I love❤️💕❤️💕❤️your art, your way of tutoring us and it has made me want to get back in my studio as well here in SouthAlabama,USA. When I am not feeling well enough to paint due to chronic illnesses and disabilities plus my age (76) now, watching others paint is almost as good as painting. 1 hour is about all I can manage and results in serious pain so if I clean dishes after preparing a bit of food then I cannot paint. But,hey, life is fine, I'm alive and God is always good😀Thx,Clair, and may God continue to bless you and your loved ones❗️❗️❗️
Clair you crack me up, if im having a bad day i switch on to you, your such a breath of fresh air.. What a truly beautiful soul you are...and such a great talent to boot..!!
So glad your surgery went well Clair. Always get a thrill from watching you paint, the colours are a feast for the eyes and lift the soul. You are such an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your life and talent with us.
Oh wow! Your work is so beautiful, my heart actually started beating fast when you were showing it. New fan from Canada, here. Thank you for the inspiration and keep up the great work!
I love to watch you paint. It's so interesting to see how you add color and textural backgrounds...then the details!! Your paintings have that beautiful glow that I appreciate from the Impressionistic artists
I'm so happy to see you again! I love watching your process and of course your lovely paintings. And thank you for showing how you tested the new guache (sp?), that's very helpful. 😍😍😍
Thanks and welcome back! I like Fabriano paper very much and use it almost solely now for sketching-price point and quality are right where they need to be for my budget! I like Arches for watercolor-but I also like the sort of medium-quality Strathmore watercolor paper, oddly enough. I have wanted to try gouache and didn’t know Daniel Smith makes gouache-thanks for that intro. I use the DS watercolors only-really wonderful pigments, and I especially love the PrimaTek line with the granulating rocky feel to them. They do fun stuff!! I’m facing surgery in March on my shoulder and won’t be able to paint or sketch at all for quite some time-shoulder replacement. Yowza. Definitely going to take a crack at painting left-handed. Probably be good for my brain. :-) Well, carry on, and have fun.
Hi Clair. Really enjoyed your video- I feel for you with the new early mornings though! I'm not a morning person either. One question I'm interested to ask - what do you do with your painty acrylic waste water?
That’s up to you, gouache and acrylic are quite similar in many ways so you could use similar techniques. I use both, but I prefer to use the gouache in my sketchbook mostly.
Hey Clair, I have a question about the 17.50$ patreon membership. I would like to know how many if any videos do I have access to for the monthly fee? Thanks, James Griffith, USA I have watched ALL of the TH-cam videos and considered buying a couple of classes at teachable but gotta stick with free for now.
Hi James, there is at least 10-12 videos/painting demos that you will have instant access to. I do occasionally add more (I’m supposed to do one a month but that is not always possible) but you can always cancel once you have watched them all.
@@ClairBremnerArt Thanks, sending well wishes across the globe to you and your family. can't wait to see more videos, I have literally started my 3rd round of the youtube videos and await your next one.

Wow very nice painting, i like you style painting.
I want to be ask one question that painting is acrylic or oil colour. Catdgre paper CA be use
Lovely demos. Thank you for sharing your techniques. Why would one use gouache rather than acrylics?
That’s up to you, gouache and acrylic are quite similar in many ways so you could use similar techniques. I use both, but I prefer to use the gouache in my sketchbook mostly.
Hi Clair. Question, how do you keep your sketchbook pages from sticking together?
