A lot of new Fnaf youtubers are on the rise recently here in the mid 2020s and I’m all for it! It really is fun seeing a generation of new channels take off.
One of the things I love about Ruin, is how the Vanni mask is seemingly manipulating an AR system meant for the public to use. We saw so much of those new mascot masks for multiple characters in Help Wanted, and then there was the silly AR mobile game, but now we see where it could've been leading to. This AR program is meant to obscure problems with the Pizzaplex and immerse customers with their favorite characters. It removes trash and debris from your view, blocks off areas with non-existent walls, shows you merchandise that isn't real, and turns posters and vending machines into whatever option you like the most. We see Roxy, Cassie's favorite character, in pristine condition, with her posters and standees in the Salon/Raceway being broken or less detailed in the real world. Vending machines show Roxy instead of other characters when in AR. And it seems the AR pulls from stuff Fazbear Entertainment never made to make it seem like there's more merchandise available. Which makes me wonder, why was the Vanni mask made? Is it a hack or exploit to secretly allow someone to abuse the mixed reality of the Pizzaplex, or did Fazbear Entertainment create it as a testing ground to remove glitches and cover up incidents.
Ruin is a definite improvement, but there is still visibly a lot to improve. The enemy AI is still not particularly good. There are fewer game breaking bugs, but there are a few significant ones. The DLC is slightly more tense than SB, but still not really as scary as better horror games, or even earlier entries in the series. It's a step in the right direction, but we need to get significantly further down the path.
i couldn't agree more; i was my most info FNAF back during 2015-2017ish and lately is the most hyped i've been about it since. i'm out here drawing rabbit furries like i'm back in high school. bonnie was always my favorite animatronic, so i'm absolutely going bonkers over the lore surrounding glamrock bonnie and i'm so glad he's finally been addressed in-game
Ruin’s a step in the right direction. I’d like to see further course correction to recreate the magic of the first game, and maybe with future games they’ll be able to go all out without having to fit the constraints of being a dlc to a game like Security Breach, although I’m not sure they’ll go much farther than something like ruin, ah well. Anyways Happy 9th Anniversary Fnaf fans!
I wish there was more Vanny content in the games. Her bits in the Glitched Attraction, is great. But I love that they give Roxy more love and development!
One problem I have with ruin is how you need knowledge on the books to get the lore of the mimic, personally I think they should go back to explaining the story more in the environments and in minigames other than just reading the book for a lore dump. I kinda disliked the mimic reveal because we already knew about him before. One reason I liked Afton was because back in FNAF 2 we knew nothing about the mysterious purple guy and over the course of the games we learned more about him, even if you didn't read the books you will still almost understand his motivations by UCN. While in ruin the reveal of the mimic just doesn't feel the same since we already know its backstory from the books. other than that ruin really did good at keeping the other stuff mostly in game and actually have to find some stuff to get to know the story better. Also really good video keep up the good work.
as much as books give backstory to the mimic, you dont really need to know the books to understand the mimic or what is important to it. it's literally in the name and as much as earlier fnaf didnt rely on books (still on outside sources semi heavily, teasers, source code, site code, etc) like, half of the characterisation people use for characters came from the books (the non canon ones at that, weirdly enough) i just hope they can tell a good story and have good games regardless of where they put backstories, Cassie's info was done fine and the mimic is handled in a way where you get the jist regardless
Yeah i agree, I hate when series rely on supplemental material to understand the story. ESPECIALLY because they seem to want the books to have both important lore and non-canon side stories, with no distinction between what is what, which ends up leaving everything extremely convoluted and hard to follow
Agreed. I think the books do have a place and shouldn't be scrapped entirely, but at the very least, the important lore bits should really be reiterated in the actual game somehow. It doesn't have to be a massive lore dump, but you should be able to get the gist of what's going on from clues in the game itself, with the books' lore serving as further clarification as needed and/or a little bit of extra foreshadowing to keep the community engaged now that game releases are so much further apart than in the early days.
for a dlc called ‘RUIN’ it fixed a lot of problems from Security Breach while also bringing in new questions to leave the community guessing. This truly is the year for FNAF and we can only hope it gets better from here
Your ending talking about enjoying the FNAF cast as their own humanized characters makes me wonder if we could ever get a video covering my hero, Tony Crynight. Sorry, I couldn’t resist.
