I'm an American who, believe it or not, went dressed as a Canadian Mountie for Halloween last year. Guess how many people called me Dudley Do-Right that day? LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still, for the sake of amusement, I could just imagine the opening titles of the segment being cut just before the last note, and switched over to a "six-pips" lead-in to the Canadian Broadcorping Castration's main evening news bulletin, "The National." Or, that bit at 2:20 where Dudley chastises Snidely Whiplash with "It's not the Canadian way!" being cut to some specimen of Canadian TV sign-off sequence, especially such from CBC stations though such from CTV, CHCH and Global Television might also be worth incorporating.
That's Hans Conried as Snidley Whiplash. He did the voice of Thorin in The Hobbit. He did much voiceover work and his voices always seemed to turn up where you least expected back then.
Hans Conried is the voice of Snidely Whiplash. He was also a regular on Make Room For Daddy and the voice of Waldo Wigglesworth on the Hoppity Hooper cartoon series, another Jay Ward production.
The opening music when he rides backwards is from a piece written by Franz Von Suppe 150 some years ago. Mornig noon and night overature. His music is heard in about 100 cartoons.
During that episode baby blue eyes were according to the Fenwick character in such hot demand for serving [the] Dudley Do-Right [cartoon empire] and so the top mountie Fenwick character decided to allegedly clone them.
Yes we were safe there as children all we had to worry about when watching was a rope and a train track because we knew who the bad guy was and we were safe as our mommies were popping vauilem. Our innocent 30 mins of life in the 60s and 70s then we were side bashed w the 3 stooges and taught fear and trickery w Scooby-Doo and who was the ever present bad guy who couldn't be caught w out a snack first and then love American style and Goldie Hawn in gogo boots and Cher if we ever stayed up late enough to get distorted and then Benny Hill made us all perverts for a day and night ... Oh where was our Dudley Do Right then.
Isn’t the RCMP (Mounties) like the Canadian FBI - they investigate federal crimes committed in Canadian provinces, right? In the US we don’t have cartoons about absentminded FBI agents wandering through the woods to stop crimes.
@damyria99 Please publish Rocky and Bullwinkle... If anybody has Sherman and Peabody, PLEASE put it out here... I particularly need to get the Ruby Yacht Of Omar Kyam..
This opening led to my one & only bondage fantasy, which I doubt I'll actually ever do - tying a lady to the railroad tracks (abandoned ones, of course!) and ravishing her! ;-)
It's all about legal trickery cussing sua cide drugs violence affairs and male relationships and other women and it's where rap started and foolery and tiring people up .. just teaching corruption at a young age.
I think I first saw the whole Rocky and Bullwinkle show in like year 2000. I thought it was a funny and quite idiotic flash cartoon, and I thought it was just styled like that (I thought it was not an old cartoon), damn how this show has passed the test of time
The voice work on this series is superb.
Awesome ride at Universal Studios, too
And so our hero proves
Rip saw falls
Dudley was always one of my Favorites from the Bullwinkle and Rocky cartoons! So nice to watch him again!
Knhn
The first episode of Dudley Do-Right I ever saw, even at 8 years old it had me hooked with it's infectious humor and word play
4:20
That's where rap started
Funny it's 4:20
What a great treat - to show to my granddaughter. ❤️
"Here, here! You oughtn't to do anything like that, tying defenseless people to railway tracks. It's not the Canadian way!"
OH MY GOD THE NOSTALGIA.
Dudley Do-Right has a good heart...
A pea-sized brain, but a good heart!
Lol!
2:47 "Curses, foiled again!"
Snidley: Hey, that's my line!
1:20
1:31
1:28
Play em over and over
I'm an American who, believe it or not, went dressed as a Canadian Mountie for Halloween last year. Guess how many people called me Dudley Do-Right that day? LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How many people called you Dudley Do-Right?

So Canadian! Love it grew up with Dudley!
I remember having this and Rocky and Bullwinkle on VHS when I was a kid.
I love all the cartoons we had bk in the day they should hv these on tv.
Omg. I remember this cartoon. I miss it. :(
I just love that cheesy bad bugle call. To funny.
I was a child when this cartoon was on in the late '60s. watched it everyday after school
Literally crying from laughter
awesome! this is even funnier now than it was when i was a kid.
I remember this cartoon!!! This goes WAY back!! I always got a kick out of the trumpet sound at the beginning!!!!
I have seen all the Dudley episodes recently, and this one, the first, was by far the funniest.
Dudley Do Right is the Canadian Jaques Clouseau.
You know, Dudley and Snidely went out for beers after each taping.
Inspector: as if I wouldn't know my own daughter and favourite constable * arrests daughter* I nearly died laughing
Oh Fudge! Dudley and Snidely dressed in Drag! 📺🎬📽️🎞️🙂😉😀
R.I.P. Hans Conried (voice actor of Snidely Whiplash).
who remembers this cartoon
thank you Hot and sexy were fun days
I sure as heck do!!!..hasn't gotten any less funny in 55 years.....
Danny Hill lol good ole days ...eh
What cartoon?
It's not the Canadian way!
eh?
I had forgotten about Dudley Do-Right
I never notice but he sounds Like ninjor from mighty morphin power ranger
I came here from a Power Rangers review. The video said Ninjor sounded like Dudley Do-Right, and I googled this video to find out who that was. :-)
i lost it when the horse got tied up LOL.
Still, for the sake of amusement, I could just imagine the opening titles of the segment being cut just before the last note, and switched over to a "six-pips" lead-in to the Canadian Broadcorping Castration's main evening news bulletin, "The National."

