    3rd time listening. After 25 years of being a type 2 diabetic, i finally got a fasting insulin test. I thought 6.6 was decent until i heard your ranges. Wish more doctors would focus on insulin and not strictly glucose.

      Even longer water only fasts than 24 hours tbh. A lot of data shows the benefits of a water only fast peak at around 40-48 hours. Anything after that is for extreme fat loss.

      Truly! While I have never had migraine headaches I have been led to believe that Keto flu and headaches are really caused by carbohydrate withdrawal. Thus, it should be called carb detox symptoms. NOT keto flu nor keto related symptoms. Only carbohydrates should be blamed.
      Especially gut and rash issues! Ketones heal these. War may be taking place in guts for six whole months, but, in the end ketones repair all intestinal issues.

    So, then if we just acknowledged type 2 diabetes as insulin resistance, instead of calling someone pre diabetic, they are in fact diabetic aka they have insulin resistance if we focused on the insulin instead of the sugar in the urine.

    • @yuliaantonenkovolkova9041
      @yuliaantonenkovolkova9041 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Weeks to months, depending on severity and on cleanliness of the diet and consistency, also low stress as cortisol has pro- insulin effect

      I was able to correct mine in six weeks. You have to commit to the necessary diet changes to succeed. I am unable to handle carbs so went right to the jugular and went carnivore. Went from diabetic to non-diabetic level in six weeks.

I have high Lp(a) so am a bit afraid of the avocado and olive oil as they seem to raise Lp(a), but i'm having difficulty with the concept of heavy saturated fat, as I've been asked to tried to keep my cholesterol down to help compensate and I've read that lowering saturated fat increases Lp(a). I suspect since insulin resistance affects reproduction in men as well as women. With the sale of blue pills on the market. I suspect it also affects a woman's ability to get her vagina wet. A wet vagina is easy to compensate for with the selection of water base lubricants on the market. How many women are complaining about their mans ability to get an erection, when they at the same time can't get it wet? Symptoms of the same thing. Insulin resistance.