I love your style, your oc dressed as vanny is cute and great and it's amazing seeing how your growing so fast I hope your channel keeps growing and has many happy years ahead.
to be honest, SB felt like a DLC to Ruin for me, it did a good job establishing the characters (minus Vanny) but that's really about it, it kinda felt like a prologue to Ruin, Ruin felt much scarier than the base game and it felt like the stakes were higher, SB felt like some of the Fazbear Frights story, random person randomly gets connected with Fazbears with no previous knowledge or experience with it. The environment was nice and I love the characters to death (minus Gregory, Cassie can do better) but it felt like we were missing crucial parts of the story. Now, what would be cool to see in my opinion is if there were DLCs or actual games focusing on different children that each have a favorite among the glamrock crew for different reasons, for example, maybe there's another Security Breach coming that focuses on Cassie and Roxy's relationship while they navigate under the Pizza Plex together while trying to escape, then a DLC with that game comes out with a kid who favors Monty and they follow his style and is a rebel kid that snuck into the Pizza Plex as a dare from their friends in which they have to spend the night there, then, a game comes out for that kid and Monty's relationship which could maybe help us find more lore about Bonnie, then a DLC comes out for that game about a kid who favors Chica, maybe a poor kid who wishes to be able to cook and eat any dish they want and like how Chica is willing to eat anything, then a game made about them and their relationship with Chica. Obviously, this is all bs that I came up with that will very much not happen but it's cool to think about.
happened to stumble across your ‘redesigning vanny’ video a bit ago, and i’m glad to see you’re making more videos and plan on making more! What you said at the end of this video really rung a bell with me, and as someone who was somewhat around to experience the early days of FNAF, I think that’s why a lot of the former younger fans are now more invested in security breach. It feels… familiar. :D
While I do think Ruin is much better than Security Breach, too many people are treating it like the second coming of Christ. Let's face it, it's not that hard to make something that's better than Security Breach. The game is still very buggy and the ennemy AI is straight up braindead. The section with Monty chasing you underwater would have been a lot cooler if he caught you as you soon as you got into the water, but unfortunately that's not what happened. Mark spent a ridiculous amount of time in the water and never got caught. Ruin's biggest problem imo is how few chases there are. Sun/Moon don't even chase you! They stand in place while you turn on the generators. That kills all tension. I know this all sounds negative but I definetely think Ruin has its cool moments, such as the headless Freddy and shattered Glamrock Bonnie. And deactivating Roxy was heartbreaking and told so much with little dialogue. Great stuff.
i do agree ! it’s definitely not the original games , but it’s a step in the right direction , and it’s good to see steel wool at least getting some of the worst stuff out of this game . i will say however , something i forgot to mention was the fact that the glamrock bonnie easter egg like… wasn’t even accessible because of a glitch. it was very much not supposed to be an out of bounds easter egg, as steelwool stated, and it sucks that a lot of people didn’t know about it at first because of the glitches. it was also frustrating for people ( like markiplier ) who DID go through all the trouble trying to correct something that was out of their control
My only problem with Ruin is the scripted animatronic events, there super easier to avoid and the only time I got jump scared by a animatronic was when I was far away from them but they still somehow jump scared me which broke the whole vibe of them trying to find you. Its still much better then sb where they would just teleport to you.
I think Gregory is actually the one betraying her. In the files, the Mimic and Gregory have different names to their lines, and the elevator ending has Gregory’s name labeling his lines so it’s most likely him. But.. this is FNAF so who fuckin knows 🤷♀️
Hey these videos have been pretty great so far, hope you grow more from them in the future. It's good stuff, also like the art for your character in the videos aswell
Ruin is so weird to me- I really liked the art direction and the lighting was what I wanted from the base game. Had security breach been like ruin from the beginning, I would probably have fonder feelings toward the game. I do love how headless Freddy has a gift box in his stomach mouth, almost like a lure. But as it is, it feels strange. The dlc seems to be saying that the afton ending wasn't canon, despite the fire being the best explanation for the pizzaplex's state of decay. It would take too long to get that gross if Fazbear Entertainment just decided to leave it, Gregory would have grown older in that time. The costumes in the basement are also a weird retcon, as it was fairly obvious that the underground pizza place was supposed to be the pizza sim location, but now it's supposed to be a new(old) restaurant with new costumes?
