I watched a David Rodigan interview and the interviewer called him a king of reggae music, and he replied 'I am not the king of reggae I'm just a humble selector who's loved the music for many years just like all of us' I think these boys are just speaking out of jealousy to be honest. Rodigan has never pretended to be anything he's not. And a legend he is. You can't take that from him.
I don't blame Rodigan for making a living from something he claims to love. Nor can I blame him for dealing with the ting the way he does, this is typical of his group. How much more evidence do we need for us to work out that some people behave differently , it's their nature.. I personally have never spent my money to see Rodigan and I never will. It's a bit like going to my local Turkish restaurant for a meal and finding out the chef is Jamaican. The food tastes really good, but something wouldn't feel quite right and I don't think at this stage in our journey we need to be wasting valuable time complaining, when we have been eating di food for years. we should be totally focussed on building our future. I think 400 years should have taught us that, if you dance with the devil it's not you who tells the fiddler when to stop playing. Bless up Castro Brown and Mandinggo, two real generals in the industry, but can we get your views and valued insight on what we need to do to preserve the heritage of our beloved reggae music and how do we create a rich and vibrant future free of pirates, vultures and imposters. I look forward to your response.
Best post to this video!!! Bless family. Tired of talking about 'them' let's work on building 'us'. Can't change their way...nor am I interested in trying to.
But Mandingo.... Question for you....sorry to say this but why you guys come from Jamaica... boost up and make Rodigan use you?.... Remember it’s Coxsone Neville Enchanter, etc ... Teach Rodigan the runnings and him use you like Columbus....You had so so many Black English-Born Youth in England who know about Reggae Music... you could have nurtured them with the skills.... but BBC give Rodigan the job...and all them man run to him...like him have power!

Listening to this brother named Castro Brown it is the very 1st time I ever heard of him, what I does realized of late. That some Jamaicans want to claimed that they, are the original in the reggae music industry which is not true. The main man 👨 in Jamaica 🇯🇲 who really started the searching for singers in Jamaica, his name is Vere John. He helps to developed the United States music industry, he left Jamaica in 1924 to New York city and started a. Talent contests show, and returns to Jamaica before Castro Brown ,Bob Marley, Alton Ellis just to mentioned a few of them was born. He returns to Jamaica in 1939 and started a talent contests show, where he discovered the Wailers, John Holt, Millie Small, Alton Ellis just to mentioned a few of them. I remembered that man 👨 in the 1960s useto have a show on RJR radio station, named the Vere John opportunities show. He died in 1966 who is one of Jamaica pioneer of the music, plus before the music industry became recognized. People way back useto played Mento music I born come see, my uncle see my uncle playing music. He played Banjos and guitar 🎸 and he was born in the 1920s,and most of who is trying to say. That they were the 1st it is not true at all, I born come see Chris Blackwell who useto lived in Jamaica from a very young age. He was born in London and moved to Jamaica 🇯🇲 with his parents and, got involved into the music industry from early 1960s. Becaused I remembered when Millie small went to England 🇬🇧 by Chris Blackwell with this song, my boy Lollipops 🍭 in the 1960s. I born come see Alton Ellis who started to sing in 1954 according to what I read, until I was big enough to know him.Man like Radigan came in the music industry very late in the 1970s to early 1980s, when he and Barry G linked up. That is when the reggae music really gets 👌 gone globally, it is one of the biggest radio show in the world. People from all over the world useto tuned into the Barry G and Radigan radio show. People in Jamaica who would setting up to tape the show, it was the biggest show on both radio stations in Jamaica 🇯🇲 and around the world. I am not trying to take away anything from Castro Brown, but Radigan is the biggest reggae man in England. Although man like Alton Ellis, Bob Marley, Desmond Decker, Toots and the maytals,Millie Small, John Holt, Dennis Brown, just to mentioned a few of them. There is not one of them really making an impact on the reggae music industry, as Radigan. I spent some times in England 🇬🇧, been to a few places. Visited a few west indies clubs, also went to a few pushin ,so I know what am talking 👄 about. My father 👨 went to England 🇬🇧 in 1957 and useto, tell about the Jamaican music there. When I heard this guy 👦 talking about studio 🎙, I don't believed he knows about King Tubbys. Becaused he useto have one of the best studio in Jamaica 🇯🇲,I don't believed he knows that King Tubbys useto operating his own radio station from his studio 🎙 in Waterhouse . I know King Tubbys 🤴 from 