    Lip liner is my kryptonite. I know it seems very simple but it always looks such a mess on me. Also idk how to match up liners and lipstick to make that perfect Darker on the outside lighter on the inside look

    I love these types of videos. I learn so much. Question…as an oily person I’ve learned my skin likes less powder (thanks to your videos). I do use a little to set under the eyes and through my t-zone. Can you do a video on loose versus compact versus setting, versus finishing? There are so many variations on the market…how do we pick the best one for us?

    Thanks for the tips on using liquid eyeshadow! I just bought a couple and I'm looking forward to trying them. 😁 Potential topic for a future video?: Tips on matching lips to an eye look. Like color, finish, application style (bleeding lip, overlining, no lip liner, etc). I struggle with this and always end up trying and wiping off several lipsticks before I find one that I feel looks right. 😅

    This is genius! Do more please! I personally would love to see an "all about brows" episode! Brows have never been a thing I've had to think or worry about, but mine are suddenly falling out and turning white so now I have to figure it out! I love the way you speak and the way you teach and I'd just love your perspective on all kinds of brow shapes/sizes/products/etc

    • @BeeCurious007
      @BeeCurious007 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Robert always says to start with the challenging side first. Then you can always match your easier or good side to that one. So if you notice, he usually does his right eye first (challenge) then his left side (easier). Just something I've noticed...💜

    As someone who never had an older sister/mom who did anything beauty related and I'm 33 now, your videos are my life savors. I know im going to learn something that I was never taught, and that is going to step up my beauty game 💚🤗
    Editing this for a question: I feel like no matter how many different ways I apply foundation, it comes out cakey and cracked. Am I just not doing it correctly? Or do some people's faces just don't do well with foundation? I finally found my color match(vanilla too faced) but just usually go without it, because I don't like the look after it's applied. Any thoughts or tips, from Robert or not, would be appreciated!

      This is why I'm here ... still at my age .... learning new things. My mom never taught me anything nor my ONE sister who actually used makeup but no longer does. I only found out in my 40s that why I was crap at eyeshadow was because I had hooded eyes and normal eye makeup techniques ARE crap for a hooded eye.

      Are you prepping your skin before applying foundation? I am 64 and use a toner, AHA, then a moisturizer and finally sunscreen. This takes less than 5 minutes. Then, after the sunscreen feels dry, I apply a primer and foundation. My skin feels plump and soft, no cracking. I hope this helps!

      Do you moisturize before you apply foundation? Casey could be a lot of things!! Too much put on, not enough skin hydration or may it is just the formula not working with your skin type! If you prefer a lighter coverage, look for a medium coverage foundation! There are SO many to choose from, it can be overwhelming .. depending on what you're looking for finish wise, could help!

    I have thin brows and I'v recently discovered a tutorial that totally changed the way i do them. I was struggling with the up comb thing but this video, it's a Chinese makeup tutorial, said to brush the back half down and the very front up and oh my that makes my brows look so much fuller especially when i use a brow pencil. Up brushing doesn't work for everyone!

      I have a lot of brow hairs like Robert but the way you do yours is the way I've been doing mine ever since I found 2 products that works for me. Both are from Elf. The 1st one is used to get that hold. The 2nd is used to fill in the couple of sparse areas with color without having to use a pencil or pen. 10+ yrs ago I learned an eyebrow tip from Bobbi Brown. If you're using a pencil to add color just swipe some of the pencil in your brows (you don't really need to be precise). Then use your spoolie to go back and forth (like Robert did with that soap). Doing that will dispense the color better. It makes it look more natural. It works...

    1:1 zoom consultations would be such an awesome thing. A therapist charges $100+ an hour…how much would people pay for an hour to fix their face? Their jiggly neck fat? Their crunch, chunky under-eyes? 😅🖤

    1. For mature skin with lots of experience (i.e. forehead wrinkles and smile lines) what are some tips for using a foundation or a combination of products properly, where it won't settle into those caverns throughout the day.
    2. Brows with barely any hair due to over plucking in the 90s... help!!! It's my least favorite thing to do in my routine. I try...like really hard. I just can't seem to find the best way to really get them looking more natural.

    Holy cow!! I had no idea that a clear product goes on first and then your actual brow product 😱😱😱. I've literally only been using a spoolie and a brow pencil
