  • I made these diy drawer knobs using recycled items. I used mostly bottle caps and shredded paper to create these projects. I'm going to show you how to make your own drawer knobs in any style using bottle caps and paper mache. In this video I will be showing you how I made paper mache clay out of shredded paper and use it to create a pencil holder and a textured drawer knob. This was the first time in a long time that I made paper mache but I am happy with how it turned out. This video is it part of a challenge hosted by Broke Girl aesthetic and this week's co-host is freckled mom please follow the links to their channels below and the link to the playlist for this week's challenge thank you for watching please like comment and subscribe it means so much to me and makes me smile every time

    A great idea on making knobs out of recycled lids. I already have air dry clay on hand and now I want to make some knobs. 🙄 Loved this video

    Great use of your trash items! I would have never thought to make knobs like that, what a smart idea 😊 The pill bottle cap has such an industrial vibe itself, I love that ♥ I'll have to try out that paper mache clay. Thanks for coming along with us for the challenge! 🤗

      Thank you. This was so much fun and forced me to try something out of my comfort zone. So glad I did. I would love to see what you make with the clay there are so many things you could do. I’m probably going to do more with it too.

    Thank you for joining the challenge today!!! These are amazing! First of all I don’t have days to wait for something to dry, ok maybe I do, but I’d forget and grab it thinking it’s all set 😉 thank you for that information... I do have a few projects I’d like to try will it dry faster outside in the sun? Thank you for sharing!!!

    • @peaceofrefuge
      @peaceofrefuge  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you. Lol I actually did that with my plant pot and almost broke it because I grabbed it before it was dry. Drying in the sun could help I took a blow dryer to mine a couple of times. And online it said to leaving it under a fan could help also. Ultimately it took mine about 3-5 days to fully dry. I hope that helps 🙂 💛