1968,because I was living very close to his studio 🎙. But there is nobody in Jamaica 🇯🇲 cannot compared with King Tubbys, he is one of the founder of dubs he and Lee scratch Perry, and a producer named Errol Thompson. If Castro Brown goes to Jamaica and asked about Radigan, the whole Jamaica knows about him. Also in the United States 👍 where he played into some of the biggest sounds clashes in the world. I don't believed that Castro Brown really knows how big Radigan was, in Jamaica, the United States and around the world at all. Radigan becomes bigger than Chris Blackwell one of the foundation member of the reggae music, not because. He is not a Jamaican, but people in Jamaica really knows, about Radigan than him. Radigan is so popular in Jamaica 🇯🇲 like a king 🤴, he can go anywhere in Jamaica and. People would be lining up to greet him, he useto go all over Jamaica to interview singers. Most of the singers in Jamaica knows Radigan, well the younger generation may not know him now.Becaused he is not running the radio shows anymore, but if he should started it up again. Not even the BBC radio station in England, would never get as big as Radigan at all. It would be much bigger now, with the internet services programs, but Radigan is huge 👌 worldwide phenomenon radio man.Casto Brown can contact me,let me give him some really good information 💁♀️ about the reggae music industry. The very 1st song that was done in reggae beat was Larry Marshall from St,Ann Discovery Bay, Queen Hythe in 1968 Nanny goat 🐐 version. I know that man 👨 in person, I know his mother and father, and most of his family 👪. His uncle useto lived in Stockport in England 🇬🇧 going to Manchester, or Liverpool. I know all those areas ,so Castro Brown can talk to me. As I said I useto lived near to King Tubbys Hi-fi power sound system, and know a lot of the artists them. Going to Prince Buster 🤴 record shop on Orange street, Randy's by North Parade just to mentioned a few of them. I know the great Duke Reid long before Coxenne, sound system. Castro Brown want a lot of teaching about the reggae music industry, because there is a lot of things he does not know at all. Anyone want to challenge my comment, they are very much free to do so with relevant facts. Not friction, I know most of the original singers them from in 1960s,also 1970s and 80s ok 👌. I strongly believes that Castro Brown cannot comparing himself with Radigan at all, with due respect. Although Radigan was not born in Jamaica, but he became an house hold name between. The older Jamaicans during his time between him and Barry G,on the radio show. So I would tell Castro Brown and, some of Jamaicans living in England 🇬🇧. That Radigan is more popular than them in Jamaica 🇯🇲, and if they are returning to Jamaica and they are afraid. To go anywhere according to what they heard about the violence, they can asked David Radigan to accompanied them and. Nobody will ever interfering with them, that is to show you how the man 👨 is well beloved. If anyone of you does not believed me, I am going to asked one of Jamaica popular singer,Barrington Levy and. Hear 👂 what the man will tells you about David Radigan, how popular the man 👨 was in Jamaica 🇯🇲 back then ok 👌.
This man is talking crap because he never know Castro Brown i know Castro from back in the 70s, and he was in reggae music from long time before that.He used to run a club in Croydon called Georgan where my brothers band use to play he gave them their name Reggae Regulars who was the first to release a number 1 hit on Greensleeves record Where is Jah. Castro Brown was a well known and loved bredren to all of the black people of Brixton who had anything to do with Reggae music,so where you come from trying to belittle his name i dont know Rodigan must have paid you or maybe you are Rodigan undercover trying a ting.If you are a black man you should be ashamed of yourself for this asault on a fellow black man in order to promote a culture vultre like David Rodigan. RIP Mr Castro Brown that's what happens to all our great black men some white man take away thier legacy and claim it for themself but not this time. Big up youself Toney Brown too Castro son.
Its not just about colour and background its about the personality and style also the effect and the love that Rodigan shows for the music. When Rodigan came out most radio fans did not realise that he was white that's how good he was he clearly loves the music so critics need to surely accept this.
.Papa Face played when Rodigan is not in town...Papa Face speak up. Black people comp!ain. I am Nigerian but have followed this music for 45 years. Thank God for Babsy Grange who is helping to position reggae today....We need to focus and build our ting. You may have issues with Rodigan but please keep it clean. Black people must unite and build our ting.
Capital radio gave Rodigan a better platform, back in the day.Saturday night was prime time for young reggae fans.I use to work in Gunsmoke's record shop, when Shaka & nuff soundman use buy tunes.Tell them Castro,Sir Coxsone,Fat man,Count Shelly & many more are real foundation in British reggae scene.
