@@judyb1539 Well, at the time to some people a woman had to look like a bland Barbie doll to be considered gorgeous. Which was of course totally ridiculous. Kate dared to be different, independent. She was an exquisite and charismatic beauty and had phenomenal screen presences as opposed to the others. Yes, Farrah was Farrah, the phenom. But she was replaceable. By a generic blonde. Kate Jackson on the other hand was irreplaceable. The show went downhill when she left.

Psychopaths always put the blame on others. They are really good actors and can convince many folks of their blamelessness. They use guilt as a weapon. Parents usually neglect the other kids in the family as most of their energy goes in covering up and denying the misdeeds of the evil one. The fact is, a psychopath never changes. No one else can take blame for the missing component we call the conscience. A bad seed is a bad seed!!

The duty of a mother is to teach moral and spiritual values to her child/children, when they reach maturity is up to them to live those values to the fullest. If they refuse, it's their own fault; the best a mother can do is never protect defects and wrongs of the children or she will raise criminals instead...

Some people are indeed wrong about what tough love even is. My mother claimed that is what she had to do for me is show me tough love but sadly she showed me that there was no love for me at all and apparently it hadn't been since I was small and adorable. Love is definitely not a word. To love someone of any type requires an action. Any fool or trained monkeys can say I love you and be convincing. But to not even allow your own 20 yr old child a sandwhich and to steady try and find out where you are every minute for the soul purpose of being nosey and doing unspeakable things to purposely make your life and your daughters life a living hell... My friends are so blessed their mother's are their very best💯 friends and they make beautiful memories daily. I haven't had a new memory with my mom in close to 30 yrs and the saddest part is would you believe she lives only 4 mins away from where I live and my brother only sibling lives next to our mom and he decided he wanted nothing to do with me after he was married and began a family he literally woke up 1 day and has hated my guts every since and even my parents don't understand why. I guess he learned from the best. My oldest child and only daughter was killed at age 20 in 2014 and my aunt whom was def a mom to me for the 30 yrs her sister wasn't being mom and she passed away a year later my awesome strong daddy passed away in December of 2020 and my grandmother on my mom's side just passed away 4 month's ago at the age of 93 and she was my hero and superwoman🦸‍♀️ no doubt I miss her until my every being just pure hurts she was my world. She loved me no matter what and often said she would have never believed that she raised a daughter who could hate her own children especially children who wanted to be loved. My parents called this tough love. They didn't have a clue that it was hate. You can't just never speak to someone again in life and expect them to believe you love them bcz love is patient and love is kind. It knows no end. And love will win every. Single. Time!

Mere mental illness doesn't? What is "mere mental illness" for you, what's the meaning of that? There's a lot of them, some mental illnesses are very complex because it is possible to have multiple diagnoses at the same time. Some appear in different periods of life, some remain deeply disguised and appear periodically. Some are genetically predisposed, some are acquired either in childhood or later in puberty, or who knows when. I know that enjoying in sounds of cracking up human's scull is not a choice - are you serious?

It's about time that Mother started behaving like a mother. Mothers are more than people who bake their children cakes. The most natural thing is for a mother to protect her child. It is very, very difficult to recognise their manipulative behaviour.
Children know their parents so well. They know what makes them happy or cross, and what they hope for.
Cunning psychopathic children know exactly how to deceive their parents.
In the case where a mother is raising a child alone, they can't easily recognise how truly evil their child can be, especially if they inherited a genetic make-up from a bad ex. Fathers often tend to see through a child's lies a bit more easily.
For a mother, it is unthinkable that their innocent little baby can turn bad!
Obviously, in the case of a normal pregnancy, that baby grew in her body. She felt the earliest kicks. She gave birth to that helpless baby, and fed it, and taught it everything.
While it is tragic when a child turns bad, (possibly due to genetics, which definitely play a bigger role than we believe), it is criminal for a mother, (or father), to refuse to recognise the truth and to actually help a child to hide what he/she did to an innocent person.
Even a young child knows when they are doing something bad.
No matter how agonisingly painful, a responsible parent must expose what crimes their child has committed, and punish them accordingly, even from the youngest age, and as soon as they realise the truth.
If discipline is administered fairly and with love, that child may be saved, but if not, that child will justify their actions and continue to do awful things.
Psychopaths torture animals, lie, steal, deny the truth, and laugh when they get away with it. They do not respect the enabler.
This film is very well written and produced. All the actors play their roles very well. The son was smirking in court, fully expecting his mother to defend him. I loved the way his smirk gradually faded and shock set in.
Sadly, it took this mother an incredibly long time to recognise the evil in her son.
Her friend in the DA was kind and wisely helped her to find the truth.
    Great movie!

A sad mother with no I’ll intent.
Unfortunately we never know what we give birth to and raise in our home.
But it is what it is
As a mother we only want the very best for some reason it don’t always work.
More pain on a mother than any other.

You put everything into raising her. That's probably the problem. Balance is needed in all things. She's probably spoiled and entitled. And I'm not judging....I've actually been in the same boat. My daughter got better when she left for college. Getting a small taste of the price of independence helps them come to reality.
