*Legend!* His writing ability on Seinfeld to have so many different situations going on for each character then having it all come back together and tie-in at the end in less than 30 minutes of a show is truly remarkable.
I never got; the show Seinfeld I just hate the actors. No really I don't like Jerry Seinfeld.. he's too much innocent. Too much like GregBrady. And I keep confusing Seinfeld for friends which I really hate!
The jacket story is also similar to the episode where Ted Danson compliments Larry's sweater, so he buys him one for his birthday and it has a hole in it.
Every LD interview feels like an episode of curb your enthusiasm. Nothing is loosely based on his life, Larry David is Larry David is the same person on and off camera lol

I rewatched Curb this year and man some of those episodes esp in the first few seasons made me laugh when nothing else could. I'm stoked to see him doing well and can't wait for the new season! It should be "pretty pretty good."

Its been a while since I cried from laughing. When Larry looked at Lewis and said "When are you gunna die?" I completely lost it. Curb is the only show that makes me lose my breath from laughing. I have to take 5 minute pauses. My g/f hates it. Lmfao

However, his original show wasn't even shown in the UK or internationally and he only started to register internationally since TH-cam and his recent specials. So you cannot say "universally" and also comedy isn't objective, it's always subjective unless you are going on whose special or tour sells gets the most views or sells the most tickets. Larry David created the most successful sitcom of all time that was also a global critical smash. He then created "Curb You Enthusiasm" another international hit and critical smash. So he's kept producing internationally successful and critically acclaimed comedy at the highest level for 40 years without turning stale and had the entire planet laughing along. That's why I think he is the funniest and best comic writer for sure, which is why I said "funniest." Each to his own of course and if you prefer Chapelle who am I to disagree.
