4:48 “It is really a miserable movement to be a part of.” 😂 it really is.
Reminds me of the scripture, “God gave them up to their delusions…”

Great description of wokism and good point about progressive policies being like a salvation for non believers, it's their way of saving the world, that's why they fight so hard. I was one, I know. I try to have compassion for those who don't see the deception yet.

We have to laugh together with not at each other. That is the difference. Jokes should be fun not applying to people that they can hurt in the process.

I would say those scriptures you quoted Kirk are more sarcasm than satire. The first time I read those I laughed so loud. It made me feel better like oh they were a little salty in the Old Testament.

I know the mocking thing, where I come with that is like Elijah on mount Carmel, with all the false prophets.
And I find that when I do it not from a position my own self righteousness. But from some where deeper and when I check that will God , it’s funny because I’m not angry but it accompanies a feeling of ok if that makes sense.
And it’s not something I look to do it just happens in conversation

"The thing is with jokes is that you do kinda do have to step over a certain line." - K Mann. I agree. The reason you need to step over the line is to allow the recognition resulting from the humor of the misstep to identify where the line should actually be. The "LINE" is actually a boundary marker and the Scripture (I.E: Pr 22:28) has a prohibition against moving an ancient boundary set by the forefathers. The SERIOUS RESPONSIBILITY of a Jester in God's court is to be sure that humor does not inadvertently move the principle/s long established by God's (the most ancient fore-Father) boundary markers. Because, such a Jester may end up painting innocent people in the light of law-breakers & thereby becoming a false accuser (The penalty for which is severe: Dt 19:16-19). Because of a personal happenstance, I've spent several DECADES studying one specific widely held "Christian" belief only to discover that what was commonly taught was actually wrong because a boundary marker set in the Torah had been moved by 800+ years of bad translations & theology. Stripping the language back to the original & binding the commandment (as a Cohain would) - to the very letter - resets that boundary marker to the original position & when doing so suddenly makes perfect sense legally, medically, ethically & conforms to the principle that "love works no ill toward his neighbor". I am speaking about what the Scripture describes as a capital crime [because transgressing the law results in people being maimed & killed (which is what the commandment was put in place to prevent)]. Tragically, most of so-called "Christendom" now promotes a false doctrine that routinely destroys the innocent with the guilty. Just as Adam was told by God that of all the trees - not to eat from (1); - so the serpent put words in God's mouth claiming that God had said to eat from NONE (Gen 3:1). And unfortunately, the Babylon Bee has done jokes that reinforce the wrong location of this boundary marker on what Moses labeled a capital crime. I've heard Kirk do the same. I understand the confusion. The truth is that a large number of Bible translations are so poorly written that they blatantly LIE about this issue in an attempt to move the boundary marker that God set (for a very good reason), to another place & skewing the issue severely (& because the source of the lie is within certain 'Bibles', Christians tend to trust the flawed translations). It seems obvious that of ALL the things that Satan would love to be in control of - that the Bible authoring process would be near the top of his list. Consider that. Sin is sin, but what ISN'T SIN - ISN'T SIN. And if you move a boundary & by doing so threaten the innocent w. false condemnation based on a lie - then your future's not going to look good. So, if you wish to avoid having innocent blood on your hands - you would do well to firmly establish WHAT the Scriptures actually say & as importantly, WHY. The "WHY" matters and is essential to understanding the "WHAT". Otherwise, you may find yourself standing before God - not only with innocent blood on your hands but also having encouraged others to do the same! What I speak of is mature subject matter -so keeping that in mind - smash my icon if you want to know more. Govern yourselves accordingly.

Kirk showing respect to actress is funny and really good. Love it ! Have you or the B considered opposites or inversions of the idea of respect ? How about a Rodney Dangerfield character complaining, "...I tell Ya' I get no DISrespect ...!" My favorite line to a worker under incompetent ego inflated authority figures is: "...Make sure that you always show them proper disrespect ! They get really upset if you don't. And remember always, always keep it proper, proper, proper ! I think this pattern could work good with the "Woke" as the target . lol.
