Looks like much building and modernizing has gone on since my family's summer visits 65-70 years ago. I don't think we had electricity in the hotel then. Similar crowd, nature activities, serenity. I remember the rock "chair" in a small cave entrance, from which it was said a young women was swept to her death by a rogue wave; chilling story to an eight year old. Food was good, there was showy square dancing by young workers. Looks to be still fine.
Is this island still owned by the moonies? In 1989 they would not give me help from their dock to remove a hook from a child's foot. They're not as friendly as you might think.
You lowlife moonie douchnozzle. We were in a 18 foot power boat and no one was rowing. The 5 year old had a cod hook in her foot and despite your moonie medical cert, she was in great pain and we couldn't get it out because of the surf conditions and there were 4 of you moony baby rapers on the dock and all refused us dock tie up with no other vessels tied up there. I wont ROW by your dock ever. I might soak it a few times when the wind and tide are right , but not on purpose. Tell sun yung to keep his hands off the little boys.
@@KeepRowing247 You are a lying piece of seagull dung. If you have ever been on the Shoals in the 1960,1970s or the 1980s, you should know what that looks like . I was last there in 2016 and the bigger and privately owned islands looked much better. The moonies made it look like crap when they were running over it.
Beautiful place. I love Islands

I was there on that dock. We didn’t have time to help you. Your child was fine, too… by the way, don’t ever row by our dock again