He also owned shops news paper man. Respect Castro big man. Castro Brown gave me my first job at 16 Bon Marche Brixton, Fidel mens wear, man was good to me never forget that. R.I.P Big man
I live through this era. Rodigan started with Steve Banard and Sir Tony Williams before getting a job on Capital radio. I disagree that rodigan was better than tony Williams. For me Tonys style of radio sold records. Especially Rockers fm top 10. God rest your peaceful soul Sir Tony.
Also Mr Castro Brown, when Rodigan went to Kiss FM he didn't stop playing Reggae, he had Reggae shows but was also doing shows with other Genres of music, this was just for a while but he has always played Reggae !
What a bag of rubbish instigated by Mandingo, Castro even said that none of the other presenters could match David Rodigan and as a former presenter i totally agree, he is the consumate professional with a wealth of knowledge which is all i want, nothing more nothing less, why do they carry on like Rodigan owes them anything, what did Tony Williams or Daddy Ernie ever give, the answer is nothing and they shouldn't be expected to give anything. Don't they realize that the promotion Rodigan gives Reggae music because of the platforms he is on? Mandingo needs to stop this false narrative by getting people on his platform who agrees with his point of view. Castro didn't even make any good points, he'd start off making a point then end up saying 'an all dem ting deh' Absolute joke, bad mind is definitely active!!
What all these people fail to recognise is everything they are talking about was for the black audience Rodigan helped bring Reggae music to the massive mixed audience so everyone benefited from bigger crowds which bought bigger financing. Give the guy his credit. And Castro Brown was a self serving character.
So why Jamaica never honour their own? We love to moan. So many greats from Jamaica but Jamaican government never supported the artistes or the music. The curfews against dances, branding of reggae as rude bwoy music by the Jamaican government hasn't helped.
Rodigan is a product of white privilege..It doesn't mean dat he don't love reggae music...Rodigan loves our music from his heart & soul, but don't forget why he is so big, its because he is white. My words towards Rodigan are not an insult, its just the truth.
It's not just because he's white - he's from a particular family/bloodline where the elites place people in prominent positions in entertainment, to 'handle' the information that goes out to the masses. Same thing happens in rock, pop etc
Its not just about colour and background its about the personality and style also the effect and the love that Rodigan shows for the music. When Rodigan came out most radio fans did not realise that he was white that's how good he was he clearly loves the music so critics need to surely accept this. 2 this was a comment on your page
carol martin; it's not just about colour, John from Dud vendor, is white and Castor brown said that he did more for Reggae music in England than Rodigan So don't try and act as if they are against Rodigan because of his colour, he was a selfish user, who use Reggae music, Reggae music made Rodigan, rodigan didn't make make Reggae music in England, The Real Godfathers of Reggae music in England are the black Soundmen who were playing Reggae music all around the UK before white Radio station would play Reggae, he didn't even have a Sound system himself, Coxsone was the first Jamaican to invite Rodigan to a Reggae Dance, Godfather for Reggae in England!!!! you're taking the piss mate, Godfather for you, but not Godfather for me, it's called white privilege; Learn that,
Sometimes the truth comes out at the unknown time but it comes OUT, BIG UP CASTRO BROWN, I KNEW ABOUT NEW NAME STUDIO LONGTIME KNG 13, CASTRO DEH BOUT LONGTIME, RIP MICKEY DREAD AT THE CONTROL OUTTA JAMAICA LONGTIME RADIO DJ TALK DE TALK CASTRO
This is why I like the way ricky trooper diss up david rodigan at club jamrock back in 1997. This is why the sound clash fraternity is all fucked up. You have all these culture voulters coming in and messing it up. What hurts the most is. England wants to appoint this man as the ambassador of reggae music. What happened to Lloyd Coxsone?
I man Think ,everybody did there part to promote Jamaican Music, Coxone, Rodigan and all the rest . So stop talking down each other and praise each other instead. I first meet David Rodigan In 1976-77 in Germany , he used to do a few hours of Reggae on the armed Forces Radio Station (BFBS) he came to a Club that I played reggae Music at. ( Atlantik Disco Gütersloh ) I think his work in those days helped to spread jamaican Music all over europe, all over the world so I say give thanks to Him for his work which helped to spread our Music.
We've had Originators and Imitators from time, especially since Kemet. This music was created as a result of the situations and oppressions that were put upon our peoples, and out of that pressure a diamond was formed. This diamond was the force of resistance against all oppressions. Then the oppressors came along and stole the diamond(much like they do in S Africa), and now market it as their own, without any acknowledgement of the reasons for the music.
