Very enjoyable video. As a woman in her mid 70s, with a Renegade Trailhawk, I've learned/decided that for some trails, it's best to just enjoy them vicariously through a well done video such as yours.

As usual great video. A few comments. Loved the history of the pass and the kilns. As a solo off-roader I wondered what the Wheeler Pass was like. Appears that the beginning and end would suit my entry level skills, but not those big boulders in the middle. Easy for you, though. Also your son's Xterra did well on this trip. Nissan should never have left the SUV race, they should have improved the Xterra.
Great video bud. Love that trail. As for Temps, when we were up there a few weeks ago, it remained triple digits, even on the mountain.... glad to see its cooled off a bit since then. Lol

Looks like a nice trail with some amazing views with some clear skies. California shut everything down because of the fires, so Im actually going to Nevada to check out a few trails. Im really looking forward to it. Have you been up towards Carson City?

Just curious about the pressure in the tires. Went up here last week and didn't deflate tires. Luckily none popped. After Willow Springs I was confused about which way to go because of the limited signage. Followed a road that paralleled 95 for a couple of miles and then turned around. Does anyone know if the map at AllTrails is accurate for the main route. Not interested in any side trails since my son and myself will be going up solo?
