Imagine, for a moment, that Aichi didn't transfer to Miyagi Academy, and went to Hisui High instead. He'd be on the Vanguard team instead of Kamui, and Kamui would be a reserve member.
MIsaki wouldn't change her routine and help at the store.
Kourin would have to choose a different club, as would Naoki, since Shingo seemed to be okay as we didn't hear anything about him before he challenged Naoki to join the Club.
Kourin, while Reversed, would have conquered the school, including Naoki AND Shingo at the same time. Rekka wouldn't have been opposed by Kamui, allowing her to reverse Emi and her friend, along with the Jr. High School.
Kai would be able to cardfight Aichi multiple times, and thus never feel so inferior that he would fall to the void so easily. Misaki may have fallen to the void, which would tip off Aichi, Kamui, and Kai.
So yeah, things would have been WAY different if Aichi didn't go to Miyagi Academy.
You've put a lot of thought into this. Nice scenario. What do you think would have pushed Misaki over the edge?

@@RedDragonForce2 And who would Link Joker use to reverse fighters elsewhere, like Kenji if he didn't get his claws into Kai? Besides, I don't think Aichi being around would have prevented Kai falling, considering what pushed him over the edge was feeling inadequate when he saw Aichi and Ren playing each other, which presumably would have still occured
Remember, this was a strong player using Kai's deck, and if Morikawa got a single critical trigger, Aichi would've been screwed. So if Kai used his deck he probably would've gotten at least one Critical and would've beaten Aichi, shame he got reversed and never realized this.

While I don't like the rerun thing, I love seeing Morikawa be good, which happens any time he uses a different deck.

@@TheobaldLeonhart The reruns are of lower quality tho and you can really see it in the way a lot of the frames stutter. The og one also didn't have 30 sec ads in between things so it's a smoother watch. Honestly still irked they erased the originals from YT even 3 years later

You’ve watched Morikawa for months. You’ve known for a while that Morikawa’s weakness is a love of Grade 3s and that filters into his deck construction. You certainly took notice when he took first place at a non-team placement tournament with only one Gold Rutile in a balanced deck made by Shin.
He’s a great player, with horrible deck construction mindset. Though I doubt he’d beat you in a head-to-head that easily.
I like the way morikawa's fighting style just like in season 1 that he used nova grappler

Watching the fight between aichi and morikawa again made me notice something. Why did aichi nullify the first attack from DOTE? He's still at 3 damage and Dauntless' break ride can only be activated if the vg did not stand after the attack. So even if aichi let the first attack through, he'd only be at 4 damage and morikawa will then activate Dauntless' break ride effect to stand and that's when aichi should've nullified the attack so that DOTE couldn't stand up using it's persona blast
You're gonna see a lot of misplays this season. This season was one of the best, probably on par with the first season, but it is definitely the most inconsistent. I actually noticed the same misplay during this rewatch, and if my memory serves correct, I'm going to see a lot of inconsistent hand cards and missed drive checks.
@@dnsl4176 true, but this one really caught my eye while rewatching the season. What could've redeemed the season was if they swapped the opening into "break your spell" from episode 126 onwards

Am I the only one that hates Shingo's attitude towards Naoki? Naoki may be new but he stood toe to toe against Kai while Shingo can barely touch Miwa just because Miwa is unknown but still continues to berate Naoki for being a newbie, especially when Naoki has more notable wins and far closer losses with high tier players than Shingo. If Shingo wasn't as arrogant and as much of a smart@ss, he'd have at least a good few more wins.

So yeah how could misaki get 6 soul for her last limit break?
She used 2 limit break of battle deaty which cost 3 soul making in 6 soul.
In short-she had the g0,1 and 2 in soul,as well as the reride giving her an extra soul,the g2 artemis on hit skill,giving her 4,and the g1 boosting her vanguard near the end where she sc3. That's in total 11 soul,but artemis skill refunds soul charges 1 from hand,meaning she loses 2 soul from the skill,she had the soul for iwanagahimes skill
Also forgot cumin on place ability,so thats one more soul

Still super dumb aichi didn't nullify the second the end attack instead so he couldn't do it 3 times, just so they could show off him standing 3 times, and yet everyone acts like he was playing amazing
Because he is an incredible player, this is clear when one sees the complete series until the end. Make dumb mistakes or lose from time to time is good writing that keeps the MC from becoming OP. It is also a way of showing that Morikawa is a good player but his mallet is the problem.