@quinnamon oh that's true! I forgot about that detail. Ooooh what if it had been mentioned more in security breach? Like the pizzaplex had to be empty for inspections for the next day and that's how/maybe why Greggory snuck in. It could have been really cool to see more of the pizzaplex falling apart as the sinkhole builds
I love how you can just hear the laugh from Quinnamon, you can just hear *faint laugh* The kid got ran over by a van *giggles* I can't tell if Quinnamon intended for that to be funny or if they found that funny at all, but you can just hear him smile and laugh a bit from how he's talking
3:35 i was sitting there, PEACEFULLY putting together a puzzle, when i hear the mimic audio and genuinely JUMP from my chair 😭 MY LEG HIT THE DRAWER ON THE TABLE AND IT HURTS :')) i put my headphones too high again LMFAO
Im actually gonna start in the base game cause there is just something that doesn't sit right with me, I see there being 2 endings that happen in the game one has more evidence (princess quest) but one is more persistent throughout the game (burntrap) for the Princess quest ending you have to get the first 2 princess quest arcade games, find the hidden hide out in fazerblast and go to the doors at 6am to unlock the "vanny" option, short cut scene plays you go to fazerblast and choose between the good ending (princess quest) and the bad ending (destroy vanny), with the evidence of this ending being as you said the sword through the princess quest 3 cabinet, but theres evidence to show that the glitchtrap ending is true, in the base game 4AM comes around and you have to choose chika or monty to destroy, you make your choice and then have to wait till 6AM to destroy the other, so its worth noting that by 6am for the princess quest ending you would have 2 out of 3 upgrades, monty or chica broken as well as roxxy, in the DLC we see all three in the same destoryed state, as a side they COULD have done "lazy developer thing" and decided "hey lets make them all ruined" but this is FNAF so thats highly unlikely (as a side they could easily have made it so that a flag is put on the active save file (last save file used) to say "this is the animatronic destroyed at 4am" to then tell the DLC "hey you need to put this animatornic like this" anyway that part out the wya. seeing as this is FNAF I dont think that the ending is the elevator ending, mostly because "its too easy to get" take the base game, easiest ending is to survive till 6 and leave, (which can be done from entrance, van or fire escape to give three different what im dubbing "sub endings") then you have the "vanny endings" which is princess quest and "decommission vanny" then the 3d ending and thats the afton ending (worth noting on the switch port this was refered to as the canon ending also) afton ending being the next easiest one as its basically spelled out to you, and the vanny ending being the most work to put into it, translate that to ruin we have lift ending being easiest, brazil ending being the "afton ending" equivilant (as while its not spelled out you do have a level of distrust in "gregory" so you dont know if its grimmic (thats what the mimic is refered to in the files when talking like gregory) and then the scooper ending, find all the hidden doors and do a lot of work that is out of the way, going to 4 different camera stations in 4 different levels to find the hidden camera (something that you wouldnt think about if you were just playing and not a FNAF nerd) having said that the simple ending does pose an very interesting idea for a future game/DLC the ability to have a 2 player FNAF game, this is riffing off the idea that "gregory hears the lift fall and manages to get back to the pizzaplex to try and rescue you" so you could have different things that both characters can do and things they cant do such as for gregory say "repair security nodes" and for cassy using the fazwrench to deal with fazdoors and such, yes obviously for single player loners they can do a character switch style thing but it would be an interesting concept
I'm glad things seem to be on an upswing with quality, I hope Help Wanted 2 is even more polished than the first game, and that things continue to get better and better with the franchise. Looking forward to whatever you make a video about next!
i watched your vanny video before this one and i have to say that you did really good and i hope you keep making more videos about fnaf because its nice to see new people in the community making videos instead of the same old famous ones
Hey there! I just came up with something. So, Help Wanted 2's trailer starts with the sl elevator falling. It's also adapted with faz-wrench compatible inputs. Plus, the VANNI mask is more like VR than AR. My theory: Maybe, could be, that HW2 is a direct sequel to RUIN, with the mimic mimicking the DreadUnit's voice to guide Cassie, like Circus Baby did. **mic drop** 🎤
i honestly like the idea of cassie re-building/helping out the animatronics. i dunno dude i just want to see the scrunglos happy, like id just like to see all of the animatronics hanging out like friends, just chilling. I mean, they made the animatronic's super sentient, why not? (anyway, great vid- i honestly dont get why people didnt like the dlc, i thought it was great.)
I disagree, I feel Gregory would totally sacrifice his best friend to prevent the Mimmic escaping. Seeing how vicious he was with dismantling the other animatronics to upgrade Freddy.
Yt recommended me both ur vids on separate days, clearly that’s a sign, as I enjoyed ur content so I subbed lmao xD 👍 (Also- comment for the algorithm lolol)
Bit late but whatever. I agree that the community seems to be returning to the "glory days" and that the tone of the franchise seems to be heading back aswell, but I can't say the same for the gameplay. When FNaF released in 2014 it exploded in popularity BECAUSE of how unique the gameplay and feeling was compared to other big horror games at the time, which was due to the lack of freedom in FNaF. In most other horror games you can always run away, hide or defeat your threats, but you couldn't in FNaF and you could only hold them off for a little bit and each time you did you were spending some resource you had a limited amount of, making you always feel stressed even if you were safe. This combined with the lack of movement and general freedom made for a very scary and new experience. Of course this formula has been executed in different ways over the years but the core principles have basically always been there. This changed when Security Breach came out and now you could hide, run away and even defeat your threats, all without losing anything by doing it. This continued with Ruin where you can just take off the mask and wait when MXES is creeping up on you or run away. All in all, I enjoyed Ruin, the ways it improved upon the faults of SB and the atmosphere it provided, but it does feel really sad to see that this franchise seems to be moving away from what made it popular in the first place.
i think the birthday is the day that ruin takes place though? eclipse immediately goes 'happy birthday' once activated and that would make sense if she was in the network, aka had a birthday there before which she did as roxy said 'this time' when talking about cassie's birthday, implying she has had a birthday there before.
