Hi, I just wanted to know if you could answer a few questions for me, please. So the first question is, why is my hair is the front wavy curly and the hair in the back curly (is it damaged, I also have a couple of straight pieces by my ear)?. Also, for the longest time since 2014, I have been transitioning but, I still straightened it here and there and foolish me used to use the diffuser on the hottest setting every day to achieve curl. I stopped using a diffuser on the hottest setting since the month of January 2017 but, I straightened my hair once in February, twice in March and Twice in April, since then without a heat protectant ( the last time I straightened my hair In April I used a heat protectant). Lastly, in October till December of 2016, I straightened my hair frequently about 5-6 every month. I am really sorry for such a long comment but to wrap it up, I know I may have already answered my own question by typing this comment but, for the most part, is my hair damaged?

Angelica K girl, get shea moisture on sale. CVS and Ulta always have good sales. Even Vo5 has a natural line, a $10 jar of coconut oil will last U months. U need to just make sure u stay away from sulfate and stuff that is bad for curly hair. But u can get it pretty cheap if u buy in sale. In the long run bad hair will cost u more time money and stress.
Yeah I use coconut oil on my hair, and I use sulfate and silicone free shampoo and conditioner, but my hair is still frizzy, maybe I need to get a good leave in conditioner and other products
+Angelica K a really good leave in conditioner is the As I Am one. it smells really nice and it leaves your hair really moisturized. They also have a styling product called the Double Butter Cream. A little goes a long way it defines your curls really well and leaves your hair so soft! 😊

Loved the video! For anyone who can't take rinsing their hair with cold water you can do like I do! I rinse in the shower with warm and then out my hair up in a T-shirt. Then prior to styling I have a spray bottle in the fridge filled with Aloe Vera juice! It's awesome! I spray that on my hair and then style as usual! Work for me! I can go about 3-4 days with slight refreshing and then I usually put it up in a bun for the rest of the week.

OH MY GOSH YOURE STUNNING!! I used to not want to deal with my curls because my friends always made it seem like straight hair was the best. But you've really inspired me to take pride in my unique wave/curls and let it run wild 🦁 Haha and always because of you I have been slowly switching over to natural products like aloe Vera, castor oil, coconut oil, and Argan oil. I started using Shea Moisture products as well even though I need to figure out which products work best for my thin but curly hair. And as I write this I'm drinking tea with apple cider vinegar because that's just another product you've introduced to me! I don't think you understand how inspiring you are! Thanks a ton boo!

I can never resist the urge to NOT touch my hair when I'm air drying 😩😩😩 which is why I wash my hair at night when I leave it curly lol. I applaud all of you ladies who can resist not touching your hair while it's drying 🙌🏾👏🏾

I'm currently transforming all my make up to non-toxic, natural/organic makeup as well as changing my hair and house products to a non toxic and chemical free product. I am about the same skin tone as you but have straight hair, I stumbled across one of your makeup videos, that's when I realised what shade of foundation matched me. Anyways, I had this teacher back in school who was a complete doppleganger of you, but she was blonde with blue eyes and caucasian. I always thought she was one of the most beautiful ladies I had ever seen. You are just as breathtakingly beautiful as her, something about both your gazes is hypnotising. Can I just say that you are the only person I would take skincare suggestions from thus far on youtube. I watched your Organic Skin care video and this one just to see your skin different videos. It is beautiful and looks virtually the same as it does when you wear makeup (ie foundation , concealer). I don't see that here on youtube when watching other skincare routine/haul videos. I did a straightening treatment thing on my hir last march and this vieo made me miss my curls! I can't get over how HEALTHY your hair looks!! I straightened it cause I was just not understanding my hair tbh, and even when I wash it and put the oil and everything, it looks fine but then the next day and after it's just a mess and idk how to style it.

Awesome! I was hoping you'd do a winter hair routine. Even though I'm in the South now, I could already feel the difference in my hair. Usually humidity is a problem, but the few weeks of cool weather we get cause enough reaction that I have to change up the routine. I'm still in the trial and error phase of my natural curls care routine. After five years of not relaxing and growing it out, I just found Shea Moisture products that work in the hot months. Now time to switch, so thank you so much for sharing😊. I want my holiday pictures to look really good when I send them to my family in the Dominican Republic 😆🎄. could you please make a video and show us how your hair looks with/without applying any products you normally use?! This is a great deal of help, because it provides us with the opportunity ro compare our hair moisture and type with yours based on a virgin hair, and then figure out how much product we should use for our own hair... in fact I do the very same steps based on your routine, but I have not yet got the results like you do although my hair type is pretty much similar to yours. and I wanna find out wether it's because of the products I use or a different moisture/porosity context.
I always wonder if I'm using a excessive amount of my shea moisture product when I do use it in my hair but I wonder no more now :) lol our hair needs to much love. I go through the style milk so quick
try using brown sugar and conditioner to clean your scalp from build up or if you feel it needs it. it did wonders for me.

I would love to try this Shea Moisture Leave-In but i'm scared because i made a bad experience with the Raw Shea Butter Masque. My hair felt horrible after using it 😩 and now i'm scared to try other Shea Mosture products.

I hate that masque too,but their superfruit masque and the one with honey in it is good and my hair likes it.The superfruit masque is by far the best one though and leaves my hair smelling amazing for days and moisturized.
Most of Shea Moisture products suck tbh. They all leave my hair dry and with a filmy residue. There are so many natural hair products out there that I haven't bothered to try any more Shea Moisture ones lol. Btw I love your TH-cam channel +GrahamsNaturalCurls!!

As usual your video is straight to the point. I would like to know if you tried the lco method rather than loc as it makes the hair more moisturizing. Since the oil will seal in the moisture from the cream as well.

How long does it take for your hair to air dry? Also what are some really good affordable hair products. I like Shea moisture but I want to try more products.
Alex - like on this day, styling on damp hair not wet it only took me 2 hours. But I went about my day, moving around, doing things at home so it dried quickly but if I were to sit and wait it would take longer without movement. In the summer I leave just as it and by the time I get to where I'm going my hair is dry and ready to be separated and fluffed. No biggie.

I have a big issue with manipulating my curls lmao I am so glad you said that. I am always messing with them in the drying process and then look dumb founded when they come out a mess

Your hair is beautiful and I own some of the products described in your videos. I'm a mixed girl and am currently battling heat damaged hair. Trying to make it healthy and bring back my curl pattern since some of it has been lost. I'm very new to all this but I have to admit it's all very frustrating to deal with. I enjoy your videos though.
