  • Relax, sleep better, and manage negative emotions by learning diaphragmatic breathing. Rolf describes three types of breathing-involuntary, voluntary, and non-voluntary-and explains how diaphragmatic breathing overrides the unhealthy effects of poor breathing on our mind and body. Follow Rolf through a guided practice that trains you to breathe diaphragmatically, and experience the deep relaxation that comes from spending time with the breath.

    wow! this age of instant gratification has indeed rendered us so impatient that just speaking clearly but slowly is enough to make people hate you. it's not that he's speaking too slowly, it's we who have become impatient.

      personally I think he should just show the exercise first and then give the explanation afterwards in this case.
      I know we sound impatient but I already looked at another yoga thing on the Matthew Rosenberg Channel called the power breath third chakra exercise...
      and someone else asked him if that was diaphragm breathing and his response was yes but it did not look like diaphragm breathing to me ....
      so now I'm confused and I just want to see if the breathing they showed was accurate or not where they said it was diaphragm breathing...
      so I just need to know what diaphragm breathing is.
      I don't need the explanation right now.

      I just need to know if I was doing it right or wrong so this is a bit of a torture for me right now because it's like asking someone directions to a location and they start describing the buildings and the landscape this is frustrating when I just need to know an answer right now

      but now I am confused I don't think this is the kind of diaphragm breathing I saw on the other videos and so I don't know if this was titled wrong and that there's different kinds of diaphragm breathing...
      .... it sounds as if this should have been called RELAXED DIAPHRAGM BREATHING...
      I say this because I've seen people do the very quick breathing which seems to energize and Empower..., and they call it diaphragm breathing... am I wrong ?

    Profound... Your chest does not move, there is no pause after the inhale or exhale, the timing of the inhale exhale is almost equal and the body is relaxed. YOu just observe as the body breaths.... Mind blowing... Thank you.

    Thank you for this wonderful video...sending you positivity and love which is very much required in this world. Please do not care for the negative comments many here are passing to you....they do not know what they speak...as a matter of fact, I too will face some negative and (sorry for this word) shitty comments after reading my post here. I feel sorry for those people who have no better work than criticizing. But I dont care....not wasting my time on what others do to me.

    Quick question: I suffer from REALLY bad panic attacks so I'm curious how fast would this technique take to stop or reverse a panic attack?
    Thank you!

      @DihStyle69 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Andrew Jones do you still suffer from it? i had it during 6 months earlier last year but i managed to completely get rid of it with the help of better breathing, intermittent fasting and normal exercise. not only that ofc but those were the keys.