It's pretty much implied that Gregory is with Vanessa as the Candy Cadet robot says "A mother and child living in a cabin in the woods, and the mother kept a monster locked in the basement." I'm paraphrasing but that's the gist of the story before the robot dies and you can't interact with it. Here implied that the mother and child is Vanessa and Gregory, and the monster in the basement is the mimic kept in below the pizzaplex. As for my own thoughts on Ruin, it's better but it is a messy continuation. Mostly my issues are with the VR headset thing in how it basically enables you to no clip through rubble and concrete walls, which is confusing even for a game about possessed robots or robots who have AI advanced enough to be on the level of human-like, and I feel we should have had more with Roxy. One idea I had was we meet Roxy earlier and we help her get some new eyes so she can see. These eyes are prototypes and glitch so now Roxy can see in the VR world. The player would be able to do the same by either getting in a chest cavity like with Freddy, or Roxy would have this VR helmet that originally logged into her eyes before, so young kids who couldn't race could experience a race through her own eyes. We explore the ruined Pizzaplex, then we get to the moment we have to deactivate Roxy, who actually begs for it as the virus is still inside her programming. Like Freddy became infected after his first upgrade, which results in the player being ejected and killed if his power level gets too low, the same would happen with Roxy if her power levels get too low. Encountering Cassie made her strong enough/allowed her to assert control over her actions again, but if her power levels get too low, she'll be taken over again. This seems to kill her at first, making that scene much more heartbreaking. Of course she reboots, clean of the virus and she protects us from the Mimic. The endings with the mimic are nothing special either, and I've also thought of a way to make the mimic scooped ending more interesting and make sense.
@@Anteater92006 different kid and different story, most likely. child ran into the street and got hit by a car which made the creator guy teach the mimic *violence* different from the other kid that died outside related to a car, this chid death was unintentional
Heres a quick little part most people dont mention when you hear "we can't be risked being followed" during "being followed" you can faintly hear a deeper and more robot voice in the background saying, "Being Followed.".
I adore the look of the not-yellow bunnies in Ruin, too I'm thinking that Cassie falling with the elevator is going to end up with her in HW2 which would be interesting if the playable character IS Cassie's dad (New characters!!) What do you suppose MXES stand for? I think it's similar to LEFTE: Mimic eXtraction and Encapsulation System
first letter of mxes is definitely mimic, no doubt - the s is likely system or security i would think ! the name “ security breach “ makes me think that this plotline has been planned for a while - ( also the endos in fnaf vr resembling the mimic 👀 )
4:40 Based on the model designs, the Mimic (at least the one in Ruin) _can't_ be Burntrap, as the only similarity is one single hand; Burntrap's Endo otherwise has a torso, head, and arms based off of Springtrap and beta Spring Bonnie, as well as Glamrock Endo legs, whereas the Mimic's entire body is totally new (and can't fit _inside_ of Burntrap, no matter what some people say). 7:53 Not really; as I understand it, most of those costumes debuted in Ruin, or perhaps in The Silver Eyes novel trilogy as opposed to Tales. 9:38 In-universe, MXES seems to predate Gregory's involvement in the Pizzaplex, or even the Pizzaplex itself, as the machine hosting it is clearly weathered and old, and the Mimic has been trapped for "a long time", which probably wouldn't just be the few weeks or so post-Security Breach.
While I understand why you like ruin, I personally didnt enjoy it in the slightest. It really just felt like the security nodes were a way to drag out play time and felt like the game kinda forced annoying things to take up playtime onto you. Great vid tho!
haven't finished the video yet so idk if you talk about this or not lol. but it would be so cool if Cassie's dad is one of those 2 technicians in Sister Location that gets killed by ballora and co
Can we just have a stand alone video about your avatar? Like why it looks like the rise of the tmnt art style? Or why you made a alternative version of vanny?
probbaly not enough to talk about there - maybe in a short ! :-) as for the amazing artstyle , that would be thanks to frankie ( sillystr1ngz ) for doing my spritework 🫶 as for why they wear a vanny suit , it’s simply because i love vanny and her design - and my little character isn’t entirely charming underneath the mask … he likes to hide behind the people he likes more than himself .
I loved ruin and your review is just perfect!!!!! Personally I hope help wanted 2 is a prequel that explains how mimic is related to glitchtrap/burntrap ❤
I have a theory, an unlikely theory but, what if we get 3 more dlcs and we play as different kids in all 3, but basically we play as the missing kids, first Gregory, second Cassie, third fritz (?), yadda yadda
i actually had a cool thought that this could happen too - and each character could have a different guardian animatronic :-) i had a cool concept for a prequel with a kid who escaped with the help of glamrock bonnie, and when vanny and the mimic found out, they dismantled bonnie out of rage or strategy or whatever
I will believe Gregory dropped Cassie til it gets disproven, it would make for a much better story imo, with a vengeful Cassie and a guilt-ridden Gregory
I don’t really like how far away steel wool is taking Fnaf from its scarier roots, but I guess this is ok. If Fnaf becomes a character driven, squeaky clean story about ai with some dark implications… I don’t really care. So long as the designs are good and the community keeps making content, I’ll always come back.
