This was a great idea for a video! I think we’re bombarded so much that we need things and it’s so overwhelming that we don’t even know what we actually only really need. Your video gives clarity
I'm already renting a house, and this is STILL such an important video! Keeping it minimal!
Seconding the projector idea. I put mine on a tripod, adjust things a bit, and bam! I can watch movies on my ceiling. I can also pack it away if I want and just store it pretty much anywhere, which I do because I don't use it too often (around 2x a month maybe).
Good call on discussing pets. I remember when I was younger that one of the first things I wanted to do when I moved out was getting a pet. 😅 My sister and her boyfriend got two cats toward the end of their time at university. And, I suppose the basic assumption is young pets are healthy, many don't think ahead to them aging. These two cats are the epitome of 'one can endure any circumstances and the other is allergic to tap water'. Her ailments were not known because she was so young when she came to the shelter, it became apparent with time, similar to Milo if I recall correctly. They can handle her incurable issues fine now, but if they weren't in a good financial place? It's really important imo to consider if you can take care of your pets if shite hits the fan, not just about medical situations, but basic needs as well etc. Or if someone can help you if it's really necessary. You can't plan for everything, but also don't dive just in without any consideration. :)
I’m moving out soon to a new apartment! Thanks for the tips! How’s the weight loss going? It’s so hard to lose weight during the holidays
When I got my first apartment that was big enough for it (my first was a tiny studio which barely fit my futon couch), I kind of convinced myself into I needed to get a coffee and dining table. Luckily, they were both free donations, but stilll....I quickly realized they were a) junk repositories, and b) a safety hazard bc I was always running into them! I now have a very small dining table for two (I do have two folding card tables for when guests come over) and am coffee table and injury FREE!
I'm hoping to get an apartment next year 🤞 thanks for the tips! 🙂
I will def be re-watching this video when I move into my first home. Thank you Kyra :)