Sorry, but Mandingo u are wrong when u said "by the time Rodigan came on the scene Steve Barnard was no longer around" I can remember both were on the radio at the same time, I also remember Steve Barnard played more lovers rock and Rodigan used to feature more Dancehall and Fresh Music out of Jamaica. David Rodigan is one of the Generals in the UK reggae scene, end of story !
There are always those in the audience who have been trained to just want the song. They don't care about the business behind the song, so the artist can be ripped off in plain sight, and the audience would not care. Unless you go to Jamaica and see how some of the artists who made great hit reggae songs are struggling to make ends meet, you will never fully understand the reggae music "business." I'm going to go with Coxsone and Castro on this one, just on the strength of when they were doing what I consider to be laying the foundation. Like The Wailers said "Catch A Fire." Well, that early fire took a lot of work to keep alight. In his journal "Black London" Dr. Henry Louis Gates lets us know that the sound system and the blues dance were the spaces in which the Caribbean/African in the UK could preserve their culture, whilst assimilating into the dominant culture. It was our space, and we only invited those into it with whom we felt comfortable. One of those people is David Rodigan, but he came after so much of the heavy lifting had been done. Not to mention, the fighting, being beaten, and going to jail. Coxsone is more than right to be aggrieved, as would be Count Suckle, and Duke Vin. Black british history must be written accurately, so our work in the UK is preserved in our name. (1st dance 1975, Sir Coxsone, St. Giles Community Center, Camberwell SE5).
Great post! Hence many of the commenters here don't care about the background info or truth. It makes no sense to debate with them...there is no debate. These are same people who swear Bob Marley alone made the Wailers and could give a shit bout Peter or Bunny. The are sensationalists to be nice...lame simps to be honest though.
Interesting. When I heard Rodigan received a MBE from the queen I thought it was a bit weird. And he was born on a military base, and was a classically trained actor - so his story is a bit suspicious. Although I think he genuinely likes the music.
Rodigan was bbbbaaaaadddddd!!!!! He did buss at the right time. But whatta ting; look like love him never bring!!!! Everybody ring up de alarm!!!!!! look like him bet busssssss!!!!! Looking back 2 his radio career & his connections to singers, producers, musicians, record shops & labels, pappa face & mikey dread, & his output doesn't seem that productive. Him shoulda look after face & mikey!! Horace Andy did sign "c a man's face but u never know his heart".... it makes u think doh!!
Boss man I hear your pain but Radigon reached out to the artists and took it to another level so those like you who are in the business need to step fwd and deal with it same way like Radi.
I believe every word, you said Mr. Brown. But what did you guy's expect from a white man, who's shown so much interest in another man's culture. Sorry to say this but you guy's were assisting a Vulture, the same thing was done to the jazz singers in the 1920's, Rythm and blues singers in the 50's, white men befriend them and steal their blue print and patent it. This David guy did the exact thing.
Rodigan did exactly what he was supposed to do like anyone who is setting up a business you study the market look for the opportunity and jump on it when you see it he already said that he was the best presenter on the radio so he must have been doing something right this breada just sound bitter and resentful. Smh
This argument does nothing for the matter, the music is king, I hear people all over saying they first did this, they mad this man, they did more than the next.. it's a shame that people feel the need to undermine and show off, by it is fixed in this business, the great Frankie Paul passed away and I remember struggles he had to deal with, and the people that say they made his career, and the things promised to him that never came his way, and the response direct from his mouth. This has to stop, the music is the godfather.
This thread shows the racism in the very same non black people who claim to love reggae. Seems they share the same badmind and jealous gene of their ancestors. Everything that was stolen or appropriated was never about admiration just pure jealousy and badmind. You are the most badmind set of beings on this planet. Look how you and your foreparents have destroyed earth and yet you have the audacity to speak before Gods...bow down Lucifer.
David Rodigan documents Reggae around himself.... he does not give true analysis of Reggae Music...eg Rodigan downplayed role of early pioneers of Reggae Music in UK... eg Count Vin....undermined the development of international Reggae Artists from Local Reggae Artists....Made Reggae appear as an unsophisticated Music genre... failed to educate Reggae fans...Reggae has different branches eg Authentic Reggae...Roots Reggae DanceHall Reggae...historically omitted important figures in Reggae Music eg General Echo Madoo influence in early DanceHall 1980/81...the development of Reggae Artists in the UK...The overbearing of Reggae Music not compatible for the international market....failing to recognise and promote Reggae has a serious contender to other music genres...that why Bob Marley is still the only big international seller of Reggae Music...approx nearly 40 years after his death...
