Not gonna read almost 250 comments but the answer to your question at the end of the video is, when you are changing your resolution you are changing how many ppi/pixels per inch your seeing your sensitivity is based upon the movement across these pixels,the less pixels the lower the affect of your sensitivity rating also works the other way around the more pixels crammed in a inch the high/faster you move across the screen it's kinda like driving a mile which has 10 blocks in it but if we crammed 50 blocks in that mile than in theory the mile is now equal to 5 miles and traveling that 1 mile is as if we travelled across 5 miles. PPI is a perfect example of the relativity of space and time.

I've tested multiple resolutions using a CPU/GPU monitor and found them performing at the exact same percentages until I hit a certain resolution. Turning down the resolution turns off some of those pixels which makes tracking the movements of your finger slower because there are effectively less pixels to be triggered when you move. I used to wonder why 1440p felt super quick and 720 felt sluggish then it all clicked in my head.
Before you try that, go to your settings, apps, show system apps, and then see if you have game optimizing service. If so, follow the steps on my video and download game tuner. You can change the game's resolution without changing the overall resolution of the phone.
MAAAANNNN thanks very much , I had some issue saying that the vendor unauthorized and I searched another video on how to fix this issue and they told me to delete two folder from the C: directory named adb usb and after I had to kill-server and start-server commands and it authorized the device right after and I could play cod mobile super fast and I am only winning as for my before every time I had some enemies on the screen it would lag and they would always kill me , I got used to the timing the lag would appear and even the places where it would lag and I used to win some matches even with the lag , that trained be so hard that now without any lagging I am unstoppable !!! I got to legendary on MP for the first time without losing as I have got no lagging anymore , Thanks so much , I appreciated .

@DaNuB Download the USB drivers of ur devices first, if you go to device manager you can probably see missing drivers that's related to your phone. had the same issue and fixed it
He is right about the increase in performance but if you do it wrong then your device might go into a bootloop (as experienced in my Redmi Note 7S). The only way out of it is to wipe all data and reset which is not so nice. So be careful when you do it.
there is a config file you can copy to codm folder on your phone to lower the resolution, try searching "cod mobile config no lag" on youtube, mostly its from indonesian players
Resolution changer in play store takes 1 second to change res for rooted but you can easily change to any Resolution cod m by editing settings file but u need to be rooted u can even enable vulkan or change fov to 100+

Update: I did this and made my 1080p phone display into 720p and it was nice! Untill.... I actually played CoD and after a few matches the phone was burning hot especially the screen and I immediately quit the game. Is there something I am doing wrong? I might go back to my original resolution..

I played till season 10 then decided I would wait till I get a new phone that can run the game smoothly. I'm sad I cant get the Ghost and Captain price skin in the latest season tho :(

hi i tried this now and worked fine but when i open cod it seems like the game knows the default resolution of my phone thats why nothing changed in cod still the same but in my phone and other games it worked
you need to find a resolution that is matching your phone's aspect ratio. If you don't use a compatible resolution, your phone will show black bars bruh

I play on a 720p device ._. And 2gb ram my phone heats up but not much and the first game has little lag the a few games later my phone starts dishing out error sounds and fps goes down a lot and sometimes my phone just restarts
