Nice video, i currently use a Phecda 20w diode and have been looking at the Omtech K40+ but the 300mm x 200mm work area is very small next to my 400mm x 400mm diode.
I picked up a k40+, and I can't wait to get it set up. I love the industrial look and feel. Even got a rotery attachment for it. I've used a glowforge at my old job. It's like a Mac on how easy it is. But the price and having to be online 24/7 was a big no. Anyhow, great video on the review and info on the k40+.
Hey! Do you guys still use the go pro setup or have you changed it up since then? I wanna do something similar with mine but am nervous on where to put the camera and keeping the door open for the wires to run through 😅
Yes, we are still using the go pro setup. The wires come out through the gap in door so the door is closed at all times. The gap is wide enough for the cords to come through.
My experience here is disappointing. Despite its initial appeal and affordability, the machine has a number of issues that make it frustrating to work with. I'm sorry but its not good.
Thanks for your feedback, that's a shame to hear that you're having issues. Can you share what they are? it will help others who are about to purchase.

hello Hi, I have a problem with the engraving setting as the cutter cuts the lettering in a mirror image. Can you suggest how to change this?

Where does everyone go to buy acrylic in au?
You can always use the pause button in lightburn, lift the lid and check progress safely drop the lid, un-pause and continue to completion. :)
Thanks for this, I'm going to be getting the K40+ in the next week or so :)

I would love to have a Glowforge but yes, I agree the price and having to be online are a bit of a downer.