I personally loved ruin but i cannot tell if it was because of ruin or because ranboo was the pne playing but i think it was just ruin being sososososososo rsilly
I love ruin, start to finish. Now, i loved security breach. But it had a lot of issues storywise. Firstly, im still salty hat there is no save the animatronics ending and i will forever be, especislly since in the verycgame we find out they are being controlled by someone else. Gregory was a protagonist i hated, his whininess and the fact he wants to destroy everyting around him, including his guardian's friends is just not cool, and the way he talks is annoying. He doesn't even seem to care abiut freddy in for most of the game. Cassie is a sympathetic, kind character, and tho she is often whiny, she is so when she's in situations so gross and creepy most adults would stain their pants. I love her relation with Roxy, as it shows us not only what kind of petsom cassie is, it also shows us exactly what the animatronics were without the virus in their minds. They could use ajyome for that plot point, bu they used my favourite character and im gratefull for it. I just love this Roxy. The endings were also much more understandable, even the craziest, brazil, one. And i love all of the ways the next games are implied to could follow. The gameplay was also great, and it was rather easy to understand what i have to do, unoike in SB oftentimes. The game also actually feeled scary at times. In the whole ruin the only thing i disliked is the chica minigame, just becouse of how pointlessly difficult it is to beat when it gives us very little for doing so. I oove the fact we can fix Chica, it's something i wanted for a long time, but after the minigame it doesn't quite feel worth it, especiallt that it doesn't impact the story at all. Other than that, it might just be my favourite fnaf game, and i have been here since game 1
Ruin for me is what i imagine sb would have been like without the bugs: repetitive and boring but it looks good i guess. my main issue is that theres basically no variety in the gameplay with the nodes being identical bar where you are, the animatronics being more scripted than their stage scows and all the jumpscare stuff being either scripted and cheap or being completely destroyed of any sort of tension because they used stock jumpscare sound #2. while i can respect its environments and some of what it tries to do (glamrock bonnie’s environmental storytelling is actually really good) it just… fails as a game and fails at being scary or engaging. but hey at least the mimic is in it, hope he has a chance to not be reviving afton with extra steps because of how vague his ties to peepaw in the game is.
In my opinion, ruin was better and worse than sb. When I say better though, I don't mean it's a good game. The whole digital world with the mask is awful, it upsets me to see how fnaf is nowadays. Help wanted ruined the story, security breach didn't feel like a fnaf game and a horror game at all, and Ruin has just an awful story and fails to be a fnaf game. The animatronics acting like humans are terrible, the fact that fnaf is now sci fi is just a joke. The original story doesn't even mean anything anymore cos of help wanted, I think Scott made a huge mistake by passing it onto Steel wool studios, I wish it would have just ended at pizzeria simulator. Even the animatronics, except for sun and moon, are the worst in the entire series. Trying to make you feel bad for Roxy just doesn't work. Fnaf lost it's scare factor, the old dark locations were incredible, and the animatronics acting like actual robots and not humans. Even the ones with humans inside them, they still act like robots. Fnaf is just a joke now, the horror is gone, the story is terrible and the parts where you are supposed to feel bad for the animatronics, they don't work, fnaf now just feels like it's made for kids and not an actual horror game. If they wanted to make a free roam fnaf game, then should have made the designs not look all bright and they could have made it like the glitched attraction.
I also saw another video earlier theorizing that Help Wanted 2 would take place under the Pizzaplex, under the Fredbear's Family Diner-turned Pizzeria Simulator, and that the Elevator would take her down to or near the bunker from Sister Location. The guy did some math and based on the cutscene, the elevator may have fallen nearly 1,300 feet before Cassie blacked out! Additionally, Gregory, Vanessa, and Headdy (Or the whole animatronic, since the foot on the Freddy suit in Ruin says prototype, and it disappears in AR... I think that one was just a sound illusion disc.) could be underneath the pizzaplex as well, considering that the Roxy Radio only picks up Gregory in the caves, when radio shouldn't be able to reach that deep underground at all (my bedroom is built into the side of a hill and that's enough to make my 5G completely drop at times...)
The three of them are actually in Brazil behind the Fredbear cutout. Why is that there anyways? What if it was actually hiding some secret entrance? Would be hilarious if in the next game it starts by revealing Brazil was the true ending, and Gregory says "Cassie, it's okay! I found a place to hide." And pulls her through the illusion of Fredbear. This is obviously a joke but I'm just putting that out there. It's still FNAF.
how did this fnaftuber just randomly come in to the community and be so high quality plus being some of the best right now?
industry plant maybe

One problem I have with ruin is how you need knowledge on the books to get the lore of the mimic, personally I think they should go back to explaining the story more in the environments and in minigames other than just reading the book for a lore dump. as much as books give backstory to the mimic, you dont really need to know the books to understand the mimic or what is important to it. it's literally in the name
and as much as earlier fnaf didnt rely on books (still on outside sources semi heavily, teasers, source code, site code, etc) like, half of the characterisation people use for characters came from the books (the non canon ones at that, weirdly enough)
i just hope they can tell a good story and have good games regardless of where they put backstories, Cassie's info was done fine and the mimic is handled in a way where you get the jist regardless

@@chalmcal oh boy do i have some good news for you
for a dlc called ‘RUIN’ it fixed a lot of problems from Security Breach while also bringing in new questions to leave the community guessing.
