      2) There's only one TRUTH needed to be identified as having the SPIRIT THAT IS OF GOD/PRO-CHRIST (1John 4:2). Here's that TRUTH which can NEVER be disproven:
      "John 4:24 God is a Spirit: ....
      Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself; handle me and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as yet see me have."

      PREMISES: GOD is a SPIRIT (John 4:24);
      A spirit has no flesh and bones (Luke 24:39);
      JESUS CHRIST has flesh and bones (Luke 24:39).
      CONCLUSION: Therefore, JESUS CHRIST IS NOT GOD.
      - The FATHER is the ONLY TRUE GOD (John 17:1-3); therefore, the SON/JESUS CHRIST IS NOT GOD; otherwise, he's a false god/god the son, god the Word, mighty god, creator god, father god, man god/false Christs (Matt. 24:24) -- that's LOGIC/SOUND REASONING too.
      3) The "two brothers" in the "fantastic video" as you stated FAILED in the BIBLICAL TEST ONE (1John 4:1-3); hence, the identified antichrist/false prophets (1John 4:3) and the deceivers/deceived in 2JOHN 1:5-7.

      It seems to me that it is a plot device to get people back to the "tomb" and find an empty to make the resurrection story more plausible.
      Most likely, Jesus died on Friday. His body rot for a while, maybe even ripped apart by animals. Afterward, he was thrown in a mass grave.

    I loved this interview. I know I’ve given TBN harsh criticism in the past based off their teachings, this video however is biblically sound. Also I gained new insight on how I can approach others who have different view points on the Bible.
    My question on discernment is this, there are so many channels on TH-cam who have created discernment videos many of which critique TBN. However many of these discernment channels make claims after every video that they pray for those false teachers to repent and ask God to forgive them. Out of arrogance though many of the preachers on TBN insult and call these concerned individuals demons and continue destroying thousands of peoples lives with their teachings that do not line up with scripture.
    Will TBN every listen to these concerns or will they continue to insult their critiques and use their speaking platforms to confuse the next generation of believers.
    I pray the day comes when TBN denounces Word of Faith and pursue after God in His Righteousness. After listening to this interview there is hope.

    Saying Christianity is the best explanation for why things are the way they are, used to be true, but now we have an epochal revelation that is an improvement on that.
    I'm all for believing in God, but I'm more about sharing my inner life with God, via his spirit fragment known as a Thought Adjuster. It gives us access to the Father 24/7, there to offer us help in making moral decisions, and choosing the better way. It's called The Urantia Book.

      @@toddmiller7876 So how do they know what you believe and have faith in?
      What do you do that seperate you from a unbeliever who is kind and loving, so that they know your faith is in Jesus?
      I did not come to faith by people who was kind and loving, it was the Word of God that brought me to a saving faith. I know many people who are very kind and loving that are unbelievers, and because of unbelief they never enter the Kingdom of God sadly.
      So I just wonder how you make known to the lost what Jesus did for you, paying for your sins on the cross whithout ever saying it? If you are an example for bringing people to Jesus, how do you do it? How many have come to faith in Jesus because of how you live or what you have done? I'm not so sure it is wise to rely on our own good works to save people, but rather just give the Word of God and the Gospel, what Jesus did on the cross paying for our sins to save us from the judgment of sin, because the power to save is in His Word, not our own words or deeds.
      There is also the verse about how we must confess Him to others.... and how me must share the Gospel, the message of the cross.
      It also say faith comes by hering the Word of God.
      Romans 10:17
      So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
      Matthew 10:32-34
      Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.
      But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
      1 Corinthians 1:17-24
      For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
      For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
      For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
      Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?
      For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
      For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
      But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
      But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Many people, including Christians, throw out blanketed statements they've heard from others but can't explain why they've come their conclusions. Good apologists try to probe into this rather than just refuting arguments themselves. Jesus was a master at this technique.