hey, snidely whiplash has got an addiction. Tying people to railroad tracks. Is there a 12 step method for those people?
I do enjoy these...
Ever notice how Nell looks at Dudley's horse? 0:25
That's Hans Conried as Snidley Whiplash. He did the voice of Thorin in The Hobbit. He did much voiceover work and his voices always seemed to turn up where you least expected back then.
Hans had a good show in the 60s, can't remember the name, anybody?
Snidley Whiplash 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I still find it funny that this was so old that they didn't even care to learn the sound of an actual Canadian accent. Lmao
"oh fudge" 1:14 So illuminating for a cartoon from this time.
Dudley: Curses! Foiled again!
Snidely: Hey! That’s my line!
🇨🇦
Do they teach horses in Canada to goose step like that?
we are doing this play in theater class, well the slightly abridged version anyway. and its craaazy
I feel all tied up.....xmas 2/3 days away.
Starring Brendan Fraser as Dudley Do Right
That fast piano music hasme laughing
It's like an older, animated, shorter, and older-in-universe of Due South in my opinion.
i enjoy DUDLEY DO-RIGHT
I haven’t seen this show in a while!
"I was doing right nel, that's how I got into this predicament!"
excellent!!!
It is Anne of Green Gables there?
I saw the movie Dudley Do-Right, I actually enjoy the movie. Most people don't enjoy it.
I don't enjoy Brendan Fraser......

How the hell did I get here from "Straight Outta Compton"?

Nell! This is no time for hijinks!
Snidely went on to a long career in the senate and eventually became the White House Resident.
Best cartoons
This is one of my favorites! Oh man, can't believe he released Snidely Whiplash!
What are you talking about, it is in this clip?
And now here's something we think you'll really like
2:51 Anyone know the name of this track? and if so where to buy it?
During that episode baby blue eyes were according to the Fenwick character in such hot demand for serving [the] Dudley Do-Right [cartoon empire] and so the top mountie Fenwick character decided to allegedly clone them.
4:15 was really disappointed that it wasnt another Nell disguise
Cute
Eye bet Your cute!
Okay but where is the SCARY ASS DROP
My band does the intro song of this for every homecoming game xD GO NORTHWEST MOUNTIES!!!!! LET'S GO RED!!!!!
It's weird to watch that..because it was the favorite cartoon of serial killer Ted Bundy
Dudley Do Right part of the Bullwinkle Cartoon family when cartoons had no sexual content nor graphic violence
Yes we were safe there as children all we had to worry about when watching was a rope and a train track because we knew who the bad guy was and we were safe as our mommies were popping vauilem. Hopelessly lost is right!
Pharrell's hat 😂😂
@grumpo2

This it my favorite show of that era...
oh fudge
Foiled again
Kelly Bundy brought me here
Agent Strait McCool! Howdy!
Ikr lol
'Ohh fudge.'
Oh, fudge. :-)
the amount of feminism theory that can be applied here is astounding, the list would be never ending
@bjchit It's that Dudlley,uh,kinda LOVES his horse......
what is the opening theme??
3:15 HOW???
(C) Universal Pictures.
Nell was the 1st pony fan
"Dudley do no wrong 2night if Nell just let him kick it."
I’m only watching this because it’s my drama homework
Isn’t the RCMP (Mounties) like the Canadian FBI - they investigate federal crimes committed in Canadian provinces, right? In the US we don’t have cartoons about absentminded FBI agents wandering through the woods to stop crimes.
No only endless CSI ones
@wyominglost Hey, he just wanted to be loved, is that SO wrong?
This is extremely silly
It was his right hand, not his left.
Now! that was intelligent TV. Well! sort of.
Classic
Kyle McLachlan's best role since Showgirls, LOL!
That was Glum from Gulliver's Travels
‘‘tis but a flesh wound
Pharrell!
@damyria99
Please publish Rocky and Bullwinkle...

She’s not even tied to the track 😂

1:30 - Dudley is a man-harlot.
wth? How i am suppose to apply the 'Literary Theory' to this video?
It's all about legal trickery cussing sua cide drugs violence affairs and male relationships and other women and it's where rap started and foolery and tiring people up .. just teaching corruption at a young age.
