    Your glowing colors remind me of Maxfield Parrish.

    Hi Clair, I loved your painting on Cartridge paper. I have some Cartridge paper too and agree thoroughly about cost and smoothness. Mine is 220gsm Seawhites brand. I hope you don't mind a few questions :) :
    1). You don't appear to ever gesso your paper; do you not find that this paper warps a bit (does not remain flat) after painting?
    2). Do you use a fixative on your works on paper after using Neocolor II? If so, what do you use please? I'm pretty sure Neocolor II will smudge without fixative.
    3). Have you ever tried Bristol board/paper? I love that too! & it's a lot cheaper than quality watercolour paper.

    Your paintings are so beautiful! Hmm questions… what is your fave medium to work with, what are your fave subjects to paint? Do you have any advice for artists who want to go full time? 💜💜

    Hi Clair I love the spontaneity and colours in your paintings. How to do keep the colours so fresh and clear? It is inspirational watching these vlogs, thank you so much.

    Such a bummer that a huge part of process was missed. Beautiful color!

    Hi Clair. Good to see you back in the groove. Did the cartridge paper dry flat? (-: Marion

    So good to see you back! You may have answered this question before, but do you paint every day? Or every other? Is there a discipline about it, or do you just paint as you feel like it?

    Hey Clair, another beautiful video 🥰 I have a tendency to be inspired by lots of styles and mediums, my Instagram page is a bit all over the place…any suggestions about how to keep it looking cohesive yet without stifling ones love of all types of creative expression? Thanks for this creative space 🙏🏻🥰🌸

    Hi Clair. I'm interested in how you started painting. What inspired you and who are your favourite artists, both classic and modern? How did you come by painting the colours that you paint? Were you creative when you were young? Would you describe yourself as an intuitive artist? I love your work. It's so fresh and free. I live in Australia too so it's great to have an Aussie artist to follow. I'm self taught so it all helps me learn.

    Hi Clair, do you get Strathmore paper in Australia? The have a really good mixed media paper that is a lot less expensive than good water color paper and is nice and heavy and sturdy.

      It seems that you don't rinse your paintbrush in between colors, is that correct?

    • @ClairBremnerArt
      @ClairBremnerArt  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do since between colours if I'm going from say a red to a blue for example, but I don't worry about it too much if im using similar colours because I like the effect of the paint being a little bit messy
