I really appreciated Haviv Rettig Gur’s historical points regarding just how many local peoples aided the Nazis in the genocide of Jews, and that without local support the Germans were not as effective in their killing. He also highlighted how many Jews were still in concentration camps in 1947 years after the war was over. And that their sole desire was to go to Palestine-as opposed to anywhere else. Furthermore the claim that Israel is stolen land is a complete delegitimization of the Torah and therefore Jewish relationship with Jerusalem. In effect it denies Jewish right to worship in their homeland.
Let's be fair and accurate. The post-1945 camps in Germany were not concentration camps; they were displaced persons camps. People could leave freely and were free to live in the city if they were actually able to find accommodation. Which was not an easy task in a pretty bombed out city.
When the concentration camps were found, they said "We have to document this; we have to take photos of everything, because one day there are going to be people who will say that this never happened".
Well said. This is a “just let them look stupid” type of issue for me. At the end of the day people are entitled to their opinions so long as they don’t hurt anyone. And just remind them; “you’re entitled to that opinion just as I am entitled to believe you are delusional freak” 😂
Some cultures give preference to narrative and pathos over being factual, hence they are easy with revising history and with backdating appropriation of other cultures.
Thanks for the insights.

He wrote about this recently in the Times of Israel. He’s an excellent source for historical facts.
Jews did not desire to go to Palestine Jews always desired to go back to the Lans of Israel.

The world knew right on the 8th of october that. The hamas attack would trigger an ugly war but just ignored it
And Irish textbooks are calling Aushwitz a POW camp.
When the Germans arrived,, Auschwitz I WAS a POW camp. Auschwitz II (Birkenau) was where the big gas chambers were.
Holocaust denial is awful & ignorant as it is easy to access the history.
Unfortunately polarisation & conflation of narratives just enhances it.