This truly is the year for FNAF and we can only hope it gets better from here
amen
i love the little videos between chapters of your videos they always improve the videos by 100% 😭
You know it’s a good day when quinnamon uploads
Ty for the heart
Your ending talking about enjoying the FNAF cast as their own humanized characters makes me wonder if we could ever get a video covering my hero, Tony Crynight. Sorry, I couldn’t resist.
… i have some news for you

I love your style, your oc dressed as vanny is cute and great and it's amazing seeing how your growing so fast I hope your channel keeps growing and has many happy years ahead.
NEW QUINNAMON VIDEO DROPPED HELLL YAAAAAA
to be honest, SB felt like a DLC to Ruin for me, it did a good job establishing the characters (minus Vanny) but that's really about it, it kinda felt like a prologue to Ruin, Ruin felt much scarier than the base game and it felt like the stakes were higher, SB felt like some of the Fazbear Frights story, random person randomly gets connected with Fazbears with no previous knowledge or experience with it.
Great stuff.
i do agree ! it’s definitely not the original games , but it’s a step in the right direction , and it’s good to see steel wool at least getting some of the worst stuff out of this game . i will say however , something i forgot to mention was the fact that the glamrock bonnie easter egg like… wasn’t even accessible because of a glitch. it was very much not supposed to be an out of bounds easter egg, as steelwool stated, and it sucks that a lot of people didn’t know about it at first because of the glitches. it was also frustrating for people ( like markiplier ) who DID go through all the trouble trying to correct something that was out of their control
the ai in ruin is SO ass though . monty barking around is absolutely iconic
My only problem with Ruin is the scripted animatronic events, there super easier to avoid and the only time I got jump scared by a animatronic was when I was far away from them but they still somehow jump scared me which broke the whole vibe of them trying to find you. Its still much better then sb where they would just teleport to you.
atleast its a step in the correct direction
I think Gregory is actually the one betraying her. In the files, the Mimic and Gregory have different names to their lines, and the elevator ending has Gregory’s name labeling his lines so it’s most likely him.
But.. this is FNAF so who fuckin knows 🤷♀️
Ruin was a breath of fresh air for what ever security breach was, and it was definitely worth the wait for this DLC also Happy Birthday FNAF
The costumes in the basement are also a weird retcon, as it was fairly obvious that the underground pizza place was supposed to be the pizza sim location, but now it's supposed to be a new(old) restaurant with new costumes?
there are definitely a lot of plotholes - as for the wreckage of the pizzaplex , it’s probably because they literally built atop a sinkhole
@quinnamon oh that's true! I forgot about that detail. Ooooh what if it had been mentioned more in security breach? Like the pizzaplex had to be empty for inspections for the next day and that's how/maybe why Greggory snuck in. It could have been really cool to see more of the pizzaplex falling apart as the sinkhole builds
honestly ruin gave fnaf that spark back since the classic ones came out and i love it!! I also fell for the bonnie voice too don't worry XD
I love how you can just hear the laugh from Quinnamon, you can just hear *faint laugh* The kid got ran over by a van *giggles*
I can't tell if Quinnamon intended for that to be funny or if they found that funny at all, but you can just hear him smile and laugh a bit from how he's talking
I've been waiting since your first video and I'm quite exited to see what you make next! Your content is delightful thusfar
LETS GO YOU'RE BACK!!!!
Im actually gonna start in the base game cause there is just something that doesn't sit right with me, I see there being 2 endings that happen in the game one has more evidence (princess quest) but one is more persistent throughout the game (burntrap) for the Princess quest ending you have to get the first 2 princess quest arcade games, find the hidden hide out in fazerblast and go to the doors at 6am to unlock the "vanny" option, short cut scene plays you go to fazerblast and choose between the good ending (princess quest) and the bad ending (destroy vanny), with the evidence of this ending being as you said the sword through the princess quest 3 cabinet, but theres evidence to show that the glitchtrap ending is true, in the base game 4AM comes around and you have to choose chika or monty to destroy, you make your choice and then have to wait till 6AM to destroy the other, so its worth noting that by 6am for the princess quest ending you would have 2 out of 3 upgrades, monty or chica broken as well as roxxy, in the DLC we see all three in the same destoryed state, as a side they COULD have done "lazy developer thing" and decided "hey lets make them all ruined" but this is FNAF so thats highly unlikely (as a side they could easily have made it so that a flag is put on the active save file (last save file used) to say "this is the animatronic destroyed at 4am" to then tell the DLC "hey you need to put this animatornic like this" anyway that part out the wya.
