To me, this song reminds me that during those times in our lives, where we are struggling just to breathe and feel lost in the dark trying to find our way out of the situation you are dealing with, that your guardian angel is there and like a message from your guardian angel to hang in there and never give up. Will the way out of that situation be easy? No, but it will be worth it. Yes, I have dealt with wanting to give up. Feeling like what is the use of going on. This song is like a message to me to hang in there, and that I am not alone. Also for anyone who may read this who can relate to what I have said or even someone who is just having a hard time with whatever it is they are dealing, to you I say please, please hang in there. Please do not give up. You are much stronger and worth so much more than what others have told you. I know it is very hard to hang on at certain times. But please I ask that you would hang on. I remember in high school I use to be called a poser because I loved these songs but I wasn't a stereotypical "emo" kid. I had just moved to the US from Africa and this music resonated with me. His father passed away in a car accident 2 days before my bday and on the day we were going to find out that we were going to have a boy. His father loved this song when I played it for him. To me, this song reminds me that during those times in our lives, where we are struggling just to breathe and feel lost in the dark trying to find our way out of the situation you are dealing with, that your guardian angel is there and like a message from your guardian angel to hang in there and never give up. Will the way out of that situation be easy? No, but it will be worth it. Yes, I have dealt with wanting to give up. Feeling like what is the use of going on. This song is like a message to me to hang in there, and that I am not alone.
Also for anyone who may read this who can relate to what I have said or even someone who is just having a hard time with whatever it is they are dealing, to you I say please, please hang in there. I'm far from emo but I love all these songs. I just hear great lyrics, talented guitarists and drummers. I remember in high school I use to be called a poser because I loved these songs but I wasn't a stereotypical "emo" kid. I had just moved to the US from Africa and this music resonated with me.
