    This works well and its translatable to fairway woods and irons as well. Another good example of this wide start is Wilco Nienaber and Will Zalatoris.

    Hey Eric. I’m working w/ coach Sieracki from your site and am working on hinging early. What are your thoughts about swinging 2 swings? Driver like this video and other clubs not. Great video as always, thanks!

      What's up Kyle!
      Irons should have more hinge sooner!!
      Closer to 90* angle between left arm and club by left arm parallel in backswing like this: th-cam.com/video/PicEGBmuktI/w-d-xo.html

    Hi Eric. I know this doesn't apply to this video, but do you have any video(s) that discuss a square clubface and what that should look/feel like? I ask...cause I recently purchased a magnetic pointer for the clubface...and all this time I look down thinking my clubface is square, but the pointer/stick is left of the target line. Seems like in order for the clubface to be 'down the line' I either have to raise the shaft more than I'm used to, or visually it appears the clubface is almost open. I don't know if you have ever seen this with your students or experienced it yourself...I'm just trying to wrap my head around it since it seems difficult to maintain a strong/neutral grip when I'm having to "open" the clubface at setup just to be 'square'.

      Yes but less so

      @@CogornoGolf thanks! What's the part that can be lessened? Should we continue the connected takeaway far away from our body but allow the difference in arcs to be smaller, or should we not stress the wide backswing arc as much?

    • @CogornoGolf
      @CogornoGolf  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There is more hinge/narrow arc with irons on backswing. Therefore the differential on way down is less.

    For me, the left shoulder move is key. It helps to stop suckibg the club inside too much. I need to work on the width with the right arm. I tend to let it get stuck to my right side.

    Don't try that big huge Davis Love and Deshambo stretched out back swing if you don't have the body and coordination to handle it.