seeing as this is FNAF I dont think that the ending is the elevator ending, mostly because "its too easy to get" take the base game, easiest ending is to survive till 6 and leave, (which can be done from entrance, van or fire escape to give three different what im dubbing "sub endings") then you have the "vanny endings" which is princess quest and "decommission vanny" then the 3d ending and thats the afton ending (worth noting on the switch port this was refered to as the canon ending also) afton ending being the next easiest one as its basically spelled out to you, and the vanny ending being the most work to put into it, translate that to ruin we have lift ending being easiest, brazil ending being the "afton ending" equivilant (as while its not spelled out you do have a level of distrust in "gregory" so you dont know if its grimmic (thats what the mimic is refered to in the files when talking like gregory) and then the scooper ending, find all the hidden doors and do a lot of work that is out of the way, going to 4 different camera stations in 4 different levels to find the hidden camera (something that you wouldnt think about if you were just playing and not a FNAF nerd)
having said that the simple ending does pose an very interesting idea for a future game/DLC the ability to have a 2 player FNAF game, this is riffing off the idea that "gregory hears the lift fall and manages to get back to the pizzaplex to try and rescue you" so you could have different things that both characters can do and things they cant do such as for gregory say "repair security nodes" and for cassy using the fazwrench to deal with fazdoors and such, yes obviously for single player loners they can do a character switch style thing but it would be an interesting concept
I'm glad things seem to be on an upswing with quality, I hope Help Wanted 2 is even more polished than the first game, and that things continue to get better and better with the franchise. Looking forward to whatever you make a video about next!
i just watched your newest video and it was a lot of fun, i noticed it’s gone now, but i just want to say that your work is incredible
For a new face on the scene i'm very impressed with your video editing and scripts! Definitely got another sub from me :)
i watched your vanny video before this one and i have to say that you did really good and i hope you keep making more videos about fnaf because its nice to see new people in the community making videos instead of the same old famous ones
**mic drop**
🎤
You got awesome skill, and i’m impressed that this is just your second video. Keep it up!
I'm glad I'm not the only one who fell for the glamrock bonnie voice clip
OMG HI SOCK …. also yeah i had to like search it up i felt so dumb but also exhilarated that the community was that convincing again
i honestly like the idea of cassie re-building/helping out the animatronics. i dunno dude i just want to see the scrunglos happy, like id just like to see all of the animatronics hanging out like friends, just chilling. I mean, they made the animatronic's super sentient, why not?
(anyway, great vid- i honestly dont get why people didnt like the dlc, i thought it was great.)
Alternatively- she becomes the next Vanny, and rebuilds them so that they can help her get revenge on Gregory
I thought this channel would have like 600 subs damn shocking with only 2 vids keep up the good stuff 👍
I disagree, I feel Gregory would totally sacrifice his best friend to prevent the Mimmic escaping. Seeing how vicious he was with dismantling the other animatronics to upgrade Freddy.
I love your voice so much, is so soothing and so followable
Yt recommended me both ur vids on separate days, clearly that’s a sign, as I enjoyed ur content so I subbed lmao xD 👍
(Also- comment for the algorithm lolol)
The endings with the mimic are nothing special either, and I've also thought of a way to make the mimic scooped ending more interesting and make sense.
but the files proof that the real Gregory betrayed us
The elevator Gregory that betrays you is called Gregory and not Grimic in the script. Grimic being the name given to the Mimic Gregory.
Can't believe this all happened because some dude decided to fucking play crazy taxi irl and run over a kid
Lmao I don't think he ran over the kid, if so that's some gangster shit lol. Pretty sure he just stabbed her or something though
@@Anteater92006 different kid and different story, most likely. child ran into the street and got hit by a car which made the creator guy teach the mimic *violence*
different from the other kid that died outside related to a car, this chid death was unintentional
edwin when the robot built to mimic things mimics things:
Heres a quick little part most people dont mention when you hear "we can't be risked being followed" during "being followed" you can faintly hear a deeper and more robot voice in the background saying, "Being Followed.".
I adore the look of the not-yellow bunnies in Ruin, too
I'm thinking that Cassie falling with the elevator is going to end up with her in HW2 which would be interesting if the playable character IS Cassie's dad (New characters!!)
What do you suppose MXES stand for? I think it's similar to LEFTE: Mimic eXtraction and Encapsulation System
first letter of mxes is definitely mimic, no doubt - the s is likely system or security i would think ! the name “ security breach “ makes me think that this plotline has been planned for a while - ( also the endos in fnaf vr resembling the mimic 👀 )

Good writing.
I love Ruin. And I’m probably the most into fnaf right now then I ever have been
i like your editing style 👍
nice and can't wait to hear about the bonnie and freddy. i was not aware of that.
