I get lost just exploring with this synth regularly; one of the best purchases I have ever made. Looping ADSR patched to Q is magic. While it does beyond that to me this is certainly by far the best value bass analog mono today and one of the best period. (We shall see what happens when MS1 mk2 ships) While you can get some similar sounds from either, I think of the Odyssey as a straightforward lead analog so one should have both. 😉

I have the Behringer Odyssey, but am still interested in the Cat as it does have a different sound. It would be good to see a comparison between the Cat and Odyssey.
I also have the 2600 and Wasp. They're both great. I have an original EDP Wasp I got in the early 80s and the Behringer is spot on.
I have both, and they are different. I really like both. With these prices just get both. The cat cross mod sounds different from Odyssey ring mod

Hello. I just got the CAT and I also have novation launchpad mini. Could you tell me what should I do to be able to connect those two? I was trying to learn fl studio. Do I need Ableton for that? And what exavtly do I need to do there to use launchpad as a keyboard? Thanks in advance

Lots of the sounds in the hx one are excellent. It’s well worth it. Only issue is you can only run on effect at a time.

2600, with its patch bay, could absolutely be a video series of great length. IDK if that interests you, but it would interest me.
At the very least, it would free you up to make a simpler video to start with and decide on follow ups later.
