What you counsil as a better overall package? (sound quality first, then anc, other features doesnt matter too much)
Yeah the Carol are great for the money, but there's a few compromises so if you can spend a little more then it's worth doing it. I really like the Moca, but one thing I should warn you of is the amount of complaints I've seen since I did the review from other users who have had major issues since updating the firmware. Moondrop even took them off sale at their online store. So for now, I'd be hesitant to recommend them. I haven't tried the Edifier unfortunately but usually Edifier are pretty reliable, no probably more so than Moondrop whose products always sound good but lack a bit when it comes to functionality and stability
Nice review, seems like Moondrop has really stepped up their game this time. I will skip this though as I'm waiting for their upcoming $100 collab TWS. Oh also do you know of the Hifiman Svanar Wireless JR? Its price recently dropped to $70 on AliExpress and $80 on Amazon so I got one and it sounds incredible for the price. I have had the Liberty 3 Pro, Soundpeats Air4 Pro, Space A40, Earfun Air Pro 4, and Moondrop Space Travel, and the Svanar JR sweeps the floor with them sound wise.
@@ReganCipher thank you so much. Melobuds are definitely better. Might I suggest compiling all mic test for 2024 budget earbuds. I'm pretty sure alot of people would like that. Liked and subscribed. Really appreciate your work.
Great review! But I have a question, should I get Moondrop Moca or go straight to Soundcore Liberty 4 NC as my first earbuds? I've always used wired earphones in the past and wanna switch to tws for a hassle-free commuting.
Thanks! Moca sound much better than L4NC (even after EQ, Soundcore doesn't come close) but ANC is stronger on L4NC, so it depends on what's most important to you really.
In your opinion, which in-ear headphones have features such as water resistance, good conversation mic, active noise cancellation, transparency and especially sound quality (used to listen to many genres of music from rap, rock to ballad, r&b) best under $50?
You're gonna have to compromise with everything but Melobuds Pro are a good budget all-rounder - th-cam.com/video/mHzRXc5eZGI/w-d-xo.html . Earfun Air 2 NC are also decent and often on sale.
If you compare the sound of these two in-ear headphones with the qcy ht05, which one do you think will be the best? (if you listen to many genres of music)
Good video. If i wanted to get an earbud with my pain priority being a. sound quality and b. durability, should I go for the Moca, or Melobuds Pro? Or something else? My bdget is around 40$
I think the Moca sound better out of the box, but you could listen to the Binaural samples in this and my Melobuds Pro review and decide what sounds best to you. Moca ANC is slightly stronger. Can't say for durability as Moca has only just been released. Moca, Melobuds Pro, Earfun Air 2 NC and FIIL Key Pro are my favourite four for that price category, probably in that order
@@ReganCipher Thank you so much for you reply. You earned a sub! I understand that Moca has just been realsed but sinceyou used both of them, which one felt more reliable and harder to you? I will orobably choose within the moca, melobuds and the soundpeats air 4 pro.
@ShahariarMahmud thanks! Difficult to say - Moca feels a bit more robust but the QCY have held up pretty well over the last few months. Both feel a bit cheap but probably the Moca is slightly more durable
I've buyed them now for 42,50€, I thinks thats more than okay for this Sound and Functionality. At my other pair, I really wanted to have multipoint, but somehow it was more annoying than useful for me so thats okay for me that the Moca don't have it xD
I got them too but for me they sound way too bassy, apparently samsung does ota tuning updates so maybe its that. What is your buds FE firmware version now or at least when you tested them?
If you had to compare the sound quality between soundpeats engine 4 and earfun air 2 nc with moondrop moca, which one would listen to a variety of music genres better? Thanks
Engine4 is all about the bass with rolled off trebles, Air 2 NC is v-shaped with a punchier bass and bigger treble extension, Moca is more balanced with a leaner, even tighter bass and detailed, less rough treble. Depends on how you like your music to sound as to which is going to sound best but I slightly prefer the Moca & Engine4 over the Air 2 NC. In this and the Air 2 NC reviews I included Binaural samples so you can listen to them and decide what's best for you.

With Earfun, I bought the Air Pro 3 but they sent me the Air Pro 4. With QCY, I've bought most of them. Very difficult one to say for certain. The Realme are slightly better overall, but probably not enough to justify the extra spend. The Realme is better on calls, so you need to work out whether that's worth the extra $20 to you or not. To get the best out of the QCY you might have to buy third party tips which adds to the cost though, so bear that in mind. Yeah I don't think anything under 100 is especially great for calls - you have to spend a bit more and go for the products with bone conduction voice mics like Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3 or Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 Pro to really notice a difference. Even so, the IEM companies (KZ, Moondrop, Roseselsa, etc) are even a bit behind the likes of Realme and OnePlus who can at least get the most out of the unfit-for-purpose but cheap MEMS mics that everyone under $150 seems to use