9:38 In-universe, MXES seems to predate Gregory's involvement in the Pizzaplex, or even the Pizzaplex itself, as the machine hosting it is clearly weathered and old, and the Mimic has been trapped for "a long time", which probably wouldn't just be the few weeks or so post-Security Breach.
im extremely excited i found this channel !!! i've been looking for new channel to watch and i've been extremely lucky :O] !!!
love ur videos so far keep up the great work I subbed.
new favourite youtube channel!!! :D omg i love fnaf!!!!!!!!
Great video, love your style
thats it you're my new favourite youtuber when it comes to fnaf.
While I understand why you like ruin, I personally didnt enjoy it in the slightest. It really just felt like the security nodes were a way to drag out play time and felt like the game kinda forced annoying things to take up playtime onto you. Great vid tho!
Your video is so good!, Loved your channel so much!
Mimic is interesting. Hate that he's tied to William still. Would like to see Burntrap come back as well cause he didn't reach his full potential.
your voice is soothing to my mind, so I will be subscribing 👌
THE MIMIC!
Just a small correction: The costume the Mimic wears is an amalgamation of different suits, however he does not wear any of these suits in the books.
Your voice scratches my brain so good
wait omg does your bunny suit have top surgery scars? that’s so awesome if they are
Love your work. Keep it up 🎉
haven't finished the video yet so idk if you talk about this or not lol. but it would be so cool if Cassie's dad is one of those 2 technicians in Sister Location that gets killed by ballora and co
Can we just have a stand alone video about your avatar? Like why it looks like the rise of the tmnt art style? Or why you made a alternative version of vanny?
probbaly not enough to talk about there - maybe in a short ! :-) as for the amazing artstyle , that would be thanks to frankie ( sillystr1ngz ) for doing my spritework 🫶 as for why they wear a vanny suit , it’s simply because i love vanny and her design - and my little character isn’t entirely charming underneath the mask … he likes to hide behind the people he likes more than himself .
we should do some theory crafting fr
I saw a lot of people saying that the MXES rabbit has a bad design, idk he's tumblr sexy man material to me
I hope they do continue this story!
I loved ruin and your review is just perfect!!!!! Personally I hope help wanted 2 is a prequel that explains how mimic is related to glitchtrap/burntrap ❤
You have caught a fire so make sure you don’t trip and put it out
Brazil was definitely a very surreal movie and I still enjoyed it
I have a theory, an unlikely theory but, what if we get 3 more dlcs and we play as different kids in all 3, but basically we play as the missing kids, first Gregory, second Cassie, third fritz (?), yadda yadda
i actually had a cool thought that this could happen too - and each character could have a different guardian animatronic :-) i had a cool concept for a prequel with a kid who escaped with the help of glamrock bonnie, and when vanny and the mimic found out, they dismantled bonnie out of rage or strategy or whatever
2/2 BANGER AFTER BANGER ‼️
that is a very boopable snoot
It's cool, enjoy your videos!
I FULLY AGREE WITH THIS TAKE
neat, a new video
I think I would’ve liked it if Cassie sounded more scared or at least more expressive
Short answer: *yes*
Spoilers
I will believe Gregory dropped Cassie til it gets disproven, it would make for a much better story imo, with a vengeful Cassie and a guilt-ridden Gregory
I don’t really like how far away steel wool is taking Fnaf from its scarier roots, but I guess this is ok. If Fnaf becomes a character driven, squeaky clean story about ai with some dark implications… I don’t really care. So long as the designs are good and the community keeps making content, I’ll always come back.
Fnaf ruin is peak
I personally loved ruin but i cannot tell if it was because of ruin or because ranboo was the pne playing but i think it was just ruin being sososososososo rsilly
Also gregory does no wrong tbh in my opinion :3 he was just being goofy
I dont know what you're talking about, your voice sounds good man
Ruin for me is what i imagine sb would have been like without the bugs: repetitive and boring but it looks good i guess.
my main issue is that theres basically no variety in the gameplay with the nodes being identical bar where you are, the animatronics being more scripted than their stage scows and all the jumpscare stuff being either scripted and cheap or being completely destroyed of any sort of tension because they used stock jumpscare sound #2.
while i can respect its environments and some of what it tries to do (glamrock bonnie’s environmental storytelling is actually really good) it just… fails as a game and fails at being scary or engaging.
but hey at least the mimic is in it, hope he has a chance to not be reviving afton with extra steps because of how vague his ties to peepaw in the game is.
If they wanted to make a free roam fnaf game, then should have made the designs not look all bright and they could have made it like the glitched attraction.
ok, I guess someon steal my personality and trasformed it in a youtuber, thanks :3
I'm just a little goober.
brazil is the best ending, change my mind
I love your videosssss 💜
bwuh
That explains the voice… i thought it was a voice changer or robot voice
nope , although that would be funny lol . hopefully everything sounds okay now ^^
Your video was the first time I'd seen Jacksepticeye new hairdo LMAO. Was this what the man bun was hiding!?!? Honestly looks incredible lol.
