- One of my favourite Tibetan breads, this is Woeshang Phalay, a thick fluffy deeply fried bread.
Ingredients:
For Dough-
Flour 500g
Baking Powder 3tsp
Salt 2 tsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Milk 1 cup
Water
For frying-
Oil

Wow... this is almost exactly like the Johnny cakes we eat in the Virgin Islands 🇻🇮. We even slit it the same way but sometimes add a bit of sugar. There's also an option where we make the dough and stuff with meats or seafood which we call a paté.