    There are many presuppositions here. First, I'm not sure where Christians get the idea that morality can't be a product of logic and reason, that it has to be spiritual. My sense of right and wrong comes from what I believe is beneficial to society and what is not. I'm not sure how that can only be the domain of faith.

    • @HavenNichols-kg5tr
      @HavenNichols-kg5tr 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not everyone's sense of right or wrong can be like that. If we take Hitler, he honestly believed that to make the perfect race, he had to eliminate every Jew. Was it beneficial to society? No. Was it right in his eyes? Yes

    • @jaryyang1236
      @jaryyang1236 18 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Using your logic against itself, if we do what we believe to be right as a benefit to society, then the holocaust and what Hitler did was justifiable, because him and all his followers believed that what they were doing was “beneficial for society”. That’s what happens when we leave morals up to humans. We get people like Hitler, Genghis Khan, and other evil people who are justifying their evil as “benefits to society.”

    • @surfrusty12
      @surfrusty12 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      Because different people and different groups believe different things are beneficial to society. Hitler and the Nazis believed that killing millions of innocent people was beneficial to society. If your basis for measuring right and wrong is just your own beliefs, you have no basis for saying anything is wrong because another person might have a different belief. This makes the worldview unworkable because nobody can ever say anything is right or wrong, even something as terrible as the holocaust. If right and wrong are only a product of your own beliefs, then there is no right or wrong, because anybody can believe anything.
      But you and I both know, on a fundamental level, that rape and murder are objectively wrong. That’s not our belief. We know for a fact they are wrong. The difference is, I can justify my knowledge that they are wrong because I have an objective moral authority (God). You can’t justify your knowledge that they are wrong because you do not have a standard beyond you and anybody else that objectively defines what is wrong.
      Even the very idea of “benefitting” society requires some standard of right and wrong beyond your own beliefs. If you define what is good by what you believe benefits society, you are presupposing that benefitting society is a good thing in the first place versus harming society. Why is benefitting society good? Why is human survival and human flourishing good if there is no god and we are nothing more than molecules? Evolution might instill in us certain behaviors that lend themselves to our survival, but evolution is just a natural process. It can’t dictate what is right or wrong, i.e. what ought to be or what ought not to be. And evolutionary behavior to further our survival still doesn’t explain why our survival is a good thing in the first place, as opposed to us not surviving.

You've got some atheists who don't believe in objective morality, there are some that do. Does that mean that atheist cannot protect their worldview? No. It just means they are trying to argue about one aspect of their belief system on which they all agree on. That there is no God. And the same goes for theists. We can have discussion if God is real between atheists and theists and then we can have discussion between all the different groups and kinda of theism.

      We don’t, we’re simply asking you to entertain the question of IF your maximally everything god exists, why does he not actually live out those qualities/characteristics?
      We don’t think god is responsible for “evil”. What we call “evil” is what we would expect in a universe that is mostly indifferent to our tiny little planet in the corner of our universe. It’s humans that work out how we can & should live with each other and the world around us.

      So you just completely avoid the question and you think this is a good counter? Its obvious they are asking you depending on what you believe and trying to show you the problem they see with it.

      @@macmac1022it's not that we avoid question, it's a simple fact you don't want to hear the answer, I've seen you comment and give questions for us Christians to answer but yet we give you the answer of "free will" and that's not good enough for you. God gave us free will, evil things are happening is cuz the simple fact we're not properly using our free will like we're supposed to. Every thing has a certain consequences thus created what we're living in today, I came across the fact that you said a question about poison and being in a room? So I'm guessing referring as the tree as the poison in the garden of Eden.
      So I want you to put a perspective mind in God's shoes. You created free will, you want to know if your children truly loved you, how would you do that? Because if your children listen to you all the time and did things all the time like you said since you not only created them but programed them to do so, that's shuts down free will aspect. So then you always know your children are loving you because you made them that way, but there is something called free will in this world. Hopefully cuz you told your kids you're not allowed to do that they will listen because they love you and they respect you. But it does not always go that way, as us growing up we're always doing things against what our parents has told us, all the time and we get consequences all the time. So our reasoning of evil is the consequences that's happening in this world. Last time I checked when God wanted to fix the planet to get rid of evil the planet flooded, don't worry it will happen again but spoiler alert, that's in revelations.