My father Nathaniel Thompson AKA Lord coose Aka donkey man, was very instrumental in biggin up reggae artists. He was an original sound man who travelled up and down the country in the 60s and seventies doing house parties and blues, until he settled for his own blues which Rodigan used to frequent when he lived in Sheffield. It may be an act but Rodigan never fails to mention Donkey man's.
carol martin what do you mean David Rodigan didn't make reggae music big we just don't like him acting like he's the figurehead of reggae music when he is not
he is not a figurehead of reggae music nor is he the godfather but he is a great man and he chooses to get involved with ur music which he loved for over 40 years i been to a lot of his shows i never heard of you or lloyd coxson but i heard of rodigan they made him mbe good luck to him there is a jealousy here when you hear of rodigan you know you r going to get a good reggae sound he is a great dj love no doubt about that and he is not racist he is loved by the jamaicans
drop that stupid topic .you first said on TH-cam that David Rodigan say him a Godfather fi reggae . no u change & say Castro boown that falsely as Godfather. no matter what Radigan did great thing fi lots of Jamaican Artist. where we're all u .when Ragan a come a Jamaica with Barry G, a bad mind all you long hair Boyz. a carry fi the man
Bullshit...if anything Rodigan got more of a Bly because of the novelty of being white and playing reggae back then. A blackman had to work 10 times as hard to be noticed in his own country. Stop chat fuckry.
i asked quite a few people and no one has heard of you i googled you name and wow some story way back in the day google your name love i did and i love reggae music
You mention you heard not of Castor Brown......I came to UK 1977 at the age of 15, and I have been hearing and buying nuff 12 inch vinyl produce by Castor Brown...I even thought at early stage he and Dennis Brown were brother.... Whenever a black try to speak of any form of injustice, it's a problem to some of you devil pickney in disguise
im just saying never heard of castro i googled his name im multi culture im just saying he running rodigan down who i have heard of why run the man down rodigan worked for where he is today im just saying int not injustice castro brown want s to be in rodigans book to me it a jealousy thing trevor macdonald made his name and the world love s trevor thats what im saying

Just because you haven't heard of him doesn't mean it isn't true. Tanya Stephen's mentioned the studio and Dawn, that is what brought me here.
Blair Boyd. You never have any thing good to say about Jamaicans. You hated PETER TOSH. You hated BUNNY WALLER 🐰 🐇 😤..
Big up!!!
He also owned shops news paper man. Respect Castro big man. Castro Brown gave me my first job at 16 Bon Marche Brixton, Fidel mens wear, man was good to me never forget that. R.I.P Big man
big castro brown mandingo stand up for rights jamaicans.
Rodigan and Coxsone play rasta
music....Big them up!!! Lets not criticise....Jah jah no partial
Tony williams deserves more credit but good interview
Wow, did not know that Rodigan was like that. It is good that the truth is coming out
I live through this era.
Give thanks mandingo for the up load
So why Jamaica never honour their own? We love to moan. So many greats from Jamaica but Jamaican government never supported the artistes or the music. The curfews against dances, branding of reggae as rude bwoy music by the Jamaican government hasn't helped.
Godfather for those who don't know
Rodigan is a product of white privilege..It doesn't mean dat he don't love reggae music...Rodigan loves our music from his heart & soul, but don't forget why he is so big, its because he is white. My words towards Rodigan are not an insult, its just the truth.
It's not just because he's white - he's from a particular family/bloodline where the elites place people in prominent positions in entertainment, to 'handle' the information that goes out to the masses. Same thing happens in rock, pop etc
Hense white privilege...i do understand ur point about elites...Bless!
Same like Westwood.
Its not just about colour and background its about the personality and style also the effect and the love that Rodigan shows for the music. When Rodigan came out most radio fans did not realise that he was white that's how good he was he clearly loves the music so critics need to surely accept this.

