- Join me this week as I build a super exciting slide out bed for my van! I came up with this space saving solution because I wanted to have a full size bed in my van and realised I don't have enough space for one. Since I wanted to fit a shower, toilet, small kitchen, big garage and work space in my 2H2L Sprinter Van I had to get creative. I decided to extend only a small part (30cm) of my bed since it had to be quite long in order to fit mountain bikes underneath it.
Now I need to finish the pull out piece that's been causing me some problems. Than I only need to add a mattress and try it out! Can't wait!

I am Sandra. In January 2022 I purchased a 2018 Sprinter Van, Sherpa. I am using my stubbornness and drive to show individuals that they, too, can convert a camper van by themselves and on a budget, with a lot of learning, rolling up the sleeves, and getting to work. With this van build I want to create an adventure vehicle that's going to store all my surfboards, mountain bikes and skis and have some space for my friends to tag along as well in order to pursue the waves, fresh snow and good bike trails.
My want to inspire individuals to pursue their passion and to not be afraid to live a life differently.