      @@macmac1022you want answers to the equation, the answers is in the Holy Bible. I prefer King James because I enjoy the poetry style of it. You ask us questions all the time and it's honestly not going to satisfy you because i feel like your talking to a brick wall don't you? We aren't going to see your point of view, our faith is a lot stronger than you can ever imagine, to some of us it's almost confusing seeing nonbelievers so focused God just as much as we are. So it gives us the idea that you want to know more, but in order to know more you gotta try to be in our shoes. There is a scripture that is in the Bible that states to "not lean on your own understanding." That's true, cause your way of logic blinds a lot of people from ever getting to know more a certain subject because of the prideful nature of "I'm too good for that." So many scientists and non believers says that if they ever think there is a God that they have to lock themselves up in an asylum. It's heartbreaking to know that but nonetheless that is your freedom of choice to do so.

      @@macmac1022but I'm going to end my conversation with something like this. Study, see who all is wanting to be a Christian, try to find out why people over seas are having hungry for the Lord Jesus Christ, they want to know more about him. We are privileged to be able to worship Jesus in public, other countries have to hide and bunkers, there is underground bunkers in China for people to worship God. If they get caught they are arrested. Other countries they are literally getting their heads cut off by worshipping Jesus, in Jerusalem they made it against the law to talk about Jesus and will get prosecuted if getting caught.
      This is something that not only us are fighting to worship but all over the world is happening. Don't you ever think why? Why would people worship Jesus Christ knowing that their lives are at stake. Something to think about, God bless you brother and I hope you have a fantastic weekend.

    Whether there is a God or not is a separate question from whether or not today's politicized evangelical Christianity is actually serving God or is more interested in worldly power. If there is a God, his representatives are NOT the current Republican Party.

    I thought God didn't need defending because.....he's God. I found myself doing it anyway because it makes me really upset to hear anyone curse him or make light of his power. I realized that some people do not want to be saved, hear the truth or know anything about God. What do we do with people like that? “Defending” in apologetics is not the same as defending in a fight. It is giving evidence to non-believers/seekers about why God is true. Consider it evidence, food for thought for unbelievers who often say things based on pointless hearsay.

    There is no truth without God. Without the Son, there is no truth. Of old thou hast laid the foundations, they shall wax old like a garment, like a vesture they shall be changed, they shall perish, but thou shalt endure forever. An atheist is forced to reconcile a finite universe with ultimate truth, and they can’t do it, because it’s impossible. All you have are paradigms of perceived truth, never a 100% certain truth.
    However Christ, existent before creation, during, and after, remains forever. Always and always. There is no greater truth than him. Therefore our perfect law is in him.

But if that happens then the thing is that He wouldn't be supreme. Since God is good then He would act upon because that's His nature. Let's say that humans can't fly right? It's obvious, so we walk. We walk because our brain sends electrical impulses for our legs to move and it's in our nature. It's a similar way to God's moral standards. It's part of His nature

    • @HavenNichols-kg5tr
      @HavenNichols-kg5tr 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@LWS1989 , God doesn't arbitrarily pick what is moral and what isn't. He can't just wake up one morning and decide that stealing is morally permissible. God is good. What that means is that goodness is an essential attribute of His nature. Like omnipotence and omniscience, omnibenevolence is part of what makes God, God. God acts and commands in accordance with His nature. He cannot go against it, just like a square cannot be a circle without giving up what makes it a square.
      Also what makes God good? That question is essentially like asking what makes God all-powerful. He simply is good, it is a necessary part of His being. So no, God does not decide what is good or bad, He makes moral commandments as a result of who He is.
