Abbot was a legitimate elected, Australia's choice of leader, and Morrison and Turnbull decided WE voted wrong and they were the ones to decide WHO would be our Prime Minister. Why do we bother to vote?????
I never liked Turdbull, nor Morrison, l gave Morrison 20 Brownie points, told him he had better grow, enhance them. What did he do, signed us up to Paris, he lost more points than he gained, he had 3 or 5 points left when he signed us up to Net Zero, that was the state of his points, Zero, glad he is gone, Dutton, in that coup was my choice, but Morrison got it. I felt that once Abbott hit his straps as PM, he would be a great PM, thats why the left sougjt to get rid of him. Come back Tony.
Peta I understand that you're hurting and it's completely understandable, but please you're an example of earnestness, streangth and someone who possesses the dignity that cannot be learned but may be inherited. The service that you provided during the Voice debate was carried out with dignity and cannot be underestimated with the outcome of that Debate. So please " don't let the bastards get you Down" and this is One Australian who is very Proud that you are a tough, fearless example of a Real Woman.
Take care ❤
No we're not
Thank you Tony Abbott and PETA for the service to your country…..respected, admired and dignified…..Amen…
Well said Peta! Forever a fan! Stay strong! We love your work!❤
This is a woman that all should respect. A real women with common sense and a heart for all Australians. Common sense and the tika to go against the corrupt so called leadrs that are liars and have ruined and sold out the people of this country aswell as ruin culture that helped make Australia a prosperous nation in a very short time. For that Peta is a new australian hero to me for this day and age. Respect keep true.

No thinking person would engage with the ABC, ever. Abbott was, unlike his detractors, a down to earth, honourable politician which led to his downfall.

Turnbull put in $2m of his own money to prop up the party when they were cash struck - none of the other talking heads put up their own money to help like he did.
@@gfenwick1 his own money? He probably inherited it 🤣
@@tlb2970 unlike a lot of the other grifters and bludgers in the party, turnbull actually had work as a real lawyer and as a mechant banker - I can think of a few other milti-millionaires in the party who always went crying to industry for money for the party and never dipped into their own accounts when the party was on its knees. Most of turnbulls money was earnt - not inherited.
@@gfenwick1 Yes, good on Turnbull for his generosity. His heart was in the right place. Shame the party was dragged to another place.
All major political parties tithe their MPs, at 10% last I heard. That is, 10% is deducted from their pay before they get it and goes to their party. I think the Greens might be a $15% tithe. Plus other deductions (for all).
@@tlb2970 Good grief - do a bit of basic research. He developed a company in the early Tech boom and was bought out. - That started him off. I don't always agree with him but he was a smart dude.
Love you Peta ❤
Wasn't it Winston Churchill who said, “...the opposition occupies the benches in front of you. The enemy sits behind you.' Neither Turnbull or Morrisson have the depth or acumen of Abbott, nor his ability to succinctly frame and sell a message. The insights you offer, for me, often provide great clarity in understanding the political issues of the day. I reckon you're in just the right place.
Turnbull = Rudd = Turnbull = Rudd

Thank you Peta for sharing this tonight and showing your integrity. And also reminding us of Tony Abbott's integrity.
Good girl Peta, fair play to you from Ireland. Our political choices are abysmal at this time and have been forever it seems. So refreshing to see you putting your points across so well.
That smirk of Morrison's makes my skin crawl.
What about Abbot's wink😘
No comparison.
Peta, thank you for sharing. My deepest sympathies ❤ For me, you are a national treasure xoxo 😇🤗🥰🦘🇦🇺🤠
Abbott stood for something rather then woke politics that happens today
all he did was bow to Gina Rinehart and sell out to China, giving Darwins port to China for 100 years, ending the Australian Auto Industry and taking Rolex watches as "gifts"
True. Racism and misogyny, for example. Oh, and support for Jesus-loving child rapists. There's that, too.
Run for PM we need someone like you
I didn't mind Abbott and was in favour of most of the policies he put forward. Clearly, his interest was for the betterment of all Australians. I would have liked to have seen all his policies put into action, but sadly that didn't happen.
I still admire the man.
Beautifully said, I remember the best standard of living in this country under the Howard government. Not since it has all gone to shit... I detested Turnbull with a passion... He was a complete bastard.
100% agree with you..
Yes, the standard of living that Hawke and Keating set up for Howard and Costello to then squander by not setting Australia for the future. Built no infrastructure, set house prices alight and now made buying a house a pipe dream for many, kept wages low, and created a divided Australia. As Keating rightly said, Costello was asleep on a hammock for 11 years.
What? Howard opened the floodgates on immigration and turned the Aussie home into an inflated investment asset class.
Turncoat Turnbull always sleezing around pretending to be nice.

Unfortunately so many politicians today run on ego and personal glory instead of actually doing what the public votes them in to do, serve the Australian and have the Australian Public’s best interests at heart. We also have one of the biggest ego driven arrogant people running the country at the moment who has not even the slightest sense of reality towards what the Australian public are going through every day nor does it seems he cares either!

Scott Morrison: "I can't recall..." That's the standard response from someone who doesn't want to outright lie. We saw exactly that from Eric Schwerin when he testified at the Joe Biden impeachment inquiry two days ago.