carol martin; it's not just about colour, John from Dud vendor, is white and
Castor brown said that he did more for Reggae music in England than Rodigan
So don't try and act as if they are against Rodigan because of his colour,
he was a selfish user, who use Reggae music, Reggae music made Rodigan,
rodigan didn't make make Reggae music in England,
The Real Godfathers of Reggae music in England are the black Soundmen who
were playing Reggae music all around the UK before white Radio station
would play Reggae, he didn't even have a Sound system himself, Coxsone
was the first Jamaican to invite Rodigan to a Reggae Dance,
Godfather for Reggae in England!!!! you're taking the piss mate, Godfather for
you, but not Godfather for me, it's called white privilege; Learn that,
That's not true, nuff people knew plus his voice give him weh! Tap tell lie...
Ricardo...Big up yuhself!!! 100%
@@rtee4086 you should mention how many records sold because of radigan 🤣 you people are lost
Talk truth. My exact thoughts
rodigan is a house hold name and took it into europe via bfbs radio
Rip Castro ❤
That's my grandad no joke
Tuff producer trust me bro
Amazing comment!!!
Ras P ok have you got proof ?
R.I.P Castro Brown
No!!!!
So happy they got this interview, now its up to us to preserve their legacy before their story becomes history. R.I.Z. Castro Brown
R l P Castro Brown Chris
Used to see him regular when i was working in the bookies. Real cool guy. Only just found out he passed. R.I.P
What me can’t understand is why it take so long to find out the truth when damage has allready been done .
There are always those in the audience who have been trained to just want
the song.
Excellent post BTW!
Interesting. When I heard Rodigan received a MBE from the queen I thought it was a bit weird. And he was born on a military base, and was a classically trained actor - so his story is a bit suspicious. Although I think he genuinely likes the music.
Niles Harilie he genuinely likes the music but he’s a tool like Lawrence of Arabia was a tool. Black people fool nuh fart fi follow dem deh people.
Is this the same Mandingo who calls in to Muta's show?
Yes
Rodigan was bbbbaaaaadddddd!!!!!
He did buss at the right time.
But whatta ting; look like love him never bring!!!!
Everybody ring up de alarm!!!!!!
look like him bet busssssss!!!!!
Looking back 2 his radio career & his connections to singers, producers, musicians, record shops & labels, pappa face & mikey dread, & his output doesn't seem that productive. Him shoulda look after face & mikey!!
Horace Andy did sign "c a man's face but u never know his heart".... it makes u think doh!!
And me notice him no play none a mikey dread tune dem.KMT.
Is this a Rodigan biography ?
That he was the godfather he loved the music
Pure jealousy over rodigan
Mandingo was ur dad a popular principal of a primary school in Spanish Town St.Catherine Ja ??
Also... never encouraged the sale of classic Reggae Albums....where sales to Reggae is important...
" AH REAL TALK "
I remember Rodigan wanted to play on my sound in the early 1980s ... and I said NO!... on the principle that he was a BBC novice...
authentic selector really ?? You should of , might of known who you are
And you’ve gone on to such big things since 😁
This thread shows the racism in the very same non black people who claim to love reggae.
Large Up Fadda Lord Koos!
so DAVID ROIdGAN just write him self into reggae music like sey a him create the thing, they all do.
There’s some real bs said on here smh
Raddy started 1977.
Rodigan is brilliant you should thank your lucky stars someone loves you and promote you and your music
carol martin what do you mean David Rodigan didn't make reggae music big we just don't like him acting like he's the figurehead of reggae music when he is not
he is not a figurehead of reggae music nor is he the godfather but he is a great man and he chooses to get involved with ur music which he loved for over 40 years i been to a lot of his shows i never heard of you or lloyd coxson but i heard of rodigan they made him mbe good luck to him there is a jealousy here when you hear of rodigan you know you r going to get a good reggae sound he is a great dj love no doubt about that and he is not racist he is loved by the jamaicans
are u the figure head of the reggae music then mr
carol martin I never said I was to the figurehead for reggae music but he certainly isn't
loll your funny you put urself on the net running people down no one wants ur music
i looked at all your comment s and you dont have a go at them he respect rodigan this is what you show is all about

Cant deal with the truth? Typical whites befriend, steal and colonize. Black people will not learn.
drop that stupid topic .you first said on TH-cam that David Rodigan say him a Godfather fi reggae . no u change & say Castro boown that falsely as Godfather. no matter what Radigan did great thing fi lots of Jamaican Artist. where we're all u .when Ragan a come a Jamaica with Barry G, a bad mind all you long hair Boyz. a carry fi the man
Name the artist who he bust.
Bullshit...if anything Rodigan got more of a Bly because of the novelty of being white and playing reggae back then. A blackman had to work 10 times as hard to be noticed in his own country. Stop chat fuckry.
