Love seeing these videos! When I was diagnosed with Tourette’s I became worried that it would impact my plans to go into police work after school and I‘m that glad when I was researching the laws around it that your channel came up :)
    Keep up the good work!

Brother, you are an inspiration to me. I have TS and was diagnosed at age 5. I have facial ticks and slight speech Impediment. For the longest time I thought to myself I could never be a police officer. But then one day, I said screw it and go for it. I passed all my tests and am in the interviewing process as we speak. Thank you for sharing your story. You have made me have so much more confidence in myself to continue to pursue my potential career in law enforcement.

Thank you so much for these videos. My 7-year-old son also has Tourettes and you give me such inspiration. We struggle alone and although he has been diagnosed now, it is still a battle with 30 minutes to hour-long tic attacks, on a daily basis. It is just the two of us now and can be very isolating, so videos like yours and others, really help us to feel less alone ...so thank you, thank you so much, and bless you :)

You literally became the tipping point for me, yesterday actually, in committing to applying to get into a police academy, aiming to be a sheriff's deputy in one of two counties ideally. I had talked myself out of it multiple times already, with a major reason being having TS. Then yesterday someone referred me to your Instagram and I saw that you're getting it done with even worse tics than my own. I immediately felt the biggest kick in the ass from that. Like wtf am I excusing myself for?! You prove every day that I have NO excuse to not at least try and apply myself. I'm 28 years old and have talked myself out of too many career paths because I use TS as an excuse, and that ends now! I have always felt it in my bones that I want to serve in one way or another, and seven years into a half assed career path in the beer/wine/spirits industry I've had enough of WONDERING what would happen if I truly applied myself. Never too late to make that change! Thank you for being an inspiration man. I'm sure these videos can be stressful because it's always a little worse when you're talking about or thinking about the tics. Watching is a little challenging as well, trying not to pick up any new tics 😅 but it's worth it to get inspired 🤘 thanks again!

I really appreciate you sharing your story. I have 2 amazing boys who have autism, they are complete opposites. My 9 yr old is starting to notice that he's different from his peers, besides the autism he has generalized anxiety disorder, ADHD, & he has a really huge overbite (we are currently looking into treatment for his teeth), but I will definitely show him this video so that he can see that having differences isn't a bad thing & he can still be whatever he wants to be. Thank you ❤

Love that this came up on my feed. My worst tick was blinking growing up the same time you were. They just called me blinky. My brother has ticks so does my 2 1/2 year old.

Thank you for sharing. Can't wait to for the next videos to see how TS has progressed throughout your life. Maybe you can elaborate how it is during work like in front of a criminal or someone you pull over, etc. I think you're doing a wonderful job.

I think haven't my parents teach me to never judge about anyone behavior or look maybe I would be like most of the kids... Not really nice... But I think you can't be mean to people because of they're don't acting or like like you... But (I don't know the word for in englisch) you are a cool guy and all my respect that you re a cop... ❤️ Love from hamburg Germany

Thats not good that you we're not diagnosed, and the fact that you thought ticks were normal way of life, i feel like i was negligence, cuz how can a chikd fit in when they have these abnormalities, yes my son had the rarest abnormality, i had to support him, you constantly biting ur lip was a sign you were holding everything inside and like feeling i have to let go somehow, your so brillant to be educating people on tourettes syndrome, as i believe as a chikd growing up and really having the support needed or crying out for was ignored, the pain, ok just throw her in like tge rest, for she is like all others, but hey God you made me different, sure i look like the others but hey im lost i need special attention here, im 🐌, and then you go thru life wondering why wasnt i properly diagnosed, why wasnt it pointed out, life woukd have been much different

Tourette’s Cop You have inspired me a lot. Currently fourteen, diagnosed two years ago. I’m interested in law enforcement but couldn’t imagine being an officer with Tourette’s. I got teased enough at school by bullies because of Tourette’s. I turned fourteen a while back making me eligible to apply as an Explorer, didn’t want any part of it because I thought it would be embarrassing. After watching your videos I came out of my shell and decided to apply. Thank you.
