Your sketch is so good. I wanted to skip ahead see it done, then go back to watch you work. When I scrub through the timeline the preview looks like real life footage of the scene to me. Very realistic colors. Great job.
I think u show the messiness of the city and the randomness of the wires so that one can see the uniqueness of how it all comes together. I do think that some parts r too dark but all in all -'I like it' :)
I have a Strathmore visual art journal; but, not as large as the one you have. It holds up to all sorts of art media that I have used with it. I actually like it better for watercolor than I do the Arches watercolor paper. For me, the Arches does not hold up as well as the Strathmore journal pages. I am not able to find Posca markers locally; but, I have wanted to try them. I see many artists use them on top of watercolor and they seem to work nicely for when the artist wants to add highlights. Your sketch and painting turned out quite well. Thanks for sharing.
thanks for your comment. I have a hard time to choose supplies & always scroll through the video's comments also to catch some hints. Noone around me paint or draw & a lot of stuff I only can get online without a little try before (like Posca markers, which I bought, like to use & would can recommend, as far I can recommend anything at this point) Archers is so darn expensive. Strathmore is way more affordable over here, I think about to give it a try.
Get the color so fast, complete the second part, the effect is great! Your efficiency is really high. I wish you a happy painting! Greetings from Australian travel painters!
I get a kick out of a limited 3-color palette that does not consist of the primaries, forcing you to get buy without certain colors. Most successful combo was Orange, Teal, Violet.
A wonderful sketch...I like it in both black and white and color. I wonder about the Aureolin being a hue since in the past I've read that hues are not necessarily permanent. It's a pretty yellow, though.
Aureolin is not a lightfast pigment, and hence some brands created hues. The Aureolin hues are the lightfast option in this case. th-cam.com/video/jIJ_OHlkiGY/w-d-xo.html That video goes more in depth about it.
Awesome sketch and use of color! What kind of india ink did you use for the sketch? I use Noodlers bulletproof ink, but for some reason it's not as solid black.
Your painting makes an ordinary street scene look fantastic. Thanks for sharing.
I enjoyed this video very much. The three colors you chose are very versatile in the number of colors you can get.
That is a beautiful result. The colors are amazing. Thank you!
Teoh, very lively scene and the your colors bring it to a matching vibrant life
I love the way you let the colours mix on the page rather than in the palette.

That is a gorgeous triad selection!
A great and lively sketch Teoh and with my favourite Schmincke watercolours. Looks super.

Wow this looks great! I’m new to watercolor and you’ve taught me a lot! Thanks
Good work 👏👏👏
Great work
It looks very different than your usual color choices, but I like it.

Love these three paints together, especially for the greens, browns and greys. The markers really make it “pop”. What is the marker brand, again?
Uni Posca
Looks like a medium bullet paint marker?
